I had the ginger tea chilled with aloe bubbles And I created a great combo of fresh and spicy . They have a room with chalk characters that have been drawn by a group of chalk artist that are extremely dope . I want to go back and try other teas soon so I can catch up on some work. read more

The taro brownies here are amazing and they have debatably the best thai tea in town! Unlike most boba shops in Atlanta, honey bubble allows you to customize your entire drink choosing your tea base, flavor, and choice of milk. I also love that they use honey as a sweetener rather than sugar! As someone who is lactose intolerant a lot of milk teas from other places destroy my stomach due to their dairy content. So, honey bubble is a life savor for me as I usually opt for soy or lactaid milk. read more

Okay, so far, Atlanta has NOT let me down. Disclaimer: I am somewhat new to boba, but I tried quite a few different spots back in Dallas and this one has surpassed them all. I got the Thai tea (as recommended by several other Yelp reviewers) and I was honestly blown away by how delicious it was!! The Thai tea flavor really came across, as did the sweetness, without being overpowering. The one thing I will say though is that the boba pearls themselves were a little stickier than I'm used to; one actually got stuck in my straw and I had to extract it before I could finish my drink! So just be aware of that, and maybe grab an extra straw in case that happens to you too. Otherwise, though, 10/10 will most definitely visit this place again! My friend got the classic honey bubble tea and enjoyed that; she said the honey flavor came through in the aftertaste. Next time I come here, I might try that one. I want to update my review on honey bubble. I want to say how Extremely disappointed I am in today's experience. I found out that the hiked up the price to six dollars from $5 and this is all of a sudden overnight I walked in and I ordered a Georgian peach flavored snow cup on I have to say that it taste abysmal my friend ordered a passion fruit and that as always great but I would like to say that overall my experience today was not good and even though the price was mentioned as five dollars on the board they charged me $6. If you are used to sweet teas, this place is for you. I was very hopeful with the options to change the milk style from dairy or nondairy alternatives. But coming from CA my taste buds are so used to getting the lowest sweetness level 25% that I couldn't handle the sweetness of the milk tea I had. My friends got the green tea, hubs got thai tea & I got black milk tea. I presume that the sweetness at Honeybubble was overly sweet for me because I got mine iceless and there isn't dilution, Honeybubble tea probably needs be with ice to get the right taste. Overall my friends and I felt we've had better milk tea. I even think the milk tea at GoCha in Missouri is better. Being as I chose to try this place while driving through because of all the overall high reviews, I'm curious if the other milk tea places in the area reviewers commented would have satisfied my milk tea craving or given me the same disappointment. =/ read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my drink was! Super cute place with a lot of seating. I needed to kill some time, so I found myself here and really enjoyed sipping on my tea while I waited for the time to pass. Friendly staff and super quick. One of the hidden gems in Midtown ATL, right off of Ponce hidden behind Java Java and overshadowed by the Hotel Clermont across the street. Within walking distance of of PCM and the belt line. If you are looking for a lady back, easy going tea lounge with plenty of space to study or kick back this is the location for you! I am common regular here trying the various teas whether hot or cold. My go to is the snow cap slushees I've tried a majority of them but I always recommend the passion fruit. When I have a boba drink that isn't good, I normally give the shop a second chance and try out different tea with different configuration. On my latest visit, we had to wait several minutes -without even being acknowledged- to be served at the counter (no one else in line) while both workers tried to figure out if the previous customer had paid. Ordered their standard royal milk tea with bubble at half sweetness. The milk tea itself was okayy, but still pretty sweet. The bubbles, aka their namesake, tasted stale and half were sour. I feel like they probably mixed an older batch into the current batch. Was so bad I finished the milk tea but threw away the bubbles. So why two stars instead of one? Normally not a fan of having boba in my milk tea but this place changed my mind. I ordered the Royal Milk Honey Bubble Tea and it was so tasty. The size is quite large so you get your money's worth (I paid $5 + tip if I remember correctly). I will say that it was really sweet so I would recommend 50% sugar unless you prefer the very sweet option. The staff was nice, and the wait was very short. With corona there is not indoor seating option which is good! There seemed to be some tables outside if youd prefer that. There was parking right outside reserved for Honey Bubble customers. I had no intention of going to Honey Bubble today. That is until some friends of mine decided (on a whim) to go find a bubble tea place. I'm usually up for an adventure, so I agreed... and I was not disappointed. I definitely feel like this is one of those places that I'm going to have to come back to many times to get the full effect, but here's what would be important for anyone: make sure you ask what flavors mix well. You could easily make a poor decision and end up hating the place. Don't be that guy. I had Jasmine Green Tea with soy milk, strawberry flavoring, and mango pearls. It was very tasty. I'd definitely try it again. My other friends got black tea with coffee flavor and tapioca pearls/coffee jelly. The former was good, but strong. The latter was not as great, ironically. I would say that the prices are about what you would expect to pay. It's definitely a worthwhile treat. Definitely an indulgence for me, and not the everyday kind of drink. Service was very helpful and pretty quick, but (once again) make sure you ask about the menu before you choose something to regret later. I would definitely recommend trying HB, especially if you haven't tried bubble tea before. I hope to get back there before too long. read more

