Beware!!!! Its laughable the name of this company. Before booking I told them I needed an adjustable base bed moved from upstairs and that it was very heavy. He said no problem, they do this all the time. He said he would bring a 3rd guy just in case. He stated they bring all the blankets/supplies for protection. I booked them. He has you Zelle his wife Christina. They were supposed to show up at 7:30 but didnt arrive until 8. He did communicate he was running late but blamed it on U-Haul. He showed up, was very nice and talkative. There was only him (Abe) and another guy. I asked where the third guy was and he said that there was no need that they could do it. They then took the mattress and had no cover for it so I had to find some plastic to use. Had he not said he had everything I would have made sure I had a proper mattress cover. Then they started moving the adjustable base. They damaged my floors and ceiling all the way down the stairs. The top of the stairs is completely dented in and the subsequent stairs are chipped beyond repair. He apologized profusely and kept saying "don't worry, I've got you, I'll get this fixed." He was extremely kind the whole time, he kept apologizing and kept promising how he was going to get it fixed. At the end, I ended up paying the entire fee with trust that he would come through on his word, his name is indeed Honest Abe. It all started out just fine, he messaged me the next day that he was working on getting someone to come. A date was set up, I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate when he could be here but low and behold he said that he needed to move the time to the next day. That night I found out that it needed to be postponed again. Since then he has not responded to any phone calls or text messages and it's been a couple weeks. This is extremely disappointing. For someone who calls himself honest please take a look at my summary: 1) Didn't show up at time HE set up 2) showed up with one less guy than stated. 3) didn't have the proper supplies as promised 4) Ruined 7 Stair Nose pieces 5) Chipped and dented my ceiling 6) Promised he would fix it. Sadly, Im not the first. There is another review on here that sounds extremely similar. Do not trust "honest abe"! read more

BEWARE‼ DO NOT USE THIS MOVNG COMPANY I was in contact with Ibrahim, the owner. He sounds nice, but don't be fooled. He is far from honest. He sent two inexperienced workers to help move my furniture. I have expensive furniture they completely damaged due to their carelessness and negligence (see attached pictures). They also did not hook up my washer and dryer properly. The gas nozzle that connects to the dryer was not tightened and caused a gas leak. Leading me to call the fire department to help assist me considering I have a small baby in my household. The water pipes connecting to the washer were not properly tightened as well, as when I turned the water on to use my washer water was sprayed all over my wash room. To add even more insult to injury I expressed my concerns to Ibrahim about the lack of experience his workers had in removing my door off the hinges to which he said was an "easy job" but when it came time to install the door back in place they were not able to do so. In addition, they do not have their own moving truck. They rent from U-Haul (undisclosed at the time I booked their services). They charge for the truck rental and per hour. What was supposed to be a 3 to possibly 4 hour job turned into an absolute nightmare ending in a 9 hour job. The movers got to my house without any wrap for my furniture. I had to ask them to buy wrap. The wrap they purchased was the cheapest wrap providing no protection for my furniture. They also did not have enough moving blankets to protect my big items from getting damaged in transit. I was in contact with Ibrahim from the beginning. I expressed my concerns to him and he kept assuring me they would take care of moving my furniture safely. That never happened. The movers arrived at 2 pm and did not finish the job until close to midnight. After telling Ibrahim of all the damages he said he would pay to get them repaired. He lied. The next day I called numerous times, also texted and he never responded. Days later, he still hasn't responded. Please think twice before using them to help you move. Response to owner (considering I've been blocked from adding another comment): Christina, Ibrahim Dababneh goes by Abe and is your husband. I Zelle'd him the deposit for this move. He's also on social media reflecting his full name and company name (see attached pictures). I did not get the wrong company. It is obvious your company does not want to take responsibility for the damages. Raul was one of the movers he sent to me along with Aaron. Raul is also mentioned in some of the reviews on yelp. It doesn't surprise me that you would lie and act like you did not work with me. It is a shame that you would use God's name in your response. Shame on you and your company. The company does not live up to its name. I would also like a refund for the deposit of $125.00. Please google this company. They are also on U-Hauls website as a listed moving company. We have used them multiple times and I will continue to use them. I highly recommend them. They have great rates and are very honest. NOW listen up people. IF you require ANY special requests, they will do it for you. If you want them to wear foot booties, they will. Now there is no vacuuming your house or dusting as they are not maids. They will pack up for you, put beds together, unpack, for an additional charge. I would Highly inform them the day you call for a quote NOT on the day you move. I had movers scheduled for a Monday morning and they cancelled Sunday night at 10:30pm. Abe came thru, he showed up Monday at 10am. Him and his partner were incredibly professional, communicative and FULL SERVICE! They went the extra mile to ensure my things were wrapped (everything was going into storage before a cross country move) and they took apart a complicated platform bed and ensured all parts were carefully secure for the move. Hired these guys to help me move. I don't have enough amazing things to say. They showed up on time ( which we all know, it can be questionable when it comes to most movers). We talked about the price prior to the move, originally the truck was 100$, however they charged me 75$ because I wasn't moving too far. They were super nice, friendly. Very quick, considering I had so many things and boxes. No breakage, everything went so smooth. Small move or big move this is your guy. I had a rather small move and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg to a major moving company. Abe made everything easy. Whenever I had a question, he would answer it and remind me that he had my back. There were two movers assigned to my move and it was an hourly rate that was very reasonable. My choice absolutely paid off because the 2 guys that arrived were great & kept in regular communication with me prior to their arrival. High praise to Trey & Toyon who worked tirelessly on foot moving my stuff from my apt to my new home approx. 20 yds away! I chose honest Abe moving because I read the reviews, which were all excellent well there's a reason they're all excellent. This company is amazing. When I first called to get information about having my daughter moved from one house to another, they talked me through everything. I gave them two dates because we didn't know when the house was going to be available. Well, unfortunately, the date we had to use was New Year's Eve. When I called and said oops, it's going to be New Year's Eve. Abe could not have been nicer. He assured me that the guys would be there that morning and get it done even though one of them had to get back to celebrate his son's birthday. What that meant that those men showed up at 9:30 and hit the ground running. it was a two-story townhouse and they must've gone up the down those stairs at least 40 times including getting a washer and dry dryer downstairs. Then they got the stuff that was downstairs. Then they got it all to the new house and unloaded it. They did it in a very timely fashion. Abe gave me a great price and I felt I really got value.
