    kimchi fried rice

Oh... I really wanted to like this place because my bf and I drove over 2 hours specifically to try Honeymoon Tea Bar, but I'm debating between 3-4 stars. I'll give 4 stars because the staff was nice and at least my bf liked everything. The reason for removing a star is because the Thai tea was bland and tasted burnt, leaving an aftertaste to the point that I couldn't drink more than a few sips. The kimchi fried rice felt like it was not authentic, but besides that, the sausage overpowered the entire dish and the kimchi was too mild to carry the flavor through. (FYI, this didn't affect my review, but just informing that the kimchi fried rice no longer comes with a fried egg. In the cafe's defense, the menu lists the ingredients as only rice, kimchi, sausage- BUT all the photos on their Yelp menu include the egg) Otherwise, service was good. Our order was ready really quickly, within five minutes. The corn croquette and sweet potato fries (paired with the sweet Chili sauce) were delicious! And my bf liked his royal milk tea

The young lady that attended us was very helpful and kind. It was our first time here and she explained the menu items to us. We ordered the Hokkaido latte and a blueberry lemonade with rainbow jelly. The order was a bit under $14. While we waited for our drinks we took a look around. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was very neat and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They sell keychains, artwork and something about a Japanese game, I wasn't totally sure but it said everyone was a winner. The Hokkaido was a bit too sweet to me. It kind of tasted like kettle corn to me and I tend to like darker coffee. Just an individual preference. The blueberry lemonade was perfect and the rainbow jelly was a great addition. The cups are big and cute. I'm planning on reusing mine to put my paint brushes in. Overall I'd love to come back and try different drinks. It's definitely worth trying out and they even have a point system towards free drinks!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little boba shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] love the oolong milk tea! Also surprised it wasn't sugary which is just how I like it. This is such a cute cup if you don't finish your boba you can always store for later. Kinda want to try the fried tofu next time I come!

This place is ok. I was exited to try this place based on the reviews. To me, it was just ok. I ordered the traditional black milk tea, and it was so sweet, and I ordered only 25% sweet. I tossed it in the trash after only finish half of it. It is not worth $7 for a basic boba tea. The boba itself was good. There was no popcorn chicken available. I waited a very long time for 1 boba tea, 20 minutes, when there was only 3 people ahead of my. The restaurant itself was very hot. It was just a sub par experience. The drinks are not worth $7. Maybe $5. I won't return.

Honeymoon Tea Bar is one of the 3 boba shops that I found in Hesperia. It's a hip boba place... love the bright yellow wall color... guess it matches with their mascot BEE LOL. Got a few drinks and couple food items. Royal Milk Tea with lychee... milk tea tastes great, but lychee was way too sweet. Caramel Milk Tea with boba was okay... the milk flavor wasn't as smooth as the royal milk, boba was soft and chewy. Taro Coconut Smoothie with egg pudding was good, but thought it was a tad overly sweet for me... may need to reduce % of sweetness next time. We always get our boba drinks without ice and with regular sweetness... that's our mo. Also got some Gyozas and a Shrimp Rice Bowl. Gyozas were small in size for the price IMHO. Shrimp Rice Bowl was just shrimp over rice with an egg (that is what we bought LOL)... portions was small for the price again. They have two cup sizes... a really tall one and a normal one... don't remember the ounces. We got the tall one LOL! Staff was very friendly and helpful with their suggestions. Prices are reasonable... not too bad. Parking is plenty. I signed up for their rewards program so I will definitely be back to try their other drinks. If you're nearby and/or on your way to/from Las Vegas, swing on by and get some honey boba bee-ness LOL. Happy Honeymoon'ing!

Such a nice family own this business. The food is good, But the drinks are Soooo delicious. Of all the boba spots in the high desert, hands down Honeymoon Tea Bar is a great choice! Staff is nice. I still recommend people to try.

This isn't my first time here, tbh it's been a couple of times that I've been here and I could say that I'm pleased that there's a boba spot in the high desert. It's gotten to be my go to when it comes to boba in Hesperia, love the drinks and love how large is, it's gotten to be the point where my coworkers are telling me to buy it for them before I go to work lol. The only thing I would I didn't I didn't like was how expensive the food is, and I'm a sucker for popcorn chicken but tbh I could get popcorn chicken at a different location that is inexpensive. Service is slow even if I do go in early, I normally order ahead of time but still have to wait at least 5mins before getting everything. Recently they have this Gatcha prizes, you pay for a ticket and you can win an anime figure which I thought it's pretty cool.

