I took my 1999 Jeep into this shop to have the rear differential (Dana 35) worked on. The work order also included redoing the rear brakes, specific axles, replacing the limited slip unit, seals and outer roller bearings. Two months later the limited slip unit, (commonly called a "lunchbox locker") detonated and rendered the vehicle completely unusable as it was stripped out and shattered. I immediately called them, they did send a tow truck out within half an hour or so to take it back to their shop to repair the repair. This meant replacing that locker with a stock unit, which I did agree to. Another month has gone by, a few days ago the rear differential started making a lot of noise, presumably from the left side brake drum. Grinding, squeaking and suchlike. I took it upon myself to remove the wheel and drum to look at the brake assembly. What I found what a totally mis-assembled brake system, and the axle was made in India, which is not the brand I had agreed to. This repair cost nearly $4000.00 and is quite unsatisfactory. I completed an Uber Inspection in September 2021, which went good, but Hiline did not meet the paperwork to King County, so now I have to get another inspection. I will try to get my money back, and if they do not return it, I'll write another lousy review and suggest that Uber drivers go somewhere else. Today I tried to talk to the owner to resolve the situation, who kept overtaking me, rude, and hung up. I called back to get my money back, and another worker started cursing me out, so I hung up. Last Friday, I come to ask for my vehicle inspection and the guy at the counter told me to come back next Monday morning to get inspection, no need to schedule appointment. When I get there on Monday morning, I met the same guy and he was using the PC surfing the web while he asked him for the service again. Then He asked me back what vehicle inspection it is without even turning his back to look at me. I nicely told him that I want to drive Uber, and Uber referred me to his place, then he responded that he don't do it and just starred at the Pc screen. Mike and his crews are very professional, honest, friendly, polite, helpful and the price is extremely fair. I could not find a local auto mechanic like this wonderful and amazing auto shop in Burien. Mike got by exhaust systems, recharged A/C, and checked all appropriate parts of my car that needed to be checked. I am extremely happy that his shop got these repairs done just in less than 1 hour (the same day, 8/17 dropped off at 8:30 am). My appointment was scheduled for next Tuesday, 8/21, but my car was ready at noon about 1:30 pm on 8/17. Please keep up the great work that you have been doing. I've taken my car here twice for the same issue. They said the diagnostic that was run didn't show anything wrong with my car although it would die when I stopped. The second time I had brought my car in they replaced a part and stated it should be fine but within 15min of driving my car from the shop it started to jerk forward, something that it hadn't done before. Once I got home safely I called them and talked to someone about the new issue and he told me he didn't know what was done because he was gone and didn't work on my car. Upon asking him if I should bring it back since a new problem occurred he told me no and to just bring it in the next time it dies. I'm not going back there.
