Stopped by KPOT for lunch. For about $21 (as of 2026) per person you can do unlimited Korean bbq for a two hour window. They had a station where you can mix oils, vinegar and all sorts of herbs to build your own sauce. On the food line they had fried chicken, kimchi, fries, daikon, edamame etc. We used the tablet at the table to select our meats and the server brought over rice for us along with our drinks. I went with a lychee martini. The drink was tasty and so were our meat selections. I do wish they had more option for the banchan but for that price point it was still decent. Located across Charles Village Pub (CVP), this was my first time eating at KPOT in Towson. My first time at a KPOT was in Long Island, NY. There, I had a very good experience. When we entered, the space was bigger than I had expected. The host wasn't super friendly upon entering, but better luck next time. To offset that, we were greeted by our friendly waiter D. Throughout our meal, he checked in with us a few times and always had an upbeat and positive attitude. We decided to try both the hot pot and KBBQ, which was an extra $5pp. For hot pot, the both of us went with the Golden Chicken soup base. Delicious ! I tend to order instant ramen at hot pot restaurants since I don't eat it at home, and the noodles soaked in the flavors perfectly. It wasn't the easiest to operate the electric stovetop so I ended up overcooking the noodles towards the end, but now I know. Maybe ask for instructions since the workers don't really explain anything to you, just that you order everything off a tablet. The hot pot food was overall pretty satisfying. Rice cakes, ramen, scallops, squid, beef brisket, watercress, and sliced pumpkin were some of my favorites. The KBBQ was a bit more disappointing. I think the short ribs were our favorite. Nothing else was great and some pieces tasted a bit funky. Also wasn't a fan of the KBBQ sauce. The hot food bar was also a bit disappointing. The one in Long Island was fantastic. Came here at 6pm om a Friday evening around the holidays and was seated right away. We had a choice of korean bbq, hot pot or both. Our group of 4 decided on just korean bbq. The waitress was in charge of our drinks while ordering meats and sides was through an ipad-type system. I personally loved this way to order as we didn't have to wait for someone to come by. The meats were all of reasonable quality and the marinades were great (the garlic pork was *chefs kiss*). This was my first time doing bbq at kpot, but have been at other places. I appreciated that the portions were small, so you didn't feel like the table had to eat 10 lbs of bugolgi. Instead, just order a couple servings of what you like. I also lived the seafood on the menu! There is public parking across the street or street parking that is free after 6pm. Will definitely be back. read more

This was my first time doing hot pot where you had your own personalized pot instead of the big communal pot in the center of the table. First you select your broth type. I opted for the spicy chili broth. Then you select your meats and veggies from the iPad provided at your table. Plenty of fresh Chinese broccoli, bok choi, mushrooms, and other veggies to choose from. For meats, I stuck with beef belly and brisket. They had snow crab legs in the buffet area, in addition to some other fried foods. The convenience of having an iPad where you place your next order of meats and veggies kept things moving along nicely. I was so stuffed when we finished. Great experience! read more

We've tried others and I've decided that kpot is the only one I trust. Kbbq and hot pot in one. All you can eat. Food orders come out quickly. And you have two hours to stuff yourself. A huge make your own sauce bar. I'm the sauce boss in this relationship haha. The place is surprisingly smoke free for the amount of meat being cooked at one time. At the Kpot in Towson, you can get either hot pot or a Korean barbecue or pay an additional $5 per person for both options. Frankly, lunch (M-F until I think 4 pm) is the most cost-effective at $19.99 per person. Dinner prices are $29.99 per person. There is ample seating at this location. Our waitress/server was very nice and fairly attentive. I wish the music wasn't quite so noisy, as it can be very hard to hear and we came on a Friday at lunch time when there weren't very busy. The selection of appetizers is pretty minimal (French fries, spring rolls, some churros) and the dessert selection is even less so which is a bit disappointing. They have some fruits to pick from like orange slices and melon or honey dew but nothing to write home about. There are a variety of sauces that you can pick and mix as well as kimchi. Some meat (like bulgogi) seem slightly better seasoned than others (like pork belly). Korean BBQ isn't the healthiest meal per se but overall we had a good time and as mentioned, I think the weekday lunch price is much more cost-effective than the dinner prices. read more

Absolutely disregard any negative reviews, especially the one from Jeff H! I've been at Kpot Towson multiple times, with friends and family. I was there when the ordeal occurred in the review left by Jeff, and it is absolutely not true and did not go that way! The person who left the complaint was extremely rude to the staff and especially the management. Not to mention they didn't even eat there and walked out after causing a disturbance! Worst service with the worst manager! We love K-pot and therefore decided to celebrate my little cousin's Birthday there. We called ahead and asked for a reservation to which they said they do not take reservations; which is fine. We got there early to find a table for 10 people. This is where the problems begin. We were sat down at a table for 8 people with 8 pots, even though we had 10. They then attached two seats on the ends without hot pots. That means two people will not get to eat hot pot. We asked the employees for a different table to which we were denied due to availability (Many tables were open and unreserved) and not meeting the required amount of people for a larger table. The manager then comes out and boldly lies to our face that the tables we wanted were all reserved. We even asked other employees who confirmed reservations are not allowed. The manager also stated if we ate at the 8 top table, we would be charged for 10 hot pot even though there were only 8 pots! The manager ended up ruining my little cousins birthday! You can ask for them to change your bbq plate if it gets smelly or burnt. Lunch is $10 cheaper but not all items are available. Still good though. Metered parking outside at $2 per hour, 3 hrs max during certain hours. Not much people if you arrive as soon as they open on weekdays, even in summer. All of the food was very fresh and came out so quickly. Once you place your initial order with your waiter, any additional items you want to order are placed through a tablet on the table. It's so convenient that your order can be sent to the kitchen without having to wait for someone, especially if the restaurant is busy. You still have a waiter tending to you throughout your time there. There is a two hour dining limit and the timer is displayed on the tablet. You do have to watch the BBQ like a hawk, since it can burn very quickly. They will change that for you, and our server did changed that for us about 2 times. I love Kpot! I like going to this location because it's a shorter wait than Catonsville, and the employees are just as sweet. The food comes out just as quickly, too. My main complaint is the buffet. The chicken is never out, and when it is, it's not good. They have crab legs, but sometimes that's not there either. The buffet needs more love. I don't know if this is a franchise because Catonsville always has a stocked buffet, and the chicken is delicious. But this location is much closer to me. I'd love to have a similar experience with the buffet. I like the restaurant setup better, as well. The hot pot broth and grill food are delicious, though. read more

We visited this KPOT location after our friend received an email about their Junior Griller Days promotion. He's only subscribed to promotions specifically for the Towson KPOT location, so we assumed the offer was valid here. When we arrived, we showed the email to the hostess, but she said she wasn't familiar with the promotion and called the manager. The manager wasn't sure about it either and asked us to wait while he looked into it. As we were waiting, the hostess told us they could seat us, so we thought the issue was resolved. However, after we were seated, the waiter informed us that the manager decided they couldn't honor the promotion. At that point, we chose to leave. I'm frustrated with how poorly this situation was handled. If the restaurant wasn't going to honor the promotion, they shouldn't have sent the email to subscribers in the first place--or at the very least, they should've clarified that it wasn't valid at this location. Seating us only to reject the promotion felt like a waste of time and left a bad impression. I don't think I'll be coming back here. There are better options for hotpot and Korean BBQ in the area, and honestly, this isn't even authentic Korean BBQ. read more
