No one showed up, no follow up, no text, no phone message. I called to follow up and the woman in the office said that the tech had knocked on my door and no one answered, so he left. FALSE: Both my wife and I work at home full time, have video security, and no one ever showed up. I was rescheduled for today, July 8, 2020. Again, no show, no text, no followup. I got a call from the woman in the office that the owner, Jamie, showed up at the house, knocked and no one answered. FALSE. Again, both of us were home all day. I called the "missed number" on my phone (which came up as unlisted/unknown..... you'd think they'd have enough sense to make sure that their business phone numbers were lined up with their business name!) and was connected with Jamie, the owner. I asked him when he was at my house today, and he relied that has never been to my house. I asked him why the woman keeps telling me he was there and he said he doesn't know but he tried calling me and I "didn't pick up the line". I told him I was probably in the bathroom and I asked him why he didn't leave a message or text me............ and this was his reply: Jamie: "I'm like Comcast. If you have an appointment and I call and you don't pick up the line, I don't show up." I told him that was pretty poor practice, not leaving a message, texting, or anything. The conversation devolved, and I take 50% responsibility for that. However, I am the frustrated customer who was NO SHOWED twice so I think I had a legitimate complaint. So Jamie said that he's actually happy I called him because "now he knows he doesn't want to do my repair anyway". Pretty sorry in my opinion. Well, at least now you readers and I know about my ill fated experience with Jamie and RV "Fast Fix"........ Since all these mistakes were made on their side, I don't know why I got treated so rotten across the board.

I hired them last year to install wiring, breaker and a NEMA 14-50 plug for charging my new Tesla…read moreModel Y with the mobile charger. They came, did the work and all looked good. Six months later I started getting overheating errors at the plug and charging automatically drops voltage for protection. After a few times of this happening I decided to look at the plug to see if there were loose connections at the plug. The connections seemed to be not tight enough so I tightened them a bit more (I understand that they should be torqued so I didn't over tighten the connections). This seemed to have worked until it started to happen again seven months later. Decided to replace outlet with one recommended for EV charging and when I compared both plugs there was a huge difference in size. The one I ordered was industrial grade and was even marked for EV charging. Now they knew this job was for an EV charger and I don't understand why they installed a regular kitchen range NEMA 14-50, those cannot handle the duty cycle demanded by EVs. Perhaps they were not experienced enough on EV chargers. Needless to say, it now works fine and safely with the new plug.

After comparing with other companies, Velocity's quote came in significantly lower--nearly $18,000 less than one well-known competitor--which immediately stood out. Nick even came back a second time at my request to inspect the attic and evaluate the ducting system. I truly appreciated his honesty--he clearly explained what needed to be repaired and what didn't need replacement, which gave me a lot of confidence in moving forward. Despite a few minor installation issues, the team handled everything well and ultimately did a great job. Their professionalism and integrity really made a difference. I called Velocity flow because my AC went out after less than 2 years. They scheduled an…read moreappointment the following day between 11-12 and nobody showed up and no phone call. I called them about 12:30 and they said the person was just finishing up and would be at our house soon. I had a 1:30 dr appointment and I had to cancel. About 2pm i called and they said he would be at my house about 4pm. He showed about 3:40pm. The part was covered by Trane and the technician said he called Nick and he was supposed to charge me $275. I then called Nick and he said he would charge me $215. I said what is your service call charge and he said $125. The tech took maybe 10 minutes to fix the AC. Apparently they don't have set pricing. Stay away from this company. I will be looking for another AC company that is certified by Trane.
