Unfortunately, when we arrived during the posted business hours (both on Google and at the location), the booth was closed. We weren't the only ones -- at least seven other patrons were waiting and left disappointed as well. It was frustrating to see so many people looking forward to enjoying Enrique's, only to find it closed without notice. This kind of inconsistency feels like poor business practice, and it left us very let down. We truly hope Enrique's can improve communication with customers, because the food has always been worth the trip -- but experiences like this make it hard to recommend right now.

It's just a quick exit off I-90 and practically on the lake -- super convenient whether you're heading to Niagara Falls or traveling back toward Pennsylvania or Ohio. They source as locally as possible, with their perch and other fresh fish coming straight from the fish market across the street. I had a hand-patted juicy beef burger topped with their homemade chili -- delicious. The curly fries are made in-house: they take a whole potato, spiralize it on the spot, and fry it fresh. They were outstanding! The owner also makes all the pies in-house, and everything we tried was super fresh. We also got a small side of guacamole ($6.50) to enjoy with our complementary chips with salsa. First, the chips with salsa. The chips were very good, on the thicker side and slightly salted. The salsa had a rich tomato flavor with a few chunks of jalapeño, but the salsa could have been generally a little spicier for my taste - maybe more jalapeño? The guacamole was mostly smooth with a few chunks, and was tasty. I enjoyed my fish fajitas. A piece of fish, salmon and 6 small shrimp cooked with a decent amount of grilled green pepper and onion. Nice portion ($16.75) and came with a large separate plate with pico, guac, refried beans, rice, lettuce and sour cream. Three flour tortillas accompanied the dish. The carne asada ($13.99) came with two nice sized pieces of grilled beef, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños and mushrooms. Also came with the rice, refried beans and other sides, including the flour tortillas. My partner found the carne to be slightly tough, but flavorful. Service was good. When we sat, the server soon brought over the chips and salsa and our food came fairly quickly after we ordered. We had to ask to have our empty water glasses filled, although the server did come over twice (when our glasses weren't yet empty) during our meal to ask if we wanted anything. The restaurant is small and not fancy. The prices overall look reasonable and I think there are options to try different things here, based on the extensive menu.
