Weekends are pretty busy here at the shop and definitely worth the visit. Chuck and Casey have a great vibe going while making and serving the customers that are in and out. The food is fantastic whether it's the sandwiches or the take home pasta options.

Meatball Parm was awesome. The owner is a cool guy as well gave great service. Opening a new restaurant down the street soon too

I meaaaaan I don't have to say much about this place other than the fact it's f*******king goood. I mean I don't even like meatball sandwiches but this spot slapped and it's an all beef meatball which is rare. The red sauce is out of this damn world. If this was in Brooklyn there would be a line around the block and influencers in your way all the way to the counter. That's to say.... I'm glad it's right where it is. The owner is charming, helpful and caring talker, helluva cook. Even the damn cannolis are to die for. If you're even remotely close to this place you must stop by. Get some fresh pasta too dammit!!!!!! Small, quaint, a few seats to shamelessly stuff your face.

Gnocchi with pink sauce, two meatballs, incredible side bread

This place is something special! Incredible food. Here's the gnocchi with pink pause and meatballs I got. Incredible. And got a Caesar salad unlike anything I've had - no picture before I ate it! Great place! Oh and the bread on the side UNREAL.

Full disclosure before I review this place, I've known Chuck, the owner, since jr high. He's a great guy and I was glad to come by and support him. That said, I never give out a 5-star review that isn't deserved--even if I know the person. The food here deserves all the stars. Fresh handmade pasta, homemade meatballs, sauces and salads and even desserts. Everything is assembled fresh right in front of you. It's a mostly take and go place but has a few small places to sit. Worth the drive to liberty street and they do catering now too! I can't recommend the food enough. Try it and I promise you won't regret it.

I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile . Finally had time to stop in today . The owner is absolutely amazing . We talked the entire time he cooked me and my grandmas meal . He's so personable and truly loves what he does . Now the food ? Absolutely delicious I warned him that I'm a picky eater and grew up with Italians so I was gonna be a tough cookie to please but he surely didn't disappoint. The meatballs , the sauce amazing you can seriously taste the freshness. I also loved that while I was there the local farmer popped in and dropped off some veggies . I love when restaurants support local farmers and keep the ingredients as fresh as possible. I can't wait to return and buy a bucket of sauce and a couple pounds of pasta to make for dinner

The main theme seems to be fresh fish, seafood, and it seems fresh everything else. (Confirmed that they get fresh shipments daily). With reservations for 9 at 6:30 on a Monday, where many places are closed, we walked into a fully booked restaurant. Our giant table stood out amongst all the other full tables that were in various stages of dining. So, we took up a decent amount of the restaurant space. A reunion with family and so were happy to talk and have some bread, and drinks while they were wrapping up their other patrons also enjoying themselves. The main purpose seemed to be to time taking our orders in a way that they would come out properly. As the food came out, it was one wonderful dish after another. I could name and describe eschar one, but fresh and flavorful is the best way. I can imagine that at the time when we arrived that the kitchen was hopping. The chefs seemed to focus very well on each individual order, so of course it took some, but not excessive time. As it took a little while to start we also were not rushed out. Perhaps if we had gotten there at 5 then I suppose we might have been moved along some, since restaurants need to get some turnover at the peak hours, we were happy to offer some well rewarded patience, which was reciprocated with polite, warm, service and great food. This is a regular place for locals who know what they like. It is well worth putting some effort in to explore the various foods and drinks offered, as they were all exceptional. So, I must give it 5 stars. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is unique and actually stunning, especially during daylight where you are overlooking the Hudson and into the mountains across the river. Thus, it is a great landmark establishment of the Newburgh area.

That probably the only great going going for them. It felt like a decent diner cook was given a fancy menu and they let him figure it out on his own. I was craving something hearty and healthy so naturally, I went for the pearly bowl which originally comes with couscous, roasted cauliflower, golden raisins (trust me these add THEEEE touch), pickled red onions (YUM), tahini sauce, avocado, and a lemon-mint vinaigrette - THISSSSSS. I ended up substituting the couscous for quinoa which was perfect for the type of meal I wanted before traveling. Can we talk about that lemon-mint vinaigrette? It's perfectly green and brings the whole bowl together, SO GOOD. Wish I would've gotten a whole side of that. Ordering delivery through Yelp is so easy thanks to DoorDash and I was so thankful I didn't have to be stuck eating chips and m&ms - love these but I needed a little something more. Next time you're taking a flight from Newburgh airport be sure to get delivery from Ms Fairfax. Can't wait to try their crepes and green goddess wrap from their breakfast and lunch menu!

She was taking care of the entire restaurant and didn't miss a beat. The food is fantastic. The chicken and waffles is the way I like them, with tenders not bone in (controversial, I know). But I swear, that may have been the best tender I've ever had. The flavor was insane! The brisket hash was rich and warm. Topped off with their in-house made hot sauce, it was a perfect meal. Also, the music was so on point. Just tied together a wonderful experience.

I also usually do not leave reviews, but the experience I had here earlier today was very unprofessional and unpleasant. Around 2:40 PM, I went into Emma's to buy some snacks before work. When I got to the counter, the woman working there immediately said, "Don't you owe me $5?" This completely caught me off guard because I had not been in the store the previous day. After I explained that she must have mistaken me for someone else, she then changed the amount multiple times, saying my card had declined and that I owed 50 cents instead. The entire story was confusing and inconsistent, and because the amount kept changing, it honestly made me feel like she was trying to hustle me out of extra money. It also made the situation even harder to understand because none of it really made sense. What made things worse was that this was all being said out loud in front of other customers, which felt embarrassing and uncomfortable. This experience discouraged me from wanting to return. I am not writing this review to stop people from supporting the business, but rather in hopes that the owners and staff can learn from this situation and treat customers with more professionalism, respect, and kindness moving forward.

We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.

But when I want to have an elevated experience with a nod to fine dining, this is my go-to. I always bring friends from out of town here and everyone is impressed. The bartenders make the best martinis and Manhattans you'll find, along with a seasonal cocktail menu that features something for everyone, including mocktails. When I don't want a full dining experience but the hubs and I have a babysitter, we like to sit at the bar for martinis and oysters - SO FRESH! If you don't do oysters, anything on the appetizers list is a wonderful light bite. I don't know what kind of magic the chef uses to make the salads but they are always simple, yet stunning. For dinner, the steak is hard to pass up if you eat red meat. I usually get the single serving NY strip, which is incredible. You can't go wrong. I'm excited to try the porterhouse for 2. My mollusk loving friend raved about the mussels and the fish selection is fantastic. I'm not a big dessert person, but splitting any of the desserts is a treat. Alternatively, the digestif selection doesn't disappoint. The bartenders and bar manager, Nick, are helpful in guiding your taste buds to the right choice. Bud, the owner, whose previous establishments can be read about in some respectfully placed articles around the restaurant, is always accommodating for the busiest place in town. It's nearly impossible to get a seat on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9, but he will be honest and create a space at one of the little side bar areas if he can. The ambiance is sexy and sophisticated with a touch of whimsy. The toilet paper holder in the restroom always makes me smile (IYKYK). Having been to this restaurant many times, you'll start to see familiar faces as there is now a strong regular crowd. The community and connections that I've found while at Lyonshare have enhanced my experience of living in Beacon. Oh, last thing - brunch is a can't miss, must do culinary event.
