While I only visited with my boyfriend, it is clear that honeysuckle hill farm is a family favorite just outside the city. It's not your typical farm with just a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and food for purchase; they have all that and so much more! A small haunted house experience, hay ride, flower patch where you can pick flowers, pig racing, games, scattered animatronics performing music, and much more. For a young couple we spent about 2 hours wandering around, and the ticket price felt fair to us. I'd imagine with young kids the experience would be even more enjoyable. The only downside is the activities aren't exactly Disney World level attractions, and feel very homemade, but it's part of the charm! read more

Do not go! Overly expensive. You buy a card to do the extra activities, but only 1 of the 6 were open. You think they would tell you as you purchase the stamp card. We came here on a Saturday during the fall for the Fall Festival. My gal pals and I had a great time. We came in the afternoon and stayed for several hours. We didn't have any issues parking and then checked in with ease as we bought our tickets online. We made it in time to see the pig races which was adorable. Then we checked out the fun attractions that included the hayride, large corn maze, pumpkin patch, bonfire, and swings. We LOVED the swings. There wasn't a line so we were able to go twice in a row. We came in time for the flower patch and were able to take some fun photos together and enjoy the beautiful sunflowers. They did a fireworks show at night and everyone absolutely loved it. The show lasted at least 15 minutes. Since it was warm, we were all thirsty and ordered the apple cider slushies! We were able to drink that on our hayride and enjoy a day out on the farm. They have standard fare like hot dogs, chicken tenders, and popcorn. We look forward to coming back next year. read more

Bought tickets for last Sunday only to get there to the police shutting it down. They have been deleting comments on their Facebook page of people asking what to do with their tickets they paid for. Took my 2 year old son here on a Saturday, but can't say I'll be back while COVID-19 is rampant. Cons: Despite being an outdoor event, there were too many people concentrated in the various areas. No one was wearing masks (staff included). Social distancing was not enforced anywhere, not even in the lines for the different attractions.There did not appear to be any sort of regulation of how many people could enter at a time. No temperatures taken. Pros: Staff was friendly. There were lots of different games and attractions included in the general admission, including a rock climbing wall, corn maize, cow train, playground, trampoline, pumpkin patch, etc, but several attractions close at 6 when the sun sets. On Saturday night there are fireworks once its dark enough. There was also a bonfire. Save $3 by buying your ticket online. Definitely wasn't my steelo and most of the attractions weren't appropriate for my 2 year old. Big kids almost trampled him in the playground area. Also, be prepared to get your clothes and shoes dirty if you decide to go. read more

I'd honestly give 0 stars if it were an option, but it's not. On October 28, 2022, I paid $114.96 entry for my family of 5, based on falsely advertised information on the farm's website stating that they had a "U-pick" pumpkin patch. Upon entrance, we inquired as to the location of the patch and were told there was not one. We immediately requested a refund, as that was the only reason for the visit, and were told that refunds were not given. Seeing as the business falsely advertised their offerings, you'd think they'd do the right thing, but greedily they did not. A follow up phone call was ignored. The farm is overrated and is not worth the price of admission. Any business that lures customers by lying on their website, including Honeysuckle Hill, does not deserve your patronage. read more

My friends and I bought tickets so we could go on Sunday. When I got there, there was a line. That's fine. It's a Sunday afternoon. We decided to wait. However, our waiting got us nowhere. The cops shut down the place for being at capacity and having cars lined up the road. We were told that we could not attend Sunday and would have to come back another weekend. Couple of issues: 1) That's the only weekend my friends and I could go together. 2) What's going to stop this from happening the next time we go? This venue has no control over how many people are able to buy tickets to their farm. They are overselling tickets and don't seem to care. When we all went to ask about refunds on social media, the farm simply deleted the original post and any comment that was made on other posts. They are also ignoring emails and phone calls. Don't waste your time. Find a different pumpkin patch instead. read more

HIGHLY overrated and would give zero stars if I could. Spent 30 minutes trying to get into the parking lot, 30 minutes in line to get in even though we bought tickets online, another 30 minutes for lemonade/pretzel/kettle corn, another 30 minutes for the big slide... my 3 year old only got to do the carousel, the slide, and the tree house village, and then we got 6 bags of kettle corn just to use up our punch cards. People were yelling at the clearly overwhelmed teenagers who were running the attractions when the fault is really on the owners/management that need to establish better protocols. Biggest waste of money I've ever seen, and we will not be returning or recommending this place. Purchased tickets online the day before arriving. Once we got there we realized that there is only one line for entrance and those who need to purchase tickets AND those who have already purchased tickets must go through. We waited 45 minutes just to get through the doors. After entering, we waited 1.5 hours for food and received two cold cheeseburgers. Every attraction was a minimum of a 45 minimum wait. The three things our kids wanted to do most was the pumpkin ride, Ziplines, and hayrides. By the time we got through the gates we found that all of those attractions close at 6:00. If you are a fan of wasting your evening waiting in long lines, go. If not, try Lucky Ladds instead. We will not be back. read more

