The Rising Sun guys said they'd find it. Well, the first time it was in with them they ended up declaring that it was the alternator, so we paid for a new alternator. In a couple, three months, we were back with the same problem. This time, they declared it was the starter. We paid for a new starter. Same thing happened. They weren't interested AT ALL when I called them to report. We finally just installed a battery kill switch and we've been on the same battery for a few years now. I'm really disappointed with Rising Sun.

Then I had them do a complete rear brake job. The work done was completely unsatisfactory. Big mess and brought it back seven times before i finally decided to take the time and do them myself. Each time I brought it back with an appointment Butch would blow it off for me to return at a later date because they're busy. Terrible business practice and can't seem to do basic Toyota drum brakes. Lackadaisical and poor business practice. Personally I don't trust this shop.

I wish I could leave a negative 1. My car went through a rushing road flood on June 20, 2023 in…read moreOcala. At the recommendation of the towing company (see photos below) they referred Shannons. It was POURING rain. Not a lot of choices. It was brought there and onloaded after great difficulty going onto the truck. The driver had never dealt with a Mercedes before. When it had arrived after dragging it on the truck, I left my 2018 C300 4 Matic Night Edition 71,000 miles (1 of 300 built in the world in 2018) with Shannon. They would evaluate and call me. I heard a couple days later. Engine was flooded with water and needed a new or rebuilt engine. Progressive opted to install a new engine. Fast forward to September 5 after picking up the car. It was not right. I brought it to my mechanic (Shannons is 1 1/2 hours away from my home). My mechanic found a broken engine mount and transmission mount. I called Shannon and spoke to the Owner. I asked why didn't you tell me. His answer, "Your car was on my lift. My lift time is costly. I couldn't wait for Progressive". This cost me out of pocket $1300. It could have been $600 if it was done while the engine was out of the car. While replacing the motor mounts it was found to have a broken axle (it was thought from the dragging onto the truck). Progressive did pay for that. Do not use Shannon. Maybe their lift time is more important than your vehicle also!!!
