Honest Greens was a recommendation from a friend who had lived in Barcelona for a few months for work. She basically said it was a chain, but it's a damn good chain. We stopped into this location for a quick lunch after our morning visit to Sagrada Familia. It was close to a few shops that I had wanted to visit, so it worked out perfectly. You order at the counter and then find a table. They'll bring it to your table when your food is ready. I had the salmon plate with green salad and grain salad. I also had a side of the spicy grilled halloumi. The halloumi wasn't spicy at all, but it was very tasty. The salmon was cooked perfectly! Very moist and super flavorful. My FAVORITE restaurant in Barcelona for so many reasons. I first tried Honest Greens in Madrid and fell in love with the food and vibe. The food is fresh and clean which is something I love to see. There are many different options and they're all health conscious. The menu changes seasonally and I love that because there's always a different variety. They have entrées, apps, a cafe, and pastries so you have many options to chose from. The food is such a good price for the quality and quantity that you're getting. The service has always been excellent every-time I've been. The employees are friendly and welcoming and food always comes out quickly! The vibe of Honest Greens is also amazing because it's open with lots of seating options including couches. You can meet for coffee with a friend, have a meal with someone, or even go to work on your laptop. I will say the wifi usage is limited to an hour but that's normal in restaurants and cafes. This review is for the facility in Westridge mall near @22. It is a concept food place. You must have been bought into the idea before you try the food. The decor, the food, the choices are exotic. The food actually tasted good and kept us full for a very lomg time. That is the hall mark of real (honest?) food to me. There is a nice balance in ingredients. You end up feeling guilt free.
