They didn't seem approachable, which I think is important for a store with so many different products that people will probably have questions about. I think this affects them negatively as it's hard to get a smile from the checkout folks who just mechanically do their jobs (with one long time employee "Go....a" being the exception). There is no sense at all that they enjoy working at this WF. I purchase bread here and it is good, but the area is usually understaffed. Sometimes, there is a 5-6 minute wait to just find someone to slice the bread. Believe me, I'd much rather shop at WF than TJ's, but the staff members at TJ's are quantum leaps better in terms of their consistent friendly customer relations and service. Having said all this, I will say that this WF location's meat counter and produce staff members are the exception....they are very good and helpful.