Honeymoon Tea Bar is such a cute business with big windows, bright yellow walls, lots of seating, (inside and out), great music and anime decor. Great place to just hang out with friends. I got the fruit teas, peach green tea with aloe vera and a passionfruit green tea with aloe vera. I also got the gyoza, delicious. If anything, the gyoza is what will keep me going back; other places fry their Gyoza but here, they steam it - so much better. The service was great. The cashier who took my order was patient, friendly & knowledgeable. She also informed me that they just opened a new location on Bear Valley Road & Hesperia Road. This business looks very promising.

Love this place. My new favorite spot to get boba. The boba doesn't have a super sweet brown sugar taste like others I've tried, and their drink flavors aren't overpowering sweet either

I loved this place Even tho I wasn't able to sit down and stay there (due to COVID-19) I ordered taro milk tea with egg pudding , caramel milk tea, and green milk tea. It was all delicious! I'll defiantly be back

I visited this establishment today, as my family and I do quite regularly, to order three drinks…read more We typically order between two and four drinks, and we consistently add boba to each one. Unfortunately, today's experience fell well below the level of service and attention to detail I have come to expect from this establishment. While placing my order, the younger employee repeatedly asked me to repeat myself. I specifically requested boba in all three drinks. One of the drinks was a Thai tea, for which I also requested no ice because I intended to refrigerate it and enjoy it later. Given the difficulty communicating my order, I chose not to leave a tip today, despite regularly leaving a 15% tip for the service I receive. Before my order was completed, I noticed that a customer who ordered after me received his three drinks before mine. At that point, the employee looked at me and then appeared to only be beginning the third drink of my order. When I finally received my drinks, only one--the chamango--had been prepared as requested. The mango-pineapple smoothie was missing the requested boba, although thankfully I was not charged for it. The Thai tea did have boba and no ice as requested; however, it was noticeably underfilled compared with the other drinks and was not satisfactory. I therefore respectfully requested a refund for that drink. The older Asian woman who appeared to be overseeing the establishment seemed surprised by my request. I calmly explained what was incorrect and why I was dissatisfied with that Thai tea drink. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, and offering a simple resolution, she remained silent and unapologetic. That response was particularly disappointing because I would expect someone in a management or leadership position to take ownership when an order is not fulfilled correctly. I work in customer service myself, and I understand how important communication, attention to detail, accountability, and professionalism are. If I or one of my employees makes a mistake, I believe the appropriate response is to acknowledge it, apologize, and promptly make it right. Customers should receive exactly what they ordered--not a partial fulfillment of their order. I am posting this primarily as constructive feedback and, hopefully, as an opportunity for management to use this experience for future training. Every customer should receive the same level of respect, courtesy, and attention regardless of whether they choose to leave a tip. There should never be any form of retaliation, whether through the handling of an order, the order's place in line, or the quality of service provided. I will give the business account holder an opportunity to respond before deciding whether my family and I will continue bringing our business here. I sincerely hope this can be addressed professionally and constructively.

The young lady who took my order was pleasant and efficient. Luckily they weren't too busy so no long wait time. I got 3 drinks; 2 for my daughters and 1 for me. I usually get our drinks with no ice, but they charge extra for no ice so I got them with easy ice instead. I don't recall other It's Boba Time locations to charge extra for no ice. It must be new or it's just this location... not 100% sure. Anyway, all our drinks were delightful. It was my first time trying the Coffee Milk Tea. No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.

Each with its own personalities and menu, but still great service. So, before I discuss this location (Hesperia Location) on Bear Valley Road in the parking lot of Desert Valley Hospital, do keep in mind there is one near Victor Bowling (Victorville location) and another on Main Street (another Hesperia location). Let's talk about this EXPRESS location. That's what it is: a smaller menu with the same quality ingredients and in a smaller location. It shares its space with offices associated with the hospital, so be sure to sit in Organic Fusion Tea designated areas if you choose to sit for a bit. Upon arriving, you will see a Kiosk that you may order from. You may also enter to see their menu neatly written on a chalkboard (using marker, of course) and order from the Organic Tea employees. As for the atmosphere, this place is tiny. Maybe, just maybe, you will see Desert Valley Hospital employees waiting for their drinks as you scroll through the kiosk to place your order or read the menu. Today, I tried the Lavender Milk Tea and I made my modifications on the kiosk. It was made perfectly. There are other menu items I have not seen at the Apple Valley location, so I would like to return and try them. Such menu items include Happy Tea and Elder Healer, both of which I think are good marketing items for being in the same parking lot as a hospital. Food is not served here. The location is too small and can not accommodate a kitchen. Drinks is it's priority and it's called Express for a reason: it serves up the simple, quality drinks. Highly recommend if you are on the go and need a quick, organic, Tea drink.
