Loooved this acai bowl place! They're located in Blossom Market Hall. We got a 24 oz bowl for $16 and it was enough to share between two. I chose an acai / coconut base, with chia pudding. Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! I dunno I have a habit of finding something I like and trying all the places around to find my fav local spot. First is the bowls they use (THE BOWLS WHAT?!) yea the bowls. The bowls are not these little cylinder cups but a wide open bowl so you can spoon through all the ingredients you add. I hate small bowls where I have to dig through layers and layers to get something. And well the Base, like Nicki Minaj says that super BASE. They got the variety I usually go with Acai and Dragonfruit (you can choose as many as you want) but Mango is also very good. I love me a good acai bowl, so when I stopped by this little food hall, I had to try this place. I got the smallest size, which I believe was 16oz, which was more than enough to fill me. Their topping selection does seem smaller than other places I visited, but I'm usually a plain acai type of person, so as long as they have a good granola selection, that's all that matters to me. I ended up getting the acai base with granola, strawberry and peanut butter. I was surprised to see that they add the peanut butter layer between the base and the other toppings since I usually see that being added to the top. I didn't have a problem with that though because I was able to taste the peanut butter a lot more that way. Everything together was good from the base to the toppings. This place is lovely. I've only gotten their acai bowls, but haven't had a bad experience with them yet. Definitely want to try their smoothies one day too. The acai isn't icy and has been pretty consistent, same goes for the fruit! That's the main reason I keep coming. Their selection of fruit is wonderful with things having flavor and surprisingly their pineapples have been so so sweet. Understandable that their berries can be on the tarter side with the summer coming to a close, but I've definitely had places where the fruit has no flavor or is just very tart. OR that they serve canned pineapples, which makes me sad. Another reason I also keep coming back! No canned fruits. If you check in you can also get a dollar off your order :) (at least as of writing this review, who knows if that will change). To the business owner, it doesn't really matter how you break down your explanation of serving size by ounces. I'm a customer and I can have an opinion, and I took a picture of my empty looking bowl. My opinion is that there are better places to get an açaí bowl. My review wasn't all negative, I said the smoothies looked good. Instead of publicly berating your customers maybe you could increase the scoop size. This is just one opinion on your bowls. Part of being a business owner is being able to accept constructive criticism. You take it in stride. I love açaí bowls and I've been lots of places, this is just my opinion on yours.
