Best Wings in jamestown and the service was good price not to bad definitely worth trying the wings

Updated review! May 2024 4.5 star! YUMMY! Super friendly staff that are attentive, helpful, and fast. Amazing pizza buffet,penne pasta, stuffed pepper soup, salad bar, dessert pizza, and wing refill. Everything was delicious! Only slight thing was the first batch of wings that were in the buffet were on the drier sauce side and softer side when we first got there. I asked for Buffalo sauce they gave me to dip in which was so good! This is only a preference thing on my end. They had a great flavor though and 5 minutes after we got there they were replaced with absolutely perfect saucier hotter crisper wings we went nuts over. Such perfect wings! I highly recommend the buffet. Perfectly priced buffet value. I hadn't been there in over 3 years because of a bad takeout experience with teenagers running it. I think it was a fluke experience. I'm so glad I stopped back in because the staff were perfect this time. The pizza was so much better this time too. I couldn't be happier. It was a Monday night and most pizza places were closed or almost closed in western Chautauqua County. Ordered up a large sausage pizza and on a gamble, a big order of medium chicken wings. Y'all.... This was one of the best meals I've ever had. The pizza sauce to cheese ratio was one of the best I've ever seen, and while the chicken wing sauce smelled like it could burn a hole through your stomach was an absolute delight, a little heat but full of flavor. We drove almost an hour to get to this place and we get here at 9:20 and it says they close at 10pm and we came specifically for the buffet and we were told it was closed but online it said 10pm. We have eaten at the buffet late before. It's completely ridiculous that online it says 10pm but we drive an hour here and are told they are closed. read more

I finally tried Honest Johns Lakewood and was very pleased. I used the online ordering option which was easy to use It told me 45 minutes for delivery when I ordered and the driver showed up in 30 minutes. The food arrived so fast we actually had to let it cool down before we could eat it . The pizza had a generous amount of cheese on it and was delicious and the wings were crispy as reqested. We went and ate there last week. We had their pizza buffet. We were highly disappointed! They only had 2 pizzas on the buffet, and they charged us $9.99 per person! Add in a drink and some pizza logs and we spent $40 for 3 people. CiCi's Pizza Buffet isn't in Jamestown, but if it was it would completely clean up! We will never go back. Not being from Jamestown my search for a lunch spot was overly satisfied when I stumbled upon honest johns. I have to say the sign on the side of the building saying lunch buffet is what pulled me in. Once I picked the table I saw the actual buffet. To my disbelief was quite impressive to say the least. They set out a great spread for lunch!!!! The options ranged from 2 always changing different types of pizza to mashed potatoes to spaghetti with meat sauce and that's just the beginning!!!! I have to say I was expecting slow mom existent service and near tasteless food but the product I received was the exact opposite!! The pizza is great and the waitress was very attentive but not too attentive perfect combination. I've driven by this place on and off for over 7 years now and never knew it existed. All I can say to that is keep your eyes peeled for this place. They are sure to see me again soon that's for sure!! read more

Food is pretty good..except me and my partner..we're treated quite poorly by the wait staff when another customer complained about my fiance kissing me on the cheek. I have grown up at Honest John's. My parents used to order from home and the bring us in to a waiting table of food when we were little (other parents, take note!), I had my own 1st grade birthday party here along with many other gatherings, and this is the most frequent choice for my family. The pizza alone is the taste I am looking for even though I don't even live in Jamestown anymore. I like the buttery tasty of their crust the most when it gets that golden brown finish. We always order vegetarian pizzas so I can't comment on the meat toppings, but the veggies taste fresh and there are plenty on top. I like that they are diced so you get a lot of coverage area of them all over the pizza. Sauce is not too sweet. My parents have said for a few orders in the last couple of years, the crust was a little doughy, but they haven't had that problem as often lately. If you eat in, get the buffet. For the price at lunch or dinner, it is worth it. They have at least 2 or 3 pizza choices, sides like baked chicken, pastas, THE MINI SUBS (I can taste them now!), the salad bar, and I believe you can choose for a nominal fee to get a portion of wings. Don't forget the mini ice cream sundae at the end! I really like their wings as well. They have a good traditional buffalo sauce that has some flavor. Even with the mild, at least they don't taste like they dunked them in butter and only put a smidge of hot sauce on. Haven't had them a lot recently, but never have had an issue. We got two buckets of them for my HS graduation party back in the day, yum! The service is also really good. I haven't lived full time in Jamestown for nearly 10 years, and Anna always remembers me. They usually have some coupons out, or have a deal on one of the school district savings cards. Rarely have had delivery because we don't live too far away, but they are prompt at getting orders out. My wife & I live in Warren, PA which is only a 30 minute or so drive away. Normally we stick around the Lakewood area to shop and eat. My wife was checking out a new phone book that came in the mail and she noticed an ad for Honest John's Pizzeria. She mentioned the buffet and the reasonable price so I said let's give it a try. No, it isn't in the most glamorous section of town, but what it lacks in location (close to Jamestown Community College) it more than makes up for with the service and food. We were there shortly after they opened, 11 am, and asked about the buffet. Nancy, our server, told us to have a seat and start with the small, but very adequate, salad bar since the pizzas were in the oven. Everything at the salad bar was very fresh. We finished our salad just as the first pepperoni pizza came out. Delicious! The pizza dough was some of the best we've had! A different pizza arrived shortly after. Out came chicken wings. Very tasty. Several more items came out that were based on that great home made dough. My wife & I couldn't believe how good everything tasted. We were getting full when out came the dessert pizza. Apple. It made the dessert pizza they have at Pizza Hut seem like a joke. By now we were really full and Nancy came and asked us how we wanted our ice cream. We just looked at each other. We decided to get the chocolate sundae with whipped cream and sprinkles. Yes it was a small dish, but we never expected anything like that. I then looked up and something else was being brought out to the buffet. It was sugar and cinnamon bites with that home made dough. OMG were those good! I was able to have a couple and we decided next time we would arrive a little later and see all they have to offer at once.
