    Matcha Latte & Peppermint Mocha

They're baaaaaack Honeybee was in the news cycle for a hot minute this year. What a rollercoaster. New investor, closed, investor departed, new investors, reopened, and now they seem back to normal. Their drinks are consistent and the Matcha Latte is among the best I've had. (Take that Camp Coffee in Oceanside, CA, IYKYK) The staff is always friendly, efficient and consistent. This location is big, yet welcoming with lots of places to work or just chill and have a coffee.

This is a really cute coffee shop and I love the honey bee theme. The inside is spacious with cool artwork and a board with all the cool things happening in town. There are plenty of seats to hangout and enjoy your latte. The baristas were friendly too which is a plus. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, I thought it was okay. I ordered an iced brown sugar latte for my grandma and she enjoyed it. We also ordered a matcha with oat milk which my aunt enjoyed.

Okay. I have gotten cold brew from this location several times but never had the opportunity to enjoy the inside of this unique space. My cold brew experience was honestly a 3 (always immediately watered down, even while simply leaving the shop), but the space itself and my hot latte with a half pump of mocha today was incredible. Modern yet cozy interior in a building that used to be an auto repair shop. It now has a huge bar area, tables galore, and multiple seating spaces in back and a patio. It's a great space for sitting and working or catching up with a friend.

My first time to Honeybee this past weekend. I stopped in late morning for my cappuccino fill, and it was absolutely hopping inside. Loved the vibes of this transformed gas station and especially the huge mural of Marilyn Monroe on the back wall. The barista, Olive, who was making my cappuccino was just a sweetheart. She complimented me on my coat and my handmade poppy pin. Nothing beats a yummy cappuccino paired with fantastic service. Will definitely have to come back and try some of their beers that they brew here as well.

I have to update my past review. Honeybee is probably my favorite coffee shop in West Knoxville because the coffee is just really good. They roast their own beans and make delicious espresso drinks. Also, their other food options include an assortment of snacks and treats. If you are looking for a really nice independent coffee shop, Honeybee is one of your best options in West Knoxville / Farragut. Highly recommended.

The parking lot is probably a mess during peak times. On our visit, we went near lunchtime and we were able to grab one of the last spots in the lot. When we walked in, we were quickly greeted. The baristas asked if we wanted beers or coffee. We were there for coffee. One suggestion would be to have more menus available. They only had one. The honey lavender iced coffee with cream was what I ordered. It was FANTASTIC! The price was okay for what you get. All of the drinks that were coming out smelled and looked delicious. There were a wide range of people in there. The people watching was pretty good. I would recommend coming here.

Like my last post said I would, I'm here for the second time and I brought my husband to try. We bought a Brown Sugar Latte for him and since we purchased a bag of beans, I received a FREE drip coffee. I chose the Honduras drip. My husband is a coffee snob and he approved of his latte. We enjoyed our beverages on the couches and relaxed. Considering this is a hip coffee shop, it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. There's music playing in the background and some chatter from people nearby. This is our first time purchasing their beans! I can't wait to try it out!

Cute little coffee shop in Farragut does have their own parking but can be limited. However, there is a golds gym right behind it that has plenty of parking if needed. I've been here several times working on schoolwork. I absolute favorite thing that I get is the maple oatmilk latte. Just trust me. It's a little sweeter, but so good. I was very intrigued by the coffee/brewery but it works well. They also have trivia nights every week and singo well. Very fun vibe and seems to be where the locals are. At first it seems a little bit small and like there aren't that many tables, but there is a back room and even a back patio as well.

Cute coffee shop and also offers beers on tap! Alternative milk options are oat and macadamia. Small parking lot but tons of seating inside.

I stopped in on a really nice day, and Honeybee had their garage doors open. It was a nice place to hang out for the afternoon. I tried a seasonal drink, the habanero maple latte. I felt like it was a little risky because I've had some heavy handed spiced coffees before. However this drink was perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet or too spicy, but you could also still taste the coffee. I would recommend if you're looking to shake up you're regular coffee order.

Ask the Community - Honeybee Coffee

Will Honeybees coffee and wonderful lattes be back or did it get sold to make some other place out of this special nice smelling honey place?

There was an ownership change that made the Knox News if you search there that explains it. It's rather complicated. Sevier Ave and Sevierville locations are still open for now until it gets sorted.

It was fairly busy when I visited, and there was a line to get beer, which isn't a problem. I happen to see a friend of mine waiting in line to get a beer. I walked over to speak with him. We hadn't seen each other in probably five or six years. Another guy cut in line right in front of him before he could get his beer. Then, when it was my friends turn, the bartender (Josh) was less than friendly. I realize that they're just pouring beer, but the gentleman was decidedly unfriendly, he did not smile even once; he did not even indicate that he was ready to take an order in anyway by acknowledging us with a look or anything. Heck, he didn't even speak to us. Honestly, he was just rude & beyond unfriendly. I don't get it. If you do not like your job, get a new one. If you don't like pouring beer for people (which does seem like a super great job), get a different job. The fact that he would be there on what appeared to be a fairly busy night, which is good for the business, and be so unpleasant is beyond my comprehension. So, the beer selection is very eclectic, with something for everyone. It's super great that you can buy beer to go. The female bartender was awesome. I'm conflicted on what sort of review that I should give Admiral pub, because there were so many positive aspects to it, except Josh pretty much ruined the entire experience by his sour demeanor (although I adore sour beers) and persistent scowl.

I counted 23 taps of beer at the bar, virtually every style is covered, an impressive number and the three we tried were excellent. I had the West Coast IPA and my wife had the Oktoberfest and the Black Rice Lager. The service was excellent. Instead of going for the pizza, which they have a lot of, we went with the Pretzel and beer cheese which my wife liked better than I did. The real star was the Muffuletta sandwich which hands down was the best version of this sandwich I've ever had. The Olive spread had diced jalapeño in it so pretty spicy and oh so good. So between the many taps and that sandwich, CBB West gets a five star.

It's one of my favorite cuisines, so I was excited to try this place after finding it on Yelp. It was my last night in town on a work trip, and I finally had a little time to unwind on my own before heading home the next day. As soon as I walked in, I could tell from the atmosphere that I had found the right spot. I sat at the bar and was greeted almost immediately by the bartender (Laura M.), who was friendly and attentive throughout. The couple of other patrons nearby were also welcoming. At this point, I'm starting to think that might just be a Knoxville thing. This was my third trip to the city, I think, and I've had a similar experience each time. I ordered the Scotch egg with blueberry compote and the cottage pie with a side of onion gravy. I would have liked a little more sausage on the Scotch egg, but that is about the only critique I can come up with. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and both are dishes I would absolutely order again. I also tried a couple of local beers: a PB&J sour from XUL Beer Company that somehow really did taste like drinking a PB&J sandwich, and the Dr. Robot Blackberry Lemon Sour from Monday Night Brewing. Both were excellent. Overall, this was a great experience, and I'll definitely be looking for a reason to come back to Knoxville just so I can eat here again.
