This was the second time I've had a sugar Brazilian with tanna and I have to say she's been the best; she's fast and efficient which is of the upmost importance when getting these types of services, sugar wax is less painful for than traditional wax, And the most important part is she gets every little hair which is the point of getting a Brazilian. I have never had a spray tan because I was so nervous about it. I didn't want to be splotchy and orange and I feared the whole process would just be so awkward. Wow, I was wrong. Lauren did such an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable. They have custom color options and it is a really nice set up with a special fan so you aren't breathing it all in. Don't go here for a lash lift. I don't know if it was her first time doing it, but my eyelashes weren't lifted at all. They are just kinked at the ends, which makes it even harder for me to curl them now without them looking weird. It also seemed like I ended up with more serum on my face than on my actual lashes. I really wanted to love this place, but the results were so disappointing. One star for the super friendly staff. read more

Terrible waxing. The room wasn't particularly clean, and the person who waxed was indifferent to my concerns. Her waxing was so rough it broke my skin and caused bleeding. She didn't even get all the wax off my skin. I don't recommend Honey's at all. It's cute, but I didn't feel welcomed or taken care of at all, which seems pretty fundamental. read more

I always request Clara because I love that she asks me what I want the outcome to be like. This was my first time at Honey's, but not my first time sugaring, and I have to say Clara was one of the best I've experienced. She is super sweet and professional, and it was one of the least painful waxes I've had. She also helped me figure out a plan to reshape my eyebrows and showed me how to shade them in during the awkward regrowth stage. The place is super cute and they carry a great line of products, too. The receptionist was really helpful in recommending a serum and lotion that would help me with regrowth and preventing in-growns. It was a great experience! I got an eyebrow wax here for the first time. I've heard about Honey's for years and was excited to finally try them out. I had 50% off with my Axxess Card, so the normal $22 cost was reduced to $11. I don't know if it was a discount bias or what, but the eye brow was NOT done well at all. The woman who I had the appointment with (Carla, I think is was), told me my eyebrows needed to grow in a bit and that she'll wax around those areas. I said sure, I'll leave a few hairs if that's what she thinks will look good. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. She didn't touch the space between my brows at ALL, not even to pluck a few very noticeable hairs. It was totally incomplete. The next day, I was at a nail salon and they asked me if I wanted a brow wax. I think that says everything. Finally, when I got home and looked in the mirror, I noticed she left two shiny, red burn marks on my brows. She burned my skin off with the wax! This appointment was 2 days ago, and I'm in a wedding tomorrow. Those burn marks will definitely still be there in the photos, and who knows for how long after. The only reason this place got 2 stars was because the receptionist was very nice, and the salon itself was clean and well-decorated. But the service was shit. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Honeys!!! I see Tanna (spelling?) for sugaring my bikini area and she is amazing. She always makes me fell comfortable and she is so thorough! She is also amazing at brows, I really don't care how far I am ever away from Santa Barbara I will make to the drive to have her do my brows she is that good at them. It's a bit pricey, but compared to other salons and what you get it is well worth the money. Also what I really appreciate is they very rarely ask if I want to buy products from there, no pressure at all. Honey's came highly recommended by a co-worker, but I must say I was disappointed. Got a brow and Brazilian and it was one of the most painful and longest waxes I've had, and I've been getting waxes for many years and, as a traveling nurse, from many different salons across the country. And lucky for me it wasn't my first time and don't need to be put at ease with small talk, since there was none of that. On the plus side, it was very thorough. Honeys is the only place I go now for Brazilian waxes and airbrush tans. I used to jump around from place to place for waxing, because I would alllwaaayyys get ingrown hairs--and that's not sexy at all. I hardly ever get ingrown hairs from getting a sugar wax with Christine. My skin tolerates it so much better! I also recently tried another spray tan place because I had a 50% off coupon there--and even though that other salon had good reviews on yelp, my spray tan did not turn out nearly as well as when Christine does it at Honeys. I never ever have had a single streak or orange-ish color from getting airbrushed at Honeys. So now I know I will never try another place again! Even if you are fair-skinned like me, you can still get a nice brown color :) read more
