He's cleaned and wiped off grease and gunk left by other garages, wiped off his greasy handprints (lol because he knows that's a pet peeve of mine on my white jeep) and been there when no one else would work on my car. Sundays? No problem! After business hours? No problem! Scheduling me during a holiday weekend so I can save my vacation days? No problem! If you're taking your business elsewhere, you're simply nuts. And worst of all? You're throwing good money away. My rear main seal requires him to drop my transmission! That's a huge job! Elsewhere it would've cost me just that job alone over $5k! On a jeep? Definitely! You won't find a more honest, down-to-earth, kind-hearted, hard working mechanic anywhere around with such a flexible schedule. Flexibility in other shops are limited but the owner's reluctance to pay their mechanics for working hours outside of their business hours. Erik IS THE BUSINESS OWNER and THE MECHANIC, so he has the flexibility to work WHEN he wants! And often enough, he's kind enough to move those hours around to fit people like me in.
