    Dry Manchurian

I wanted to love this place so badly. It is SO NICE to be able to look at a whole menu as a vegetarian and know that you can just pick anything you want, and I loved the variety offered. I wanted to love it so badly that I reordered four times. (Two of the four times I got horrendously sick. Now, the other three folks in my family ate the same dishes and they were TOTALLY fine. This is NOT a foodbourne illness problem. I was just unfortunately very sensitive to something those two trips and thus tried to vary what I got each time.) On to the dishes. The dabang dosa was not my favorite. I personally don't like green bell peppers and found it to be too overpowering. My son that likes green bell peppers found it refreshing and a fun mix of textures. The plain cheese dosa we all liked, it was a funky little chewy guy that we all thoroughly enjoyed, and the chutneys were delicious. The veg pakora was bitter. Extremely bitter. No idea why. We're fat, we ate it anyway. The kofta curry was my favorite. I liked the texture and flavor of the kofta alone but the curry was also rich, flavorful, and memorable. This was teenager and 6 year old approved! Runner up is the dry manchurian which was a textural delight and had a good punch of flavor. We had the paneer tikka masala but I don't remember it. I was hoping for more from the samosa chaat. We stuck to garlic naan and it was average. It worked but was nothing to write about. I'm sure I will end up staring at this menu again with hope and try again. I would reorder the kofta for sure, I would probably still go for a dosa. We just have too many great Indian restaurants in the area, and for now, this one is just not my favorite.

The signs confused me outside, but they showed a menu next to the door. As soon as I was seated in my own booth- I was given a copper (?) pitcher and a cup of water. I am not sure if it was copper but the water out of it tasted good. I just wanted something cheap to hold me over so I went with soup. However, the waiter suggested garlic naan and I went for it... the other suggestions I said "no". The bowl of Manchow soup was black bean soup with more ingredients and spice than I expected. I am glad to have ordered naan as a palate cleanser. This restaurant is nicer than I expected and less expensive. This can be a great find for an evening Indian dinner.

Honest Restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. The interior has a modern and welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted immediately by Varun. He guided us through ordering and later even gave us tips on how to incorporate the sauces while eating. Every bite we had was delicious! The kitchen staff did a great job! We've had Indian food at many restaurants, but never before like this. I appreciated the different types of Indian foods they offer that are not typical at other restaurants. We felt the portions were large and prices were reasonable. We will definitely come back. We have a lot more we want to try on the menu.

I decided to pop in this newer Indian restaurant on a cold, rainy Autumn evening. It's tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. Everything here is vegetarian. The restaurant was bright and very clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They have counter service for takeout or table service if you're dining in. What's different about this restaurant is they also have an ice cream cooler with about 10 unique flavors. Also available are bags of Indian salty snacks to go, and a refrigerated case full of juice, and freshly made lassi. I ordered manchow soup, which is really hard to describe. The closest thing I can think of is like a hot chili oil soup with some finely chopped vegetables. It comes with some crispy noodles to add on. I also ordered butter paratha, which is a multi layered wheat flaky bread. It is great for sopping up delicious sauces. For my main entrée, I got the paneer tikka masala that came with plain white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious! The menu is so big and I'm looking forward to trying many more things on my next visit.

This is a nice addition to St Peters. Everyone was very friendly. The food was great! Really nice interior, but the music was a tad loud. I loved the Palak Paneer and garlic naan. The Mushroom masala was really tasty and something different that I haven't noticed at other places. The Dabang dosa were so good! They did not skimp on the cheese, so it was a lot for two people. Each dipping sauce was unique. I forgot to take more photos before we dug in!

Wow. Some delicious choices. Well flavored. Many vegetarian choices. Actually seems to be majority vegetarian. Seems authentic and not Americanized.

Dosa, but not sure which one. Doesn't matter it was delicious.

HONESTLY! Go here!!! Okay, that was corny but for real. So so tasty. Great variety on the menu. We aren't vegetarian but this had so many options and flavors that we didn't miss the meat. Everything was hot and had distinct flavors. Will definitely return to try more.

My family went to Honest Restaurant for lunch. I searched "vegetarian" near me on Yelp and Honest was at the top of the list. What a terrific recommendation! The service was great AND the food was beyond delicious. I ordered the Dabang Dosa based on the recommendation of our server. Wow! So good. We also had garlic naan, paneer butter masala and sezchwan noodles. All were so flavorful. The menu is vast and varied and that's exciting - gives us something to look forward to on our next visit.

