Never had drinks from a food truck before. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. They're Latina family owned and are super nice. I got their unique and popular bubulubu lattte and Nutella strawberry churros to try. Never had the Spanish bubulubu snack but this latte just tasted like really strong bitter coffee. I'm not much of a coffee person so this wasn't for me. You'd probably like it if you were really into coffee tho. At least I liked the churros. Made, to order, sugary, crispity crunchy with a decent amount of strawberries and Nutella. They were a bit on the harder side tho. I think I just ordered wrong cuz for me overall this place eh. Bubulubu latte $6.25 Nutella strawberry churros $9.25

On a Saturday afternoon in February, I was in temple city and drove by to this light green food truck. I parked on the street and looked at their menu. They make breakfast burritos all day, coffees, lemonades, churros, bread pudding. The owner seems nice and he took my order-churro, bread pudding, dragonfruit orba drink. Next more people came and ordered breakfast burritos which must be a popular item. The churros of 3 was lightly fried and gust of sugar. It was delicious and hit the spot. I also sample the dragon fruit drink and that was refreshing. I saved the bread pudding for hubby. Next time I should order a breakfast burrito.

Stopped here after the gym at around 4pm, staff was really friendly & accommodating to us! However the food bites were a bit underwhelming unfortunately. We ordered a la vida burrito, churro bites, & a seasonal pastry which was a pistachio crunch croissant. la vida burrito: 3/5, it was hot meaning they cooked it fresh which i enjoyed, but it was a little lacking in satisfaction/flavor, nothing too crazy. on the skinnier side as well. i do like that they cut in half knowing we were going to share, that was considerate of em. churro bites: 2.5/5 cinnamon sugar flavor was good, though churro itself felt overcooked & too hard to bite than usual too. pistachio crunch croissant: 2.5/5. it tasted really stale and hard to bite. at first, i was wondering where much of the pistachio flavor was bc i did not bite into any cream until the latter half of my croissant. the pistachio cream part redeemed itself but still cannot get over how stale it tasted which ruined my experience.. Overall, I appreciated the service & I liked their cute side table decor. I'm hoping they improve on freshness & quality for the future!

I ordered almond tostadido mocha $6.25+tax ($6.93) after seeing these 3 ladies standing by the truck. I asked for less sweet and it was just perfect amount of sweetness and very silky tasting latte! Julio who makes the drink inside the truck was super nice and friendly! They even have this little table set outside. The price isn't cheap so I'm not sure if people would be willing to pay the money especially there's no seating available. I would definitely be back to purchase more! Hopefully Julio does well for himself to get a space to have these delicious drinks for more people!!

[3.5 stars] - i was able to try the pistachio croissant and not gonna lie, it tasted stale and it lacked flavor. there is only filling in a small portion of the croissant which isn't ideal because honestly it needed more flavor to balance it out. also, i got the la vida burrito as well & it was very interesting because there was a churro inside of the burrito which surprisingly tasted good! (but also didn't expect). lastly, i got some churro bites & they were yummy and decent, but some of them were overcooked and too crunchy.

Everything was phenomenal. Service was quick and friendly. My dulce de leche latte was perfect. The ambiance was charming and so was the staff. I was nearby picking up a Penseke moving truck with my bestie and we both were in desperate need of coffee. La Vida Latte was at the right spot at the right time, or maybe it was us being at the right spot at the right time. Needless to say, this is a family owned business and I couldn't be happier to support. Fresh coffee, local, family owned, and welcoming. Highly recommend and I'll be back to try the breakfast burrito, churros, and almond croissants.

I was looking around for this little coffee shop and found that la vida latte is a food truck. The horchata latte is so good. I love my coffees heavy and creamy, and this did not disappoint. I also ordered a dulce latte with oatmilk. I will definitely return for the horchata drink again and maybe try the mazapan too.

The food is always delicious! Presentation is amazing - the little to go boxes the serve the food in are super cute. The owners are also very kind. Parking is always a breeze so it's easy to access. I'm very glad there's a spot like this so close to where I live :)

We stopped by after the gym and ordered some food. My partner and I shared the nachos, while our friends got the quesadilla and tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food tasted fresh, was well-seasoned, and wasn't overly salty, which I really appreciated. One thing I love is their salsa bar. They have a self-serve area outside the truck where you can get as much salsa as you want. It's convenient, and it's nice that they're not stingy with condiments. They also offer daily specials. We didn't order any of the daily deals this time, but they looked like a great value. If you're looking for delicious food at an even better price, definitely check out their daily specials before ordering. The location is another plus. It's right outside Jefferson Middle School in a quiet area with plenty of parking, making it very convenient to visit. Several people recommended the horchata, saying I had to try it, so I ended up getting one and sharing it with my partner. It was really good! The only thing I noticed was that it didn't come with ice, so we added some when we got home. The service was quick and friendly. They took our order right away, and the food was ready in about 10 minutes. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back soon.

I pulled into the Good Fortune Supermarket (formerly Hong Kong Supermarket) parking lot to check it out. Everything looked new and clean, but business seemed slow because no one was around. Two Asian men sitting around liao tianr-ing (chatting) sprang up as I approached. My Chinese not being the best combined with their somewhat heavy mainland accents meant I didn't know how or what to order. They said they had one last serving of what sounded like "lamb" to me left. I took a glance and saw grilled/fried stuff on the menu, so I said sure why not. I asked how long they've been open, what their hours are, and if they're usually at this location. They said this is the first week they've been open, their hours are around 5 PM to 9 PM, and yes they are usually in front of the supermarket. I asked if I could take pictures and if they had a Yelp page, and they said sure and not yet. Around this time, while I was chatting with one guy and the other guy was preparing my order, a few other groups of people saw the commotion and started inching closer, curious. You know me, always blazing trails. Anyway, it wasn't until I paid and got change that I realized what I ordered. Apparently I ordered the Brothers Features Liangpi. I've never heard of a liangpi, so I was excited to bring it home to try it out. It turns out liangpi is like a flat rice noodle (or mungbean sheet?) cut up with cold cucumbers, tofu, cilantro, and a bit of Sichuan pepper (mala). They gave me a sesame sauce on the side. It was pretty good. In summary: Food was good though I ordered only one thing. I'll be back sometime in the next few days to try out more of their menu. Service was good. I was the only one around for a bit, but they were definitely friendly. Food truck with an "A" rating from the health department. It's a positive, but part of me wants to count it as a negative. Asian street food, to me, just isn't the same without massive cockroaches skittering around piles of rotting vegetables all around me while mosquitoes eat me alive. Pricing seems fair. Definitely not cheap as my liangpi wasn't huge or anything, but it wasn't too expensive either. I hope Asian-street-food food trucks become more popular.

Also, chicken could have been crispier outside but that's just me I prefer crispier popcorn chicken. Otherwise it was solid and right amount of seasoning and honey milk tea was yum. Didn't taste powdered down or anything. I ordered 50% and the honey taste is memorable . There's other food trucks available so as far as vibes... busy all around!
