I have been going here for awhile now and I can truly say this is the most consistent dog groomers I have ever been to. The shop is very clean, tidy and everyone you deal with is very nice and professional. When you schedule an appointment you get a txt confirmation and the day before your apt you get a reminder txt which is awesome because I forget appointments. Tamala (hope I spelled it right) was the first and only groomer to cut our dogs since we been here and she does an amazing job So thank you Tamala. I don't think the pictures do them enough justice... especially since these dogs go into the apt with dark tear stains. read more

All I can say is we will not be back after the grooming they did for my dog! Disregarded all requests and directions for length, coat, trimming of the tail. Walked out actually having the thought to double check it was the same dog we had dropped off. read more

I worked at Happy Pawz for 5 and a half years. I have never met a better boss/business owner and staff in my life. I personally can say we emotionally connect with every dog that comes in. We listen to every owners needs and wants and uphold that in everything we do. The facility is clean 100% of the time because we have the staff that knows and understands the safety and health of your dog. Our job is the make sure your dog is happy and taken care of. OVERCHARGED FOR MULTIPLE SERVICES NOT RENDERED I had multiple problems with a staff member at the front desk "M". I went in to set up the stay and from the beginning, she was confused. I would tell her the exact dates and times, but the confirmations were all messed up. I was very patient with her. On the ap, the dates were wrong but finally corrected: Tuesday drop off at 1 pm, Friday nail trim at 2 pm, and Sunday pick up at 12 pm (noon). Yet, on Monday, I received a call from Happy Paws advising I could not drop off my dog because it was a holiday. I checked my ap and told them my drop off was tomorrow, Tuesday. Pick up was awful! My remaining bill after the $160 deposit was $130 when all I was expecting to pay for was an added day and a nail trip (approx $60). M said it was because I added a bath and upgraded his room. I DID NOT! However I told her this was easy to remedy, I would pull up my ap and figure this out. M was rude and flustered and typing frantically. When I pulled up my ap, there were the confirmations, same and correct. Yet, when she asked me to refresh, hmmmm why??, well, poof the confirmations disappeared. At which point M said it was all my fault and I was confused. I found this disturbing, I'm not perfect, but I'm organized and I KNOW what I saw. I said that's no problem, I have the Email confirmations. M walked away and came back piecemealing my items to me...a blanket here, empty baggies...toys, when I had brought everything in a neat box. I asked her nicely to confirm if his nails were trimmed. She walked away without saying a word and came back with my dog, said his nails were trimmed. THEY WERE LONG AND POINTED AND NOT TRIMMED. A man from grooming came over and confirmed the nails were not trimmed. At that point, I told him I had email confirmations. M was giving me dirty looks and turned to the man behind me and started helping him. I was left standing there with my arms full of stuff and struggled to get my dog out the door (he was pulling because he needed to use the bathroom and urinated for 32 seconds--as if he had not been let out in a very long time). When I got home, I found that his stainless-steel bowls and stand were missing PLUS I had been over charged for Kong treats and food snacks that were not given. I called and left a message (no one ever answers there). The manager/owner called back, I explained everything. She said she would look for the missing items and call me back. She said she wanted to make things right. She was going to fully reimburse me, I did not ask for this, she offered several times and insisted because she did not want a bad review. She never called me back to tell me if the dishes, etc were found. I had to drive over the next day out of my way to inquire. I was met with more hatred from M and dirty looks. It's been 10 days and no reimbursement. I wonder if this is what the manager/owner tells people with no intension of reimbursement just to get them to not make a bad review????? After a time they forget? Well, not me. Overcharging, not properly caring for my dog and claiming to give services when they didn't. You really think I was going to forget and drop it? I've been taking my German Shepherd there now for a year, since he was a pup. I couldn't be happier! And my dog LOVES it! All I have to do is mention Happy Pawz and he goes nuts! The staff are so friendly and obviously excellent at their jobs and the dogs love them all. They have a great system and the facility is always clean and maintained. I know, beyond a doubt, that my baby is in exceptionally good hands when I leave him there. And THAT means the world to me. read more

I have been taking my dog to see Ahhna for grooming for years. She is a wonderful, sweet person who listens to exactly what you want you want done to your dog. She is so wonderful with my dog and makes her feel so comfortable with getting groomed. She is an rescue dog who was abused for the first eight months of her life so she is afraid of all objects. But yet, Ahhna makes her feel comfortable with getting her nails trimmed and with getting groomed. My dog, Gracie, loves seeing Ahhna every month for her grooming and her nails to be trimmed. I would not take my dog any other place but Happy Pawz!!! read more

Can't say enough how thankful I am for the groomers here. My dog is a true rescue, as in hates everyone but me and unfortunately acts out aggressively. They were so patient, let me come back with her and hold her while they did her nail trim. They were the first place to successfully get her trimmed, bathed and looking less homeless. Since my first review, I have added to my pack. Rescued a puppy and took him there to socialize and be boarded while I was in Mexico. He came home a happy, worn out puppy! They posted pictures of him while we were gone, gave us updates when asked and they loved him as if he was their own. What a comfort knowing your pup is in good hands. And for those wondering, my other rescue has graduated to being able to get a bath there! Woohooo read more

This place is great, cannot say enough good things! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Super clean environment overall. For us, this place has been perfect for our labradoodle to get out with other dogs. The daycare here has really helped calm his rambunctious puppy like behavior. They're great with understanding dog behavior. Haven't needed boarding yet, but I'm sure they are just as attentive with boarding care as well! read more

Happy Pawz is by far the BEST place to take you furry children. Our dogs always come home exhausted from playing all day. The staff is wonderful and Tony the owner is one of the nicest most genuine people you will ever meet. We board our dogs and they go to doggie day care and absolutely love it. Sometimes our dogs comeback smelling like perfume so we know they get snuggled a lot. Great place! And the puppy progress reports are hilarious. Love reading what our fluffs have been up to while they stay. read more

I found Happy Pawz when I traveled in Kansas City. Planning to meet my client within a few hours and needed someone to take care of my puppy Bebe. It was rush for me but I was lucky to find the owner Andy. I heard they did grooming so I just let them did it also. They are serious people and they did WONDERFUL job for my puppy :) I am from California and usually the groomers won't ask for the vaccination record, but Andy insisted in order to make sure all the pets were all safe, which was good to everyone. And they did more sophisticated than my current groomer! I wish I could post the picture online and you will understand why I recommend them!! They charged more than my groomer in California (Usually won't charge pet care if grooming in Los Angeles), but you get what you pay for! Quality and friendliness are what we care about :D read more

Happy Pawz is by far the best daycare experience I have ever had for my golden retriever Oliver. You literally won't find a cleaner place to leave your pets. Tony and Marsha are the best - they were always willing to accommodate my schedule, super friendly, and very caring of Oliver - it was almost as he if he was a part of their family. I would not hesitate to recommend Happy Pawz to anyone. If my office hadn't relocated, I would still be going there every week. Everyone at Happy Pawz is great!! Very helpful and friendly and my dog loves going to daycare or to be groomed. Such a better experience with grooming here versus one of the big pet store chains.
