We had some tears in our siding from removing our deck. He was able to purchase replacement pieces. The original manufacturer could not provide individual pieces but Jorge found a similar one that is nearly identical. Jorge approaches issues creatively. Instead of just replacing the siding (which was at a very visible spot in our backyard), he decided to take siding from the side of the house that is covered and use that at the back of the back of the house. That way, the siding all matched in the back where people hang out. The new pieces (which were very close to the original pieces) were put up on the side behind bushes. His knowledge about siding is high-level -- he knows his stuff.

American Window undercut the estimates of the other two vendors by a substantial margin. We also really liked they only asked for a modest down payment. Jay was our sales contact at American Windows and he was absolutely great. He has an engaging personality, and kept all his commitments to us. We appreciated that when installation day came, he swung by to ensure all was going well. Oh, how did the installation go? It was fantastic. Not only did the windows and door come earlier than promised, the American Windows crew came on time and worked quickly and professionally. We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.

Short Review: Juan completed a small job for me: removal of a 140sqf plaster ceiling, installation…read moreof a new drywall ceiling, installation of recessed lighting, finish work and painting. Overall, Juan is a really good, honest guy and he did great work with the drywall and electrical. Improvements in communication and cleaning of the worksite would make him a 5/5. I would hire again if he treated the space a bit more delicately to prevent damage and cleaned up significantly better at the end. Full Review: Pros: Juan has attention to detail to his work; the end result was very professional. He underestimated how much time the project would take by a couple days, however he worked over the weekend during his family time to make sure the project was done on my timeline. Juan arrived pretty early on most days (e.g. 7:00a.m.) and put in full days to get the project done. Cons: I was out of town for 3/6 days of the project. There were a couple issues with the installation that I would have appreciated a phone call to discuss before moving forward. Although he did arrive early, he was sometimes off +/- a couple hours for his arrival. This is only an issue if you are planning to meet him, which wasn't absolutely necessary on my part. Cleaning was a bit of an issue. Juan did wipe things down as he went, but the level of cleanliness was not great in my opinion. He put plastic over the door leading to other rooms, however a significant amount of dust made it throughout the other rooms. I had to clean this two times. In the outdoor space it appears he poured a couple buckets of spackle and water in the yard, areas that had just been seeded with grass and I had asked him to be careful of. To be fair, my yard is small, but still the mess could have been avoided. The site was roughly wiped down and the floor was mopped, however I still had significant piles of dust on most horizontal surfaces, walls were scuffed up and had multiple new hand prints, and the wood floor had multiple scratches and depressions from moving the fridge around. The fridge is heavy, but I have moved it in and out of that room a couple times with no damage to the floor so I know it can be done. A little more grace would have been appreciated so I didn't have to repair a damaged floor. He purchased some stain markers for me to help repair, but this won't remove the long dented scratches. Overall, I had to spend 3 hours cleaning up excess dust, wiping down walls, and repainting (rolling out) the walls to cover up new marks (and old marks) on the walls.

I called Beyond Exteriors right when they opened and they were at my house by 1 PM the same day to do urgent and temporary repairs including temporary supports and tarping. We had a huge rainstorm right afterwards and the interior of our structure stayed dry. they also worked very hard, were honest, thorough and charged a very fair and reasonable price. You can't ask for more in an emergency.

Since my first review of Beyond Exteriors, they have come back out and installed new windows…read morethroughout the house (while I was on deployment) and just today, they put the finishing touches on the restoration (almost a full rebuild) of a garage originally constructed in 1928! I say this tongue-in-cheek, but they're so damn good, neighbors keep coming to the front door to ask "who re-did your garage?" The project was literally just completed less than 24 hours ago and I've now met just about everyone in a several block radius of our garage. They did a beautiful job! My wife is already making a list of other projects we can give to Andrew and George!
