She was attentive and made our overall dining experience great. We had the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection. I had the biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were large buttery and airy. The gravy tasted like a souther grandma was in the kitchen putting her soul into it. Can't wait to try other items on the menu

Hubby had the burger - sans bun (gf) he called it "good and tasty." I can vouch for the excellent crispy hot fries. I had a special risotto - with savory veggies, crunchy crispy onions, cooked al dente - perfect. * We shared the cheesecake which could be delivered gluten free simply omitting the gram cracker sprinkle - creamy cheesy deliciousness. * Our first time hearing the Jack Grace a gentle blend of country, rock, and bossa nova made us fans. Apple Music does not represent what we heard. LIve was better. We will be back and recommend the food and the music! Nice bar, the tight seating in dining area but does not take away from atmosphere- feels more intimate. Excellent attentive service.

The pillowy little pockets didn't even need sauce (I ate one plain like a toddler). Nothing against the sauce: it's a celebration of the tomato, bright and smooth. I also got to watch the master (Bivona) at work. It was like what I imagine witnessing the efforts of a Renaissance sculptor to be like. It was also fun and educational watching him guide customers and give them a tour of the day's pasta shapes. For me, one of the best marks of quality is when you can look at the pasta and see the texture. You know that means your sauce is going to cover all that surface area, that will adhere brilliantly to your noods. The Cannookie (chocolate chip cookies sandwiching cannoli cream) was way more delicious than it had any right to be. I'm not going to ever have one again on principle because it sounds like a racial slur for Canadians, but that doesn't change the fact that it was outstanding. The meatballs, were all beef, I think, so it's pretty impressive how light and tender they were--beefy too.

The produce is absolutely gorgeous, the breads are nice, there is a nice selection of all of what you might want for baked goods, spices, sauces, etc. I found the kombucha that I was looking for. There is a coffee bar where you can order a cup of coffee and or buy coffee by the pound. The staff are great, extremely helpful. On 2 occasions they brought me to where I was able to find what I was looking for. I love a grocery store that celebrates food. And excellent food at that. It's a wonderful place to shop and to bring delicious and fresh food home to enjoy wonderful nourishment.
