I recently had the opportunity to visit Doctor Stephen Kuzmak for dental work. I previously had…read moretwo root canals performed by an endodontist in Timonium and it didn't go great and in return caused breakage to my teeth. I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. If you are in need of any dental work and have a fear that there may be pain, or you are in search of quality dental service Dr. Kuzmack of Towson View Dental Care should be your #1 choice! On Thursday 12/27/2012 I had to get 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed and was extremely nervous,…read moreseeing as how through the grace of GOD I have never had any type of surgery performed on my body. Some may call it a small job but to me it was huge. I had my work done by a maxillofacial, oral surgeon by the name of Bernard Ian Krupp,DDS at the Krupp Center. I must say walking in I was fine and they made me feel very secure and trusting in them. However, once I sat in the chair the gitters started to kick in; the nurse knew it when I asked to use the bathroom. She said "hurry back and don't run out on us". ahhahahaahhahaha! It was so ironic because that is exactly what I was thinking almost like she was reading my mind. Just as well I know I wasnt the only one who has been like this. After the restroom i sat back down nervouslly. Once she place the mask on my face for sedation, I started to become more relaxed of coarse. Almost like I had a couple shots of vodka, lol. Oddly enough I never felt like I went to sleep, when I woke up I said to the surgeon "when am I suppose to fall asleep"? He started laughin and says, "were done Mr. Stephens". Well once it was over I felt so relieved that it was done and the process was successful. I have been following all the rules that the surgeon have set for me and the healing is coming along very well. Oddly, I have not had any swelling, which may be due to the amount of ice I have had on my face. Secondly, I have codeine, amoxicillin and ibuprofen that I have been taken. Ironically, with all these medications I'm taking I still feel normal; even after the surgery I was walking and talking regular. I just would like to say the Krupp Center is highly recommended not just by me but from other reviews. The dentist I visited prior to the Krupp Center informed me that they would have to break my jaw bone to remove the teeth because of how impacted it was (they were literally facing horizontal). The Krupp Center didnt take more than 30mins for the surgery and they didnt have to break my jaw bone. So if you or anyone you know needs to have their wisdom teeth removed inform them to take a look at the Krupp Center.

Do not go to Dr. Julius Hyatt…read more I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Hyatt at the Cockeysville Location. Everything went well. However, four days post op I was experiencing a significant amount of pain in my lower right extraction site (way worse than the other three) and so I decided to schedule an emergency appointment, as I was worried it could be a dry socket. I met with him at the Towson location for this appointment, and immediately could tell he was having a busy day and was not in the mood to deal with my issue. He had a very condescending tone and demeanor throughout the appointment, and when I expressed my concerns I felt like I was constantly talked over. He expected me to have the knowledge of an oral surgeon when I very much am not, and he barely looked inside my mouth to check on the state of the incisions. I explained that his tone felt condescending and he was exasperated. I then asked to leave and he went to a colleague and said "she called me condescending!" (this was verified to me by another colleague at the practice). I left and then decided to return with my mother present, and my mother was able to experience his lack of bedside manner first hand. He was rude to my mother, so much so that even she had to say something to him about it. I have never felt more disrespected by a medical professional in my life. This was my first experience undergoing surgery and I am now scared to have any more procedures done due to fear of having a doctor that doesn't care for my pain or concerns.

MISLEADING - I am sitting outside of Aspen Towson. Where it says "Walk-ins? Come on in…read more Emergency? We got you." I just came here because it advertised on Google that walk-ins are welcome. I don't think it's right to have people trek the way over here and then tell people that they cannot be seen on the same day. I just had my last molar pulled and don't have a way to eat and explained that to the staff. The best they could offer me was three weeks out. I need to be able to eat and it was my thought that I could not do anything until this tooth was finally removed. I was vegan for 10 years which destroyed my dental health. I became vegan at the age of 49 and prior to that I never had one cavity during my childhood and up until I was 49 years old. My teeth fell like dominoes after 10 of veganism. It was disappointing to drive 30 minutes to find out that they don't in fact do walk-ins and that perhaps me not being able to eat would not be considered an emergency for them. I am in need of three Maryland and one partial lower plate. least they could've gotten me in for was an exam and then possibly to schedule me for a cleaning before actually doing moles or laser mapping for the bridges and partial denture.w Not really sure how I could've planned this to be any better than what it was. Very disappointing.