Very good menu choice. The girl working the front counter was cute. The food smelled amazing.

I noticed that a lot of people of Indian descent occupy most of the tables and that is always a good sign that the food is authentic. I really enjoy the tandoori shrimp, the butter chicken, tikka masala, and egg noodles. The garlic naan comes in regular and spicy and I highly recommend both. It is an excellent reason to eat carbs!

My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a bit of everything. While everything tasted good, it was overwhelmingly spicy. Other than my friends' kids, we all can usually handle spicy foods, but even the Level 1 spicy was difficult to continue eating. I don't think they got their spice levels right; the level 1 and level 2 Tikka masala tasted the same, yet the heat felt more like a level 4. My friends spent nearly $80 on their meals for themselves and their kids, but the only ting they could manage to eat was the naan. I gave them a rating of 3 not only because the confusing spice levels, but mostly because the service was okay. We ordered Long Island Iced tea, but our server completely forgot about it and eventually brought it to us after our food came out with all the ice melted. With all the spice we're eating, I also would think they would be a bit more attentive with refilling our drinks, too. If you enjoy spicy foods, I definitely recommend this spot. The food was good, just way too spicy. However, definitely not for kids, and if you can't handle a bit of spice, then this is not the place for you either.

This is a delicious sit-down, full-service restaurant for Wildwood to have. We throughly enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken and the Paneer Tikka Masala. Both were flavorful and tasted very fresh and vibrant. Our server was attentive and friendly despite having other tables and assisting with takeout and answering phones. Mint & Martini has a full bar with an emphasis on allocated bourbon. The atmosphere is upscale with modern décor. The restaurant space itself is huge and can accommodate large reservations and parties easily. There's a very nice patio with an outdoor bar perfect for summertime and will be even better when the weather is less hot during Spring and Fall. We will continue to choose Mint & Martini for dinner out in West St. Louis County.

We've been to a number of restaurants over the years that specialize in Indian cuisine. I had read…read moreabout Mint & Martini and added it to my list of places I want to go to. I made a reservation, but when we got there, it was so empty and toldwasn't necessary to have a reservation. We were there at 7:00 on a Saturday night and there were only eight other diners in the huge restaurant and I believe there were four outside. We were seated right away and then menus were brought over. They have an extensive cocktail/beverage menu and a separate food menu that was also rather large. We ordered our martinis and started on the food menu. We ended up ordering way too much food! I had the French Martini and do not recommend it. I had a Lemon Drop Martini after that and it was good. My husband had two Dirty Martinis and liked them. We started with the Samosa Chaat and it was good! It was actually the food we liked best. We ordered some Butter Naan but there was very little butter. We asked the server what his favorite entrees were and he mentioned one of the things I had been looking out, so I ordered it. Then he tells me one diner had complained that it was too chewy. I think he expected me to change my mind. I did not, but wish I had. I had the Lamb Roganjosh. The flavor was good, but the lamb was very chewy because it was full of fat. I have never had an Indian lamb dish that had lamb like that in it. My husband had Goat Bhutan Masala. He said it was okay. It did say it was bone-in goat, but the bones were tiny and hard to find until they were in his mouth. My husband had looked up their menu online and had seen fried jalapeños on it, but they weren't on the menu. They made some for him anyway and they were so hot, they were inedible. We were taken care of by three different people and they were all great! The space inside is huge and the patio probably doubles the seating they have inside. There were ten of us in the restaurant for a while and I think only six more came in before we left at 8:30. They are open from 11:00 AM until midnight. They have live music in Saturdays, but not the Saturday we were there. There are a some Indian restaurants in the area that we really like, so I don't think we'll be back.

You can place your order online or at the walk up counter. There were several people in front of me, but the line moved fast. The menu is on the board behind the counter and you can see some of the fresh items displayed. There are some tables inside the restaurant if you decide to stay. It seems that the majority of the people ordered takeout. I ordered the onion pakoda, which is similar to onion straws, and it was a huge serving, enough for 2-4 people. It was served warm and crispy. The onions were sweet and the fried batter had good flavor. I tried the weekend special, which were 3 vegetarian choices out of 5-6: Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala and Eggplant curry. Rice or naan does not come with it. It costs extra. The garlic naan was fresh and flavorful. The Palak Paneer was adequate, mildly spiced, and about what I expected. The paneer butter masala was well-spiced and had a slight capsaicin kick. The eggplant curry was absolutely delicious and rather spicy. I'm glad I had a drink close by. This was a very good value as I had enough leftover for another meal.
