Hello Yelpers! I'm giving a rare 5 stars on this one, because this place seems to genuinely care about its customers. If you're patient with them, and honest... hey, that's what you get back I guess. Its not the most modern or bright venue, and they could maybe use a remodel, but after having battery problems, and taking it back, I'm pleased by how they treated me. Specifically, we had a new battery fail after 6 months or so. They tested it, and tested it, and although it showed signs of possible use, the battery just wasn't good enough for them to send me away with, so they gave me the free replacement under warranty. It was worth the wait, and the hassle. Either way, they have a lot to offer under that one little old roof! Parts, Expertise, Batteries, Fluids, and a Machine Shop if you need resurfacing, head work, etc. Not Too Shabby!!! Thanks Jack's! read more

The auto parts is good 5 rating just trying to warning other people about this mechanic next door. i tell you what happen just this fri(1/22/20) i went here sometime for oil but some reason that day have to fix my brake and rotors he fix it when i came back told me to buy a caliper coz it's broken they can't put my brake on the passenger side and ik that coz I already told them my brother trying to put the brake he can't do it he just put the old one in oneside the other new, and i did told the mechanic that 1pcs in the passenger side need to change the brake, me and my brother have different day off that's why i came here instead and of course I bought what they told me they put it in the new caliper after it's done he came told me have loose brake when his done test driving it i said ok and i was about to drive home but when i drive my car it's like driving it without a brake so i came back and he said that i need a new master brake i told him that i came there my brake was fine, now getting suspicious i call my brother coz he know how to fix car but he was bc that's why i went here then my brother told the mechanic if he drain the brake fluid he said yes when he did not when he test drive it i have a pic that's it's black the master brake that he keep telling me to buy new one i let my brother talk to him told him that he need to drain all of it, so he said come back tomorrow and leave my car there but my brother said don't leave your car coz it's not safe. I came back next morning he told me to come at 11 now he tell me comeback at 3 coz his bc so i cameback at 3 he drain everything but still same i went home disappointed told my brother still same loose brake. My brother said his gonna fix it i even call in for work i was trying to avoid that we bought what he said the master brake he put in still loose brake, my brother check the caliper that mechanic change he saw that caliper is wrong he f****** put a driver side caliper instead of a passenger caliper i was so mad and he did not even give me the receipt i call the mf up i let him talk to my brother he told him off that he need to call the auto zone where he got that and this ** give me a old caliper and rusty too ( they swap it with this commercial guy that deliver it) when my brother told me that u can see the difference from the new one that I exchange to the autozone. I tried to call again to get my money back he never answer my call now. I told that auto zone he need to close that mechanic shop down. I even told that mechanic that are you trying to make me have an accident i have kids too riding..i almost have an accident the other day coz of my brake.. read more

i started going to honest jacks with my grandfather when i was a kid. grampa used to joke that they must steal he parts because they were so cheap. when i had a shop i found that they were very reasonable prices when its hard to get or a expensive part i always call them i live in Arlington and make the trip on expensive parts in fact back when shucks had their beat anyone's price by 5% guarantee i drove them batshit crazy. they would quote me $400 for a clutch kit jacks would offer the same part for less than half. it saved me the long drive until shucks barred me from the store lol i wish they were closer read more

Re the 1-star review about "they broke my water pump": Jack's doesn't do that kind of work, they're an auto parts shop, not a garage/repair shop. So, bogus or wrong place. I've gone to Jack's for years, and they always take good care of me. The latest was getting a new battery: Jack himself came out to the parking lot to help me, because one of the clamp bolts was corroded and needed replacing (not their responsibility, but he was glad to help). It took at least 20 minutes of tricky work to get that done. I'm an engineer, and I didn't want to try it at home, glad Jack was around to do it right. I've bought a lot of parts and used their machine shop many times over the years, and never had a bad experience. read more

NOT just an auto parts store. Also a full service machine shop that seems to be open 7 days a week. If they can, they'll do the work while you wait, and it's very reasonably priced. Their parts, judging from the few I've bought, are well priced too. But they know their stuff and really hustle to serve you and not waste your time. These guys are THIEFS I took in my truck to remove the water pump and they BROKE my water pump AND the fan attached to it and had the NERVE to charge me for the labor!? And then wanted to sell me a new water pump and fan? Out right thiefs I will be contacting consumer protection. read more