I sat down on the couch which had an outlet next to it, and the area was really big and comfortable with lots of seating. The tea was very milk-heavy and the tea flavor didn't come through, wasn't bold. The matcha boba was very rubbery and it was not good at all; I didn't eat any of them. They also had no matcha flavor, and I really wonder what materials were made to make them. They honestly tasted like rubber. I also picked up a slice of banana bread on the way out, and I ate it about 36 hours after I got it. It was moist and quite tasty, but the edges were really wet, I'm not sure why. I used to really love this place. Super friendly staff, good tea, etc. But you can only go into a place with an open hole in the ceiling and black mold for so long before you start really wondering about the sanitation. If that's the kind of thing they're okay with letting any customer that walks through the door see, I kind of shudder to think about what's going on behind closed doors (the old adage about a restaurant's bathrooms vs its kitchens). My friend and I came here on a rainy evening on sleepy Sunday. There were about 8 people in the shop when we arrived. She ordered the Honey Jasmine Tea and I ordered their signature Royal Milk Honey Bubble Tea with boba and aloe vera jelly. Their tea is a perfect amount of sweet infused with the delicious flavors of tea. Their boba was chewy as well as having a good bite to it. Their atmosphere is calming and artsy chic with 6 tables a couple comfy-looking sofas. Their bathrooms are well-kept and clean. I look forward to my next visit with anticipation. read more

I've tried a number of bubble tea places and by far this is one of the best one in Atlanta. Not only the tea itself was delicious, but even the staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. It was our first there so they helped us picking out the best tea. We ended up ordering clear lychee and pomegranate & clear peach with ginger. When I first came in, I was immediately intrigued by the fun decor and the fact that their main tea flavor wasn't just black milk tea but Royal Milk Tea; looking at their extensive menu with all the more niche and interesting tea flavors left me with pretty high hopes. The tea was alright, not unlike most other royal tea I've had; the tapioca wasn't really sweet at all, which didn't bother me that much although I think people in general might like it if they were at least a little more syrupy in a sense, not that the tea wasn't sweet enough on its own. I wouldn't normally mind mediocre service in a bubble tea shop like this one but the people manning the counter seemed aggressively preoccupied in loudly conversing about their relationship issues, to the point where they left me standing at the register like a full minute before they let me order. It was kind of off-putting and they continued loudly talking to each other while making drinks for a couple that came in after me, who also seemed a little taken aback by their attitude. I don't know, it seemed like a cool place and I hate to be nit-picky about it but the way the employees came off kinda ruined the atmosphere for me. Might have given it 4-5 if it had felt a little nicer; it seems like whoever runs the whole thing does care about it but for me it just wasn't a very fun time and the tea was just alright so I wouldn't go back personally. It's almost hard to judge the quality of the food when the interior is so nicely arranged and decorated. Honey Bubble is by far the coziest bubble tea shop in the Midtown area, a great place to lounge around, catch up with friends, read a book, or do work. The items are a bit pricier than what I typically see, though the quality doesn't justify the price jump. I ordered their signature milk tea, which was $4 for a regular cup. The milk tea was decent, though the boba could have been a little more firmer for my taste. I have yet to try the other items, but by the taste of the milk tea, I don't expect much better. Milk Tea, my favorite sweet drink of all time. I went to Honey Bubble on a hot Saturday afternoon, and as I walked in, I could tell that this place would be very good to sit down and have a drink by yourself or with someone. I ordered Honey Bubble's Signature Royal Milk Tea with boba. I personally think that the boba quality was subpar. The boba felt chewier and harder to break down than regular boba, and the boba was not sweet at all. The tea itself felt very average. The tea was not very sweet, but did not have a tea flavor. Which to some people is the perfect combination, but for me I personally think that a milk tea should have either a sweet flavor or a tea flavor. Not having a distinct flavor kind of ruins it for me. To improve the experience of the tea, I think adding the option for less/more ice and being able to change the sweetness levels like many other tea places is very important. Also, having the option to have honey boba and regular boba would be very good too. The atmosphere of honey bubble is amazing, but in my opinion: the milk tea itself could be improved on. read more

