Great service, friendly staff, quaint location, and terrific coffee - does it get any better than this?

It's always a good week when I can stop by Crema for their iced mocha. I like to think of myself as a bit of a mocha connoisseur, and Crema always delivers. The drink is rich without being overly sweet. The line usually moves quickly, and parking is not too bad, especially around late morning. The staff is friendly and the baristas know their craft. On weekends, I love taking advantage of the outdoor seating. There isn't much seating inside, but it's clean and kinda reminds me of nyc lol! read more

This is a little coffee shop that is in a nook by Dickerson Pike. It is definitely in a gentrified neighborhood. Not much seating, it was 2 tables outside and 3 chairs inside. It was quiet and quaint on the inside. I honestly liked how the inside wasn't perfect and it had patches of older brick. The inside was nice, just very small. Almost like a grab and go. I will say I've never had a tea or a muffin that has absolutely no taste. -I got honey in my tea but it was still pretty flavorless. -I'm not a fan of recyclable lids, cups etc. the tea was VERY hot and I could barely touch the lid or cup. -The blueberry muffin had like crystallized sugars on top but it had no flavor, I honestly felt like I was eating just a brain muffin. read more

An absolute gem of a local neighborhood coffee spot. Minimal frills, professional baristas, excellent espresso, and a short and sweet menu that's got all the things a caffeine addict needs. It's situated in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood and it's interior is cozy with minimal seating. A few barstools along the windows, some shelves with beans, brewing equipment, pre packaged snacks and a bit of merch, and of course that glorious espresso machine that's pumping out the caffeinated goodness that we all so desire. There are a few parking spots on the side and a few spots in the neighborhood along the street, so you should be able to stop by without much trouble there. There are a handful of tables on their patio for when you want to stop and enjoy your beverage and the weather is nice. In my opinion they're doing it right. They seem focused on the product and the place is tidy and has good customer service. I showed up during a bit of a rush and they were moving quickly and efficiently to keep the coffee flowing and the line moving. I had a cortado, and on my way out picked up their "La Fleuer", which is a vanilla/lavender latte. Both were excellent and I'd be happy to order either again. Overall this is a great spot if you're in the area and looking for top notch espresso drinks and you want easy parking and laid back vibes. Crema is one of my favorite coffee shops and in my opinion, one of the best tasting and flavorful coffee in Nashville. I got the special - I think it was the Lutito Latte: cinnamon and citrus latte with candied orange as garnish. The latte was so creamy and packed with flavors. Usually I'm skeptical about citrus lattes, but this was one of the top lattes I've had. It was not too sweet, which was perfect for me. The staff was awesome here! Great recommendations by the team. I also love that they made a "favorites/recommendations" list around Nashville. At first I thought it was just places that serve Crema coffee, but the staff told me it's places they love. There is no indoor seating :( because it's a small spot, but there are some seating with chairs and tables outside. read more

It's Crema so I'm not sure what else I can say that hasn't already been said. I hadn't been to their takeaway location in East so I decided to stop in for an iced Cuban (duh!) before heading to my next stop. It's called their takeaway location for a reason as there is very limited seating. You can order their full menu and thus houses their actual roastery! A couple of barstools inside and tables outside, friendly baristas, and best of the best coffee. This location lives up to the Crema standard us Nashvillians have come to expect! read more

This is definitely a convenient location and Crema is my favorite coffee chain in town. I typically don't leave reviews, but when I stopped by this morning, I left feeling super disappointed. I order my lattes at a lower temperature. I usually have no worry doing so at Crema because I trust the baristas. But this morning I watched the barista temp the milk, pour a little out, then pour in cold milk to bring the temperature down. I would have much rather them said - hey this is a little warmer than you ordered, rather than lessen the quality of the drink. I would have been totally okay. This won't deter me still loving Crema, but to say I was disappointed in this visit is accurate. read more

