Can't beat it for the price! Homey Hot Pot delivered such a fun and flavorful experience. We got a great spread of meats, noodles, veggies, and sides--and it all came out super fresh and well-stocked. The broth stayed hot and bubbling the whole time, and I loved being able to mix and match everything just how I liked it. The vibe is super casual and welcoming, and for how much food you get, it's honestly such a steal. Definitely recommend for a group dinner or date night!

Swung by on a whim when my meal prepped lunch didn't work out. For a little under $9, you get 2 rolls and a salad for the lunch special! A little too much sauce on the salad, and the lettuce didn't taste very fresh, but the rolls were great. For the price, I'm impressed. I'll definitely be back! Might get the soup instead of salad, though.

Wowwwww -- this was the first experience everyone in our party has had with Hot Pot; of course, thanks to TikTok I had seen many places for hot pot and wanted to try it out for myself. The service did not disappoint- he was so kind and explained every part of the ALL YOU CAN EAT Hot Pot and sushi - we each got our own hot pot with our choice of soup and the add ins were abundant. My favorites ended up being the dumplings, rice cakes, Napa cabbage, bok choy, and the pork that was marinated. They also had a sauce bar where you can either follow a recipe or make your own concoction. We were highly impressed by everything we ate and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend giving Homey a try.

The Homey in Bloomington is completely different than the homey in Indianapolis. The quality is 100% better. I wish this one was in Indy. I ordered a few sushi rolls and sashimi, the fish was a lot better than the one in Indy. Everything overall seemed a lot better over here compared to their other location, meats, veggies. I would definitely drive the 45 mins here just to get this again!

    Hotpot and sushi!!

This place is a must-go AYCE in Bloomington! I'm visiting some IUB friends and they recommended here. We ordered hotpot and sushi combos. The receptionist is very patient to introduce their specials. The soup base is very nice, I especially like the beef tallow spicy one and the herbal one. Their food is also fresh and clean. Also highly recommend the homemade spicy oil chill dipping sauce, too nice!!

This is the first time experiencing the Hot pot craze that seems to be growing. That being said my review cannot be construed as anything other than a novice hot potter that was slightly overwhelmed. The service was exceptional and the attention to our needs was spot on. From the time we sat down till we left the help was always close by. Parking is also close by with a parking garage right next to restaurant and street parking available as well. We advised our server it was out first time trying the hot pot and she sent over a gentleman who took his time explaining every single page of the menu and answering any questions we had. Homey hot pot offers all you can eat hot pot or all you can eat sushi or both together. The price is only a few dollars difference and actually quite a value for what you are allowed to choose from. You start off by picking a soup base and then page by page you choose what items you would like brought to your table. Keep in mind that you actually cook the items you choose at your table. So don't freak out when raw ingredients are sat in front of you. Once the broth/soup is sat on the burner and it comes to a boil, you can start adding your ingredients. You are the chef, cook and mastermind behind your own concoctions. We were advised that the food can be a little bland so they have a very nice seasoning bar where you can mix and match any desired flavors. They have a couple of recipes on the wall that help you build a nice dipping sauce. You do have to be aware of the temp of your broth/ soup and that can be a little tedious at first. There is a lot going on and your table fills up with food very fast. There is so much to choose from I would recommend asking for smaller portions to start so you can enjoy the many offerings they have. We chose to go with the basics and were perfectly happy. We left full and were pleased with the selection and service. The restaurant appeared very clean and the employees very friendly. We would of given 5 stars but for the amount of work to cook and season the food made the experience feel more like work than pleasure. The experience is most likely worthy of 5 stars for hot pot aficionados.

The sushi was very good and the service was fair. My glass stayed empty for too long a couple times.

Homie Hot Pot and Sushi definitely feels like home for me. I have moved from East Bay Area, California and have been craving for delicious hot pot and sushi! When I heard I had to drive 1 hour to go to this location, I didn't hesitate at all and went for it. For only $19.99/person all you can eat hot pot and sushi, it was definitely worth the drive. They had a lot of selections of sushi and hot pot ingredients to choose from, which I'm very happy that they did that! Their soup base were super delicious and flavorful! The two soup base that I highly recommend for new people are tomato base and tube bone for a clear taste. For people who don't know what hot pot is, it is when they give you raw ingredients of your choice and you boil it at your table yourself. They allow you to choose 5 ingredients first for each person, to make sure you don't waste the food. You may continue to order more ingredients as you eat! At this very moment, they are having ventilation problems, but that just means you can't cook your food at the table. The chefs in the back will cook everything for you, so during that time mind as well try their sushi selection but be careful and don't get too full off of rice! The waitress is very friendly; she helps you change plates when needed and always says you're welcome when you thank her. I would definitely come back again and hopefully their ventilation problem is fixed, so I can cook my own hot pot!

All you can eat style of hotpot with only a few dollars more for all you can eat sushi also! The sushi uses a lot of rice but it's made fresh! There is also sashimi offered! The hotpot was good! There is a charge if there is food waste but that was not a problem! I think it would be nice to have more beef options. The bone broth is nice and light. The service was very good we got seated quickly but had called ahead to make sure a party of 4 was possible. The ambiance was good we got a nice booth table.

Get your fill here at this one stop AYCE hot pot restaurant. Lots of good selections, fast service and super reasonably priced. Food was delicious and completely filling. Wait staff overworked as every table was taken. Atmosphere a bit plain and the only downfall. Park in the garage for $1 for the duration of your meal.

The spicy broth is SPICY! if you like spicy food, you'll love it.

If you only get a singular hot pot can you still order unlimited hotpot add ins such as vegetables and meat?

Yes! Any hot pot comes with all the add ins you want!

Did they fix the table problem? Are they gonna cook the soup for us?

As of Nov 3, the ventilation system has not been fixed.

Are you back to allowing cooking hot pots at the tables again, or is the ventilation system still being fixed?

As of Nov 3, the ventilation system has not been fixed so they are still cooking everything in the back.

    Any food for vegetarians? Thanks

I would rather go somewhere else. We won't be back.

$60-70 Let me tell you what I experienced on 2/13/26…read more We had an OpenTable reservation, and our group traveled to Bloomington (from Carmel) for a play. We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(

Excellent Thai restaurant with high marks for food, service, and atmosphere…read more I've tried the Thai fish cakes, sweet and sour saute, pad bus sa ra com, mango sticky rice, and Thai iced tea and coffee. The savoury dishes were all super flavourful, cooked well, and generously portioned. Maybe this has something to do with the dishes I got, but I think the flavours here are generally more intense than the other Thai restaurants I've tried in Bloomington, and their spice levels might be a little higher. I've been somewhat underwhelmed by level 3 (out of 5) at other places, so I tried level 4 the first time I ordered here, and it was a little too hot, so I went back to level 3 the next time, and it was just right. The Thai tea and coffee were both very good, especially the coffee. It almost tasted chocolatey. The service is consistently on top of it. I was there on Valentine's Day, and they were slammed but had enough staff on the floor for it; the food was quick as usual and everyone was still very friendly. I also love the atmosphere here. The building is one of the converted houses on 4th St, and there are different dining rooms, some with lots of windows, all filled with interesting decor, and there's also a very nice patio during the warmer seasons. The only problem here is, unless there's a back entrance I don't know about, I don't think the building is wheelchair accessible; you have to go up a few stairs to get to the main entrance.