First time here with my family. There is no handicap parking and it's quite difficult to get around on crutches. We had to wait in a LONG line to get in, even though we purchased ahead of time. It would make much more sense to have a separate line for the people that paid ahead. There was limited places to sit while waiting for my grandson at the various activities. We were disappointed that we couldn't pick our pumpkins out of the field, that's why we drove an hour and a half to get here. In fact, the pumpkins were an additional cost at $.49/lb in addition to the $25 entrance fee. Wish they had a fee for Grandparents that just watch and don't participate. The place was cool and all I guess. Especially if you have kids. Lots of things for them to play on but these people need to get animal control called on them. The had two baby cows there in 2 separate pens. There was no food and their water was disgusting. The babies were skin and bones and looks like they were starving. Besides the 1:45 drive, this farm truly exceeded my expectations. From the clean parking area, the fantastic signage, affordability, spotless restrooms, safety and upkeep of the play area, this was a day well worth taking to attend with a large home school bunch. Our tour started out with a cheerful tour guide. She directed us into the fenced animal area. Bring a handful of quarters if you'd like to feed the animals. After ample time with the animals, we were given a hay ride on one of the sturdiest and longest flatbeds (similiar to a tractor trailer length and width) on a safe slow ride around the property. After exiting there, getting a bathroom break, and getting some refreshments, we were then escorted over to the educational area where we had about a :25 "class" on plants and photosynthesis. *Home school requirement met. From there the kids were hungry, so we ate in one of the large pavilions. There wasn't any problem with finding seating. In fact, I dare to say with the 2 covered pavilions I saw, there must have been close to 100 picnic tables to choose from. TIPS: Take your water bottles with you around the grounds. Snack bar available or you may bring your own. Bring quarters if you'd like to feed the animals. Admission with the big group was $7 per person. Parking was free. Would love to give a review on the actual place but they closed for the day (Sunday the 18th). They did not post anything on their website, online checkout, or social media. I drove 40 min to see a closed sign. A ton of people did and had to turn around and leave because of the inconsiderate and irresponsible people that run this place. Welcome to HoneySUCKle Hill Farm where they put the suck in Honeysuckle. This was our second year visiting here and while last year was underwhelming, this year was just plain disappointing. After 1.5 hours to park and get in and $200 buckaroos later, we were off to the "hay"ride. You are ushered into a very rickety and dilapidated metal box that makes you feel like you are an overfed pig being sent off to slaughter. The hay ride, which I began to call the dirt ride, in fact contained absolutely no hay. It did however contain oodles of dirt which was sprayed into your eyes throughout the grueling ten minute loop that drove you past a pathetically sparse "pumpkin patch" that contained a handful of itty bitty pumpkins split open and rotting. At one point one of my family members suggested we make a run for it but I assume that was expected as we had been securely locked inside the hayless hay transport. The trip ended and we excitedly disembarked the dirt ride. We then proceeded to the trampoline where the line was seemingly endless and the height restrictions ridiculous. Since every single child we brought was too short for, well jumping, we moved on to the animal area where a sickly and depressing baby cow sat panting in the October heat while tiny hands poked and prodded it through a seriously weak gate. From there it was an hour and a half wait for three cardboard bowls of food and some drinks that were supposed to be soda but in fact tasted like old syrup and only cost us $100 bucks. More expensive then Disneyland and way more disappointing, I would say it was quite a deal. Upon our leaving, which can only be done by exiting through the over priced store, we found gratitude to be out of the enclosure that kept us captive for a few hours, hours we would never get back and despite our wallets being quite empty, we felt like the richest people in the world because we knew we would never have to set foot in Suck farms again... We have visited this place several years and our kids enjoy it each year. They have a very large corn maze and several farm animal attractions. There's tree houses, trampolines, swings, hillside slides, and pumpkin patch. The line to get in was long and the food line was too long with only one cashier when we went on a Sunday. Also we bought our tickets on line, but the line was longer and much slower than buying at the gate - the opposite of what you would expect although we saved $3 per ticket. We be waited in line more than 30 minutes to get in once the gates open. read more

