They also have a small play area, which is nice if you have kids with you and have to wait for your prescription. There have been times when they have not had a specific prescription and were able to order it and have it ready the next day. Lindsay is beyond helpful. She's great at answering questions for prescriptions as well as otc meds. I actually asked her about bandages...after a surgery, I needed to change dressings, but the bandages were seriously irritating my skin. After finding one specific type of bandage that worked for me, I asked Lindsay if they had any. They only had one or two rolls in stock, so she ordered me several and kept special ordering them as long as I needed her to. She's always friendly and helpful. The front staff is usually great too. I took one star off because I recently needed a prescription that they didn't have. They said I would need to call different pharmacies to try to find someone who had it. I honestly didn't even know where to begin...It was already a very stressful situation and I think it would have been nice of them to call to find someone who had it since they were out. Other than that, we are pretty pleased with our small town pharmacy.

Anyway, Eagle Highland Pharmacy, known to me online as Ostomy Care Supply, was very helpful getting me set up, letting me know what they needed to process the claim and what that process was. I try not to cut it close, but the shipments do come fairly quickly so that wouldn't be a problem, and the claims have gone through fine. If I lived close, I would try them out as my local pharmacy.

The first six prescriptions filled in 1885 hang framed on the wall surrounded by vintage pharmaceutical bottles. The pharmacy provides vaccines as well as fills prescriptions. The store also sells a great selection of Hallmark cards and gifts, local postcards, candy and nuts. While the photo shop within the drugstore closed years ago, a collection of vintage cameras is displayed on shelves. The Cubbard is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in the rear of the store. The food is down home delicious. You see the same friendly faces every visit. Cowan's is an amazing locally owned business and worth a visit. There is free street parking.

I get there and I told them I had hypothyroidism in the past. They did not know how to understand my labs and had me panicked that I was very ill. They referred me to an endocrinologist. I came home and looked at labs I've had in the past and when I saw what they were so alarmed about, it was from my hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism. As HCPs, why didn't they know that?? Now, they've had my labs for 2 weeks. The pharmacist orders two hormone creams...but they don't have one of them in stock. Why not? You had my labs for TWO WEEKS. Do you NOT look at them to see what they said BEFORE I showed up? And if you did, WHY didn't you order what I needed? Like who does inventory around there. So, after 5 days, I call and ask for the status because I haven't heard anything. They said I should get a text that day and if not, call back. I got the text on Wednesday and have been waiting for my medication. I called yesterday evening and left a message stating I had not received it. I get a call today saying it was marked "pick-up." I don't know why because I told the pharmacist twice I wanted it mailed to me because it would take 40-45 minutes for me to get there due to construction. They said they are mailing it today. So my ex and I each independently visited this store on Westfield in Broad Ripple, spoke to the owners about their products, and decided together to make the switch. Several things set American Shaman products apart, as I understand it, and there are likely more. These are the factors important to us. First, you know how much active ingredient is in the product. With an MLM product we had used prior to the Fresh Thyme brand, that wasn't the case. With the American Shaman Cloud tincture, each 30 ml bottle contains 300 mg CBD, and has a handy measuring dropper such that we can dose 0.5 ml in AM and PM for 1 ml/day. We know we are getting 10 mg/ml, that's 5 mg of CBD each morning and night. Second, their formulation is superior. The nanotechnology is more efficacious and enhances absorption of the active ingredient in your body. It comes in a ton of flavors! For my picky son, that's important. He likes the watermelon flavor. We put it in a little water in a glass, and he drinks it right down. A fourth feature is the price. The product we settled on gives us more than twice as much active per day compared to Plus +CBD oil spray AND is less expensive per bottle and per dose than either of the two previous products we used (including the MLM brand. Duh.) The husband and wife owners are passionate about what they do. They're very knowledgeable and are all about demystifying the product and educating their clientele. They encourage you to sample to zero in on the right product. We have since learned that this is a chain which bums me out only slightly. Their product selection is so much larger than other brands, it's no wonder.

I can't speak for the other products as we've only ever purchased oil, but they sell a number of other hemp and CBD products, including CBD gummies, CBD creams and lotions, and other things. The woman who works here is very friendly and will work with you to find a product that will help you.
