I paid about $800 for the repair. After just under 2 months, the coolant was leaking again so I took the car back thinking that they'll fix it with minimal charge under warranty. NOT!! They wanted more money and said that the damage this time was unrelated and it will cost me another $300+ to fix it. I declined because I lost my trust to these guys. They still charged me almost $60 for just that. Good luck in your decision if you want to use this shop. They want repeat customers...in a negative way for me at least. No repeat here for sure..and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know.

I contacted Tools in Motion and they told me the brakes were under warranty but wanted to do an inspection. Upon inspection, they noticed a slide pin had not been properly lubricated and the brake pads got stuck in one position damaging several parts including the alloy wheel. Here is where it gets good. The mechanic said they refused to warranty it because and I quote "There is no way my service tech forgot to lubricate this" they charged me for the inspection But wait it gets better. I asked them to price out the parts to fix it, an hour later I hear back and they want 850 dollars using aftermarket parts. I priced the parts on the NAPA website and they came to 325 dollars. Will never use this garage again, after spending thousands of dollars on several cars they have the audacity to treat a good customer like this. Never again

Cons - Couldn't fix misfire problem with 2000 Civic. - Shop and office could be cleaner, but maybe that is a pro and part of the charm. Background on the Civic: I was having it serviced exclusively at W & B along with changing the oil myself. I started getting an occasional odd misfire when accelerating at low RPM. They changed some electrical components and it seemed fixed (or at least greatly improved) for a couple months, but then returned badly. After that they couldn't fix it. I went to another shop in frustration and they couldn't fix it either. I ended up trading in for a new car, even though the Civic had another 5-10 years left in it if that issue was fixed.

Every time I have a flat and need a tire repair, they've always gotten me in right away and gotten it fixed immediately. Sometimes at no-charge even! My most recent experience was today. On Saturday I got a flat tire in Madden, AB and had to get AMA to come change my tire. I tried to get into Canadian Tire to have them fix it, and they told me the hole was "Too big for the plug" and that I needed to buy a new tire. And they were going to charge me a fortune for it because I have 17" low-profile tires. I took it in to Don this morning and he had a look at it and was able to fix it. I ALWAYS recommend OK tire to my friends and colleagues when they ask me where a good place to buy tires is. Even if they live in Calgary, the quality of service is well worth it.

I overall had a terrible experience with this sad excuse for a mechanics shop today. The technicians are competent but the owner is a small greedy man. They truly wasted our entire day in the rudest way possible. And i recently found out Shahraz is not even a registered salesperson with AMVIC, and he has not been since 2021!! I had a tire blow out on the highway this morning and i got a temporary tire put on while i was in airdrie. The tire shop told me to get an alignment done because driving on the flat caused some damage. Shahraz told me they had an opening to do my alignment at 2pm, but they said if i drop the car off early they could finish it faster. I dropped the car off at 8:30am and didn't hear back from them until 3:30pm. They called and said they are not interested in actually doing the alignment because of the damage caused by driving on a flat tire. They also demanded 136$ cash to return my girlfriends van to me. If they knew beforehand they did not want to work on damaged cars they shouldn't have accepted the van for the alignment in the first place. I told him we needed the alignment done today to make it back to our city, because I couldn't drive with the damage and no alignment. (Its a 45 minute drive) He initially said it would be no problem, but when i told him I wasn't going to pay 136$ and not have any work done he said I had to pay in full, cash today, or he would keep the car. He said the reason he couldn't do the alignment is because i would somehow sue him for the damage on the car and blame him for the damage. I told him what happened prior and he listed some of the damages on the invoice, so this reasoning doesn't make sense to me. He said the $136 bill was for his time and labour. I asked him what he actually did since he didn't do the alignment and he said he printed the alignment report from his alignment machine and wrote the invoice. I think charging 136 for only writing the invoice and not actually doing work is insane. The most baffling part to me is that he would get into my face yelling about how he should've never touched this car and how trash it is when he never worked on it in the first place. If i could leave 0 stars i could. This is basically extortion. And it is an extremely shady way to operate a business. Next time, i will wait the extra 2 hours for an appointment at Kal tire. Update: my trusted mechanic has identified that the ball joint was not damaged or even warn out. Just the bushings on the lower control arm. Just to add another layer to the plot of incompetence at this shop. I will absolutely be filing with AMVIC and the better business bureau if not refunded because this is ridiculous

Well Scenic View Motors got me in right away for to take a look. After hours drop off was simple and secure. As promised they called me to explain & quote the repair. I was extremely impressed by the service and honesty all the way through the process. The repair was under $200 for the custom exhaust repair that too care of the noises. I took a car in because of starting problems. I assumed it was the remote starter causing the issues but was told the neutral safety switch went. And, the price is $448 plus an hour to install. Gasp! How much??!! I can buy the part online for about $150. The car has now been in the shop for 6 days but since they DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS, it has only been looked at a few times. I found out that they have not dedicated a tech to it, but have rather used the tech sparingly between other jobs. Not cool guys. Not cool at all. That's a poor business model.