It was insanely busy! The lines were crazy. If you wanted a drink, food, snack, etc. you better plan on spending at least an hour in line. They have a lot of fun things for kids to do, but it was seriously overwhelmingly busy. We have a tradition going every year, but I'm not sure we'll be back after this one. read more

Overpriced BIG time & terrible business practices. The admission was overpriced for what they offer, the food was disgusting & overpriced (think gas station food quality). The area where you play with footballs and basketballs (toss through the hole) had mostly deflated balls & definitely not enough balls. BUT, the main issue I had with them was that I hurried my family along to get to the farm so we'd get as much time as possible to get our money's worth, since we couldn't make it till 5:30 & they close at 8p. Well, an older man approached my family at 7:28 (because I looked at my watch in surprise) and said to us, "we are closing down now, it's a bit early but my staff are tired & cold." Are you freaking kidding me?! Who runs their business that way, especially when they charge a price that one would assume means they are professional business owners?! Who lists hours on their website and then closes bc the staff is tired??! They don't care about their customers, obviously. I paid over $175 for 2.5 hours of terrible food and most "attractions" closed when we arrived at 5:30p. We will NEVER be back. *fyi ... I bought an overpriced pretzel that was unexpectedly cold. Spent 45 min getting into parking lot. 45 min waiting in ticket line (even though we had bought them online--no benefit to that). 35 min waiting in any food/beverage line. 20 min waiting for bathroom. 15-30 min waiting for any activity. 40 min trying to get out of parking lot. Well, we won't be going back. I will choose another farm to take our kids to next year. Nothing was open...nothing!! Other than a really underwhelming animal area and a few playgrounds (with slides that we're soaking wet...weren't wiped off). We came today as we do every year with expectations of a great day!!! Unfortunately what we wound up getting was a day of frustration!! We entered as we always do and bought our tickets at the gate because as we were looking online to purchase tickets thinking "hey we will get the free pick two", we realized after processing fees, there was no discount after all!! Then after deciding to purchase the pick two at the door, things went awry from there. First, after paying 93.00 for a family of 5 with a pick two ,for the two kids only, we were thinking it's all good until we got all the way in and noticed all things were not all open that were choices on the pick two. For instance, only one popcorn ground bouncer was inflated not both, the corn pit was closed, the pumpkin train ride was not running, and then the gold mining was shut down because they had no "Gem" dirt available. Then, the zip lines were shut down with no explanation. After that, we noticed a long long line to get food at one concession stand, however there are 6 total in the farm. I understand there's a pandemic going on but there are signs posted everywhere that say basically stay safe so you are doing things at your own risk. My question comes, Why advertise to come for Fall festivities yet have one concession stand open among several, not have all the attractions open for business, and the clencher is be a pumpkin patch but yet not have a patch to pick pumpkins from like every year prior. There was a hayride to go to the pumpkin patch, yet to everyone's confusion we just kept driving and never stopped to even look. Everyone was extremely disappointed especially the kids who were expecting to get to pick out their little own pumpkins. The driver just did a circle around the pumpkins that had been placed in the field and upon asking him at the end of the hayride "What was going on?" He replied with, "You are more then welcome to walk down to the pumpkins and get one, but they are .49 cents a pound." Now anyone who has ever been knows that the size of the pumpkins are usually 1-2 lb pumpkins, but the ones placed in the field are not ones you wanna get stuck carrying back up the hill to purchase as they are large. Again, if you are going to advertise Fall Festivities at a pumpkin patch then you need to be prepared for the crowds and have enough staff to open and meet the expectations of your customers. If you cannot adhere to your advertising, then you need to lower the price and let it be known what things are not available. I hate to see such a wonderful place becoming a money hungry trap. read more

I'm actually writing a review for the farm's new Treetop Canopy Zip Line Tour. My future husband and I went yesterday and had the BEST time. From the moment we got there until the moment our tour ended, we felt that our safety was the #1 priority, which was great considering that jumping off of a platform is not exactly an action that puts your mind at ease. However, it turns out that flying through the trees on a zip line IS as fun as it sounds. Above all, the crew at the farm were friendly and efficient -- we're definitely looking forward to returning to the zip line and to going to the events offered during their fall festival. read more

Very disappointing time at the farm. The reasoning is that the corn maze was in very poor condition and was extremely dried out and bare. We went after 2pm and had to pay $13 per person, which let us believe that there was a lot to do. Nope, the best thing there was the baseball, basketball, and football throwing attraction. I can't blame them for the extremely dusty condition because it was hot for October. On a positive note, the staff was really nice and the drive up to the farm was beautiful. read more
