I found the experience from a customer service perspective to be a bomb. The manager seemed harried and rushed and not respectful of my appt time. Ditto to the tech who did my pedicure who seemed pained by having to do my pedicure. I sat in the chair waiting for her to do a pedicure I had scheduled. In total, there was 30 minutes of wait time between the two appointments not because of the scheduling but the mismanagement of this salon. I would never return, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the time.

No one really "got" my nails like her. And she was super quick. In and out with gel nails in 45 min and they lasted way longer than two weeks! I saw Yumi's when getting coffee and decided to give it a try b/c it was close to work. I will never go anywhere else. They have a lifelong customer. Immediately I knew they were special. Friendly and skilled, showing real care to everyone. And the service and results are just as spot on as my old nail tech which is my highest recommendation. Make no mistake: this place is great. Clean, never have been refused an appointment when I wanted it, doesn't feel crowded even when it is, never feel rushed, a walk-in having to wait more than 10 minutes is rare, experienced techs, impeccable work and every single person working there is nice. Lin is wonderful and she always watches to make sure people are getting what they ask for and helps if a tech is unsure. My little girl has some disabilities and they are so kind to her, giving her VIP treatment. Makes her feel like a princess. It was more of a shape I wanted on my toes and hands (squared off but still soft if that makes sense) not so much a design. Gigi started off doing my pedicure. She took the time to reshape all of my toe nails, pushing back my cuticles all that and made sure they were as perfect as can be. My personal experience is that most people rush through the process and get right to painting your toe nails. I hate when my nail shapes don't match! But not Gigi, she made sure I liked them every step of the way. I can even say it was the best pedicure I ever received I truly love my nails! On to my hands. Sophia I believe her name was, was as patient as can be. She also took the time to do exactly what I asked the same as my feet. She took so much time in perfecting the shape and making sure my nails weren't bulky (Acrylic and Gel deff look bulky to me).. My nails came out so beautiful! Another day, Sophia had done my eyebrows. She listened to me as well and did exactly what I had asked. I feel as though most nail salons are so busy (this place is too) they don't take the time to listen to what the customer wants. I want to preface this by saying my natural nails were long, strong, and healthy going in -- they…read morehad simply grown out on their own. So my technician, Annie, had an excellent base to work with. What happened next was entirely on the execution. 1. Inconsistent, unsafe shaping. My nails came out uneven in shape, and one was cut at such a steep angle that it dug into my skin -- it's still painful now. She also used the e-file to *cut my nails* by grinding it off perpendicular to the nail surface, which caused my nail to split into tiny, sharp, hanging pieces. I've never had a technician use this method before, and in my opinion it's clearly damaging to the nail. 2. Dismissive when I flagged issues. Annie repeatedly got gel on my skin near the cuticles. When I asked her to clean it up before curing, she flicked her hand at me -- clearly trying to rush me into curing it anyway. I had to point out that once cured, she wouldn't be able to fix it. Only then did she go back, reluctantly, and clean it up. 3. Sloppy application. The polish coats were wildly uneven -- thick in some spots, missing entirely in others. I didn't take photos in the moment because I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and didn't want to seem rude. 4. Bumpy, unfinished result. By the final coat, the surface was visibly bumpy from the uneven layering underneath. Annie actually told me I didn't need a top coat because my nail was "already thick" -- but my real nails are nowhere close to thick. The bumpiness was a direct result of uneven application, not my nails. To top it off, cured gel was left on my skin because she never cleaned it up. I've attached a photo so you can see the result for yourself. I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere for gel manicures -- and if you do come here, avoid Annie. The service was careless, and her attitude when I raised concerns was dismissive.

When I mentioned it to the owner she told me that many customers complain about her but because she's a senior, I should understand. When I was leaving I truthfully just forgot to tip her, honestly I always tip no matter what. All of the staff stopped me before I could leave to ask where her tip was!!! Which in my option is a little nervy.I promise even though she was very rude it was just an oversight. They know I always tip! They actually made a scene of it. One of the owners is constantly screaming across the room while you're trying to have a relaxing service. Taking phone calls while doing your nails and stops working on you to talk or write down appointments.