We were recently in town with a big group of 8 people for a bachelor/bachelorette trip. We decided to try this coffee shop because it was within walking distance of our Airbnb. Immediately when we walked in all 3 of the workers seemed to feel inconvenienced by us being there and did not greet us. We even overhead one of the girls say "they can wait". I understand we were a large group in a small coffee shop but not once did we complain or have any issue with waiting. The customer service alone would be zero stars. It was incredibly uncomfortable standing there waiting for our coffees. With that being said, I do have to say we all really enjoyed our coffees. A few of our friends ordered pastries including croissants and blueberry muffins and liked those as well. (They did not offer to heat up the pastries but this could just be their norm). This rating is 90% due to the terrible customer service. If I was rating based off of food and coffee alone it would be closer to 4-5 starts. read more

I Love this Crema too! The staff knows me by name. The service is on Que ! They are always friendly and greeting you with a smile! I tired two different lattes last week. They were impressed cause I usually drink coffee with extra hot steamed almond milk! I Love this place. You can't go wrong @ Nashville location or the Brentwood one! read more

While this is an adorable little neighborhood coffee shop, it's sure in a precarious location. It didn't feel exactly the safest, but looks like the are is getting gentrified. It was dead empty when I arrived. There were a few tables set up outside. The bakery case was nearly empty. But nevertheless, I got a blueberry muffin and a coffee. The coffee tasted very bitter to me. The muffin was good, but they needed more stuff here. If it's that dead all the time though, I can see why they don't keep their stuff stocked. I hope that changes in the future. read more

Popped into this shop for a morning coffee and was delighted no one else was around. Maybe it's because it's the most unassuming location over in East, maybe not. The staff were delightful and shared a bit about the menu and breakfast pastries-very helpful. The coffee was good, it was decent, nothing exceptional and nothing to complain about. I enjoyed the outdoor patio but was curious about the inside of the coffee shop. Looks like they were either broken into or haven't had a chance to really fix it up, as the wall had missing bricks and holes. It could just be part of the charm. ‍ If this is conveniently located for you, might as well pop in and see what's on the speciality menu for a caffeine pick-me-up. read more

I was in town for a couple days, and almost went to Crema every morning. I am not someone who needs to drink coffee every morning, but I do enjoy a latte or an iced coffee once in a while. Crema is so, so, so delicious that after my first cup, I had to grab a drink almost everyday. My favorite drink was the Cuban- anything with condensed milk is a winner- iced and with oat milk. It was so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. I think this cup of coffee might be the thing I miss most about Nashville. While I was there, they were doing curbside pickup only, but their website says they'll reopen soon. But curbside pickup was a super easy ordering process. Order online and pull into one of their parking spots. Text them which spot you're in, and within 5 min, they'll have your drink prepared and delivered to your car. read more

I'll be honest, not as good as the original location. Drinks weren't bad but they weren't up to what you can expect at the main location.

If I could give it SIX stars, I would. So thrilled this location opened up on the east side. While the original Crema is always a staple, this is a great substitute for a quicker, classic Crema experience. It's unfortunate someone could leave a 1 star review thinking they would host a business meeting here when that is clearly not the intention of this space. Shame. Quality coffee! I got the Peregrino- an iced pumpkin coffee (seasonal item) and def enjoyed it. Higher quality ingredients than what you get at Starbucks or Dunkin, not so sickeningly sweet. Great coffee and espresso. The coffee soda caught me by surprise and became my new obsession. Quick and friendly service. Hipster vibes, people seem to like staying and chatting on their patio furniture out front. I have always been in and out myself. This latte is the best latte I've had in forever. I spent 10 minutes contemplating whether to get the apiary or a latte-- and when I asked if I could get a hot latte with the apiary syrup, the barista warned that the mint doesn't come through as much. I love honey so I decided it was worth trying, and they went out of the way to put mint leaves in it for me! Result? Very happy human. I 100% recommend this place for a quality latte. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My colleagues and I stopped by this location to grab some breakfast, coffee, and have a meeting. We arrived to find they don't have a BATHROOM, and no WiFi. Of all the things missing from this experience, the worst was by far the hospitality (or lack there of) from the pretentious male barista who was clearly annoyed we were there. If you're used to the other CREMA locations, do NOT waste your time on this one. I can't imagine how they could be connected but must be. read more
