Our lunch for two totalled over $40 with tax and tip, which was about $10 above it's fair value. I won't be quick to return for this reason. Food is consistently good! I love being able to choose exactly what I want in my meal, as someone who is picky it is nice to pick and choose exactly what I want to eat and not have to choose a dish and ask for changes that may or may not be followed. honeygrow Hunt Valley is now open! Luckily for me, there was a social media blitz days prior offering a Training Preview free lunch the day before the grand opening. I'm not one to pass up a free lunch! I arrived during my designated ticketed timeframe and they were busy with others just like me, looking for a free lunch. A very nice woman was checking everyone in then directing us to self ordering kiosks, where James was on standby to assist. He was very helpful with each customer who needed assistance. I ordered the Spicy Garlic Stir-fry, made with egg noodles and roasted chicken, pineapple, parsley, peppers and broccoli. I couldn't resist also ordering a fountain soda and a brownie, all to-go. My order was ready soon after ordering, which I appreciated, considering how busy they were. I took my food home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boxed meal was enough for leftovers. Lunch AND dinner! The stir-fry was tasty and just the right amount of spices. I definitely will return to this location. Today was my first time to try honeygrow and it met my expectations. Delicious. Excellent customer service. The only issue I had was the noise level. It's off the charts loud in there and I had to lean waaay in to hear my name called when my order was up. This location of honeygrow is near my office, so I ordered and picked up a salad from them last week. honeygrow's menu offers noodles and salads, and you can choose from dishes off their menu or make your own. I decided to make my own salad and ordered it on their website for pickup about 20 minutes later. Ordering and pickup was really easy, and I liked the variety of items and ingredients on the menu. The Caesar-ish salad I made was good, but I have one gripe! The containers are filled so far up to the top with lettuce and toppings that you can't toss the salad with the dressing! I poured the dressing in and tried mixing the greens into the dressing with a fork and ended up with a pile of salad on my desk. I tried putting the lid back on and shaking the container but the container was so full the dressing had no where to go. So my dressing stayed in a few clumps and a lot of my salad was dry. Besides letting strangers reading this review know how type A and neurotic I am, the reason I point this out is to encourage you to order your salad already dressed (like I'm going to do next time), rather than ordering it on the side. Because otherwise, honeygrow is a pretty decent little fast casual spot for a quick and healthy-ish lunch! I'll be back but I'm ordering my salad dressed! read more

I do not like this restaurant. I think the food is mediocre and overpriced by 2x at least. That said, I went with a work group that chose this venue. I ordered something standard off their menu. 30 minutes after I ordered, and watched several people who had ordered after me pick up their meal, I was eventually given my order. To her credit, the young woman at the counter was apologetic, and offered me the cup for soda that I already paid for in my order, 25 minutes in to the wait, but this was ridiculously too late. Half the people in my group had already finished their lunch and the other half were nearly done (after eating for 15-20 minutes while I waited). I did not want to go in the first place, and I will certainly not ever go back, whether I'm part of a group or not. I have no idea how my food was, because it got shoved in a to go container and our group left. If I could give -5 stars, I would based on service alone. If there was a fund dedicated to shutting down this chain, I would donate to it. Just awful. read more

Visited twice recently, ordering first the seasonal serrano chili shrimp stir fry and then the Asian sesame ginger salad. Portions were generous for both. I'm Asian and was looking for Asian flavors. They were there, but with too much sugar and too much sauce. A good stir fry achieves a balance of ingredients in flavor, color, and texture, and Honeygrow's version was okay, but not something I'll crave. My son's garlic butter noodles were swimming in sauce--too much and too oily. I preferred the shrimp stir fry to the salad. Spicy and satisfying--4 stars for that dish. Good heat and overall seasoning, nice combination of textures, and not nearly as saucy as the other stir fries at our table. Alas, it's already off the menu. In the sesame ginger salad, I could taste ginger, soy, and sesame, but again, too much sweetness and too much dressing. I took home the leftovers to my foodie son, who didn't finish them either. Other minor issues...long wait both times (dinner, then lunch)--use the app to order ahead. As another reviewer noted, the space is so loud it's hard to hear your name being called. And Honeygrow, could you add plain iced tea to your drink options? It would be nice to have something to cut all the sweetness. Will I return? Maybe, but it was pricey for a family (and even just for me), and with other tasty options nearby, it might be a while. read more

We ate in, and were impressed how clean the restaurant is, and that they cleaned each table promptly. So, the food: You order via Kiosk, selecting your food, adding and subtracting items to customize your food. I ordered a seasonal crab bowl with veggies in an old bay broth. I subtracted bell peppers, but apparently they missed that change in their kitchen. My wife ordered a Veggie curry bowl. Most of the broths are SPICY. But we like spice, so it wasn't a big deal for us. They might be able to alter the spice level - ask if this is an issue for you. I'm going back today for more another crab bowl.