Honey Bubble is hands down the best bubble tea not just in Atlanta, but the best bubble tea I have ever had. With different types of tea to choose from, a plethora of flavors and types of boba, popping boba, and jelly to put in the tea, I truly believe you can go there every day for a year and have a different drink each time. My go to drinks are Mango Green Tea with lychee boba or Kiwi Black Tea with no boba. You can choose your sweetness if you prefer something more bitter, or more sweet, you can customize your drink to fit your tastes. Along with the tea, they have various types of snacks like different pastries, deserts, gelato, and macaroons. This place is a wonderful study place as well. With different types of seating arrangements, including normal restaurant style tables, standing/stool seating benches for those who may prefer to study standing up, and couches for those looking to lay back and relax, you will definitely be comfortable here. The music varies depending on the day. Some days it could be normal Top 100 hits while some days, the better days in my opinion, low if hip hop plays and is a wonderful background music to study or read to. I've personally read multiple books while just sitting in there with my tea. Parking is not an issue at all even if you're there in a busy day. This is an oddity in Atlanta. They have a parking lot in the front for approx. 10-12 cars but out back is a much larger parking lot shared with the Chinese restaurant next door. I was a devote customer from early 2013 until last month, before I moved out of state. The owners and their family are amazing. The fresh made boba is amazing. The quality of all their teas...amazing. I've only run into issues 2-3 times in 10 years, when they ran out of traditional boba for the day (not a bad issue) or their blenders were broken (I preferred the matcha snowcap slushy). Personally I find this tea spot to be unique. This is more of a true tea connoisseurs dream as they have a very large variety of authentic teas and many of which I have not tasted before (I only drink tea). For me personally, I have been going away from sweet drinks and usually drink my tea plain or with slight amounts of sugar. So this place is the perfect tea location for me. None of the artisan teas come with much sugar. For a normal customer this may be concerning. While they still offer milk teas, I would not necessarily recommend them here because you can get better milk teas from other places near by that will taste better. So let this be a warning. If you don't drink artisan teas and look for freshly brewed varieties, then this might not be the tea place for you. For most of the area, there's probably not much competition in the bubble tea / boba tea game. Which unfortunately for us the consumer, I feel like it's a take it or leave it option. I think I probably would leave it for Honey Bubble. On a slow Friday night, I tried the original royal milk tea. It itself was pretty good, though I wish they had the options or provided me with some regarding ice and sweetness level. What was disappointing was the boba. The texture was quite... soggy. No kind of chew was present and there wasn't much taste either I feel. There's plenty of parking on the side street as most of the parking lot was filled but I believe that they were to go orders because after walking to the front, most of the lot was vacant. DOH! I won't ding them because their internet was out which meant cash only that day. It just meant that I couldn't try more teas. Yo, this place is my JAM. I've never tasted bubble tea this good. Every sip is an experience and the quality of the tea they use is rich and consistent. It's a cozy spot with free wifi, comfortable chairs and cool tables for you to get some work in before you have to head over to your evening lecture. Sometimes the staff can be a little standoffish, but I've never had anyone be outright discourteous. They offer a rewards program too, which is a good, guilt free incentive to keep coming back! So I have literally been coming here since they opened and it's crazy that I am just writing a review now. This place not only gave me my first Bubble Tea experience, but has not been surpassed in over 5 years. I moved from Atlanta to Houston and still haven't found a place that compares. The tea tastes like real authentic tea (imagine that). I know that sounds pretty simple-- but when you are a tea lover the difference between freshly brewed tea and the fake flavored teas is everything. I always get the large Honey Jasmine tea with Boba and Almond Milk. Not amazing. I had been craving bubble tea for awhile now and hit up Honey Bobble for the first time. I ordered a Thai Tea with soy milk. The tea itself was a bit bitter, like it had been steeped too long and we didn't get many tapioca pearls, there were probably only 15/20 in my cup. I heard the girl say they were running out to another employee so I imagine they just hadn't prepped enough. It wasn't a horrible drink but I was definitely expecting more flavor (not bitter). I was at least expecting more tapioca pearls, normally they fill up the bottom of the cup but I was disappointed. I also didn't love the ambiance.
