We had a really good experience at this AMC in Bellevue. We bought our tickets online. I was surprised to have paid less than what I'm used to at the AMCs in California. We also ordered our concessions to be ready when we arrive. Parking was super-easy and free in the large parking lot. We were nicely greeted as we walked in and directed to our theater. Our popcorn and drink cups were ready at the express pick-up shelf. I filled our sodas while the daughter buttered the popcorn. The lobby/concession area was well kept. The theater was super-clean. The a/c was perfect. The recliners seemed newer than other AMCs. They worked well and were very comfortable. We had no issues with the sound or picture quality. All this made for a perfect movie going experience in watching The Odyssey for 3 hours. read more

Every time I went this summer for an early show with the kids, the popcorn was always terrible. It was left over from the night before. The reason I say this is because 1/3 of popcorn was just little pieces and extremely salty. I went to a late showing of a movie on a Friday night. I understand that the theaters may not be the cleanest and most taken care of. But I paid $40 for two tickets and 1 soda to smell mold, sit in a seat with trash in my cushion and cup holder, have a full trash can, and have a disgusting bathroom. This is the theater I go to the most, because I love the seating options. I have airborne nut allergies and the last row only having between 2 and 4 seats depending on the theater set up really helps me to navigate this and avoid people eating my allergens nearby. The seats are comfy and the actual theaters are clean, but the bathrooms are always really dirty and often out of TP. I went to see the first Wicked and I noticed 3 stalls had broken locks and a sink was broken. I went to see the second Wicked and the same 3 stalls locks were still broken + a few more and the sink was still not working... and this was a full year later. I also wish that AMC offered a small popcorn, the regular is still just so big. A regular popcorn and a slurpee will cost you around $20 - which is also wild. Overall this theater has potential, but they just need to do some maintain and some cleaning. Also, if their corporate office would allow a smaller popcorn size it would also be great! read more

By far worst movie experience in years from start to finish. We saw Michael on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 1:00. Hard time getting tickets online in advance. Entering the theatre, the staff was uniformed, not helpful with knowledge of the theatre showings. We sat in the wrong one for 10 minutes. The popcorn was stale. Drinks (wine) way over priced. My seat did not function properly so I had to switch it. Surprising all of that was not the worst part. We waited an hour for the main feature to begin. An hour from the stated start time of the movie! What a waste. By the time we got out, it was almost dinner time. We were so excited to go see the new Avatar movie and sadly, we chose this theater. Four of us cost $65 for a matinee, which is a splurge for us. We planned ahead and picked perfect center seats. When we arrived half of them did not work/recline. I had to wait in a long concession line to try to swap seats because there were only two people working. By the time I made it up there, I had to wait for the ONE person who could help. many others came and bought tickets while I waited. They never came to help. by the time the cashier admitted she could block seats off for me, we were left with end seats in the back. Had we known that was going to be our seating, we would not have splurged on these tickets. Our seats weren't clean either. We won't be back. read more

The AMC Bellevue theater is a great addition to One Bellevue and has certainly become an anchor for the entire plaza! Since moving to West Nashville, this AMC has become our go-to theater after we tested a few others in the area out, with little success might I add. We were spoiled with full service/dine-in theaters back in Atlanta and while this location does not have the food service, it is the closest we will get to the comforts of those theaters. What they lack in food service, they make up for in large, comfy, spacious reclining seats combined with high dividers between rows. While they do not have a full menu, they do have a few options such as pizzas, nachos, and a few other hot dishes in addition to the classics of popcorn and candy. They also have a bar, however during all of our visits whether it be day or night, I have never seen the bar staffed or open. Overall, this is a solid theater. Service is hit and miss at the food counter, and they always seem to have a few issues during previews whether it be sound going out or the lights not dimming appropriately...luckily neither has happened during the actual movie, so we let it slide. As long as we live in West Nashville, this AMC will be our movie spot! read more

I've been alive for 31 years and this is hands down one of the worst theaters I've ever been to. Upon walking in, this location is disgustingly filthy and unkempt. And grossly overpriced, as is all AMC theaters. I'm now sitting in theater 5 as the previews are playing but the screen is black. TBD if it fixes before the film starts. 0/10 recommend - AVOID! read more

This AMC is nasty and not clean. Trash can filled to the rim of trash, popcorn all over the floor, the drink machine had a huge poodle of water in front of it big as a car. Visitors just walking through it very unsafe and very slippery, popcorn all over the counter where you pick up your popcorn and the men's bathroom vanity top was soaked in poodles water. Unhealthy and very nasty condition where is the manger,where is the health department and the Better Business Bureau. Don't waste your time and money on this place. We haven't been to the movies in a few years, and we had a rare opportunity to go on a date last night. We chose AMC Bellevue (Nashville) to enjoy the movie experience (which includes popcorn!). We purchased tickets and refreshments (popcorn and drinks) online in advance. When we got to the theater, we were told they had no popcorn because ALL their popcorn machines were broken. They gave us a refund for it and gave us the cups for drinks. They were completely out of diet sprite and diet coke. I had to settle for something else that I didn't really like. We arrived early, and when we went into the theater, it was dark. When the time for the movie arrived, the lights came on. We had to ask the attendants to come in to turn the lights off. When my husband went to the restroom, all but one of thr urinals were "out of order". This is a very clear example of poor management, and it ruined our very rare movie date experience. read more

AMC Theatre still seems to be a fairly new theater. Like many theaters, it seems to have very limited staff which manifests itself in bathrooms that have full trash, lines to check in, and a general sense of not quite kept up. Going to the movies used to be an opportunity to enjoy an outing and service was part of it. Now, the whole process feels much more like "self serve". But the seats are very comfortable and the theater itself was clean and tidy. The sound on some of the previews was ridiculously loud for a fairly small theater. Thankfully that was modulated for the main feature. Cinemas will need to find their new role in the current climate. read more

After not being able to go to the movies for a year, I felt like it was only fitting to finally write a review after being closed for so long. Although I've been to this location multiple times, I decided to write a review from tonight's experience with COVID guidelines involved. I went to watch the new Demon Slayer movie tonight (which was AMAZING btw), and AMC has absolutely nailed the COVID protocol. The line for concessions was short and sweet and no wait time at all. For drinks, you go over to the CocaCola Freestyle machines where a worker is there to fill your drink instead of multiple people touching the machine. AMC also made sure to have a space blocked off between you and the people on either side of you whenever you choose your seat, preventing people from sitting right beside you. All in all, it was a very nice experience just like I remember from last year. read more

This theater is a lovely addition to the One Bellevue shopping center. It's located right by several great restaurants, like Honeyfire BBQ and Eastern Peak. I'm always impressed by how sparkling clean this theater is, and the movies usually go on without a hitch. The button-activated reclining, cushy leather seats are also always a plus. However, the AMC Bellevue 12 did go through a few hiccups my last time there. First of all, I had booked three tickets prior to going to the theater. When they tried to scan my QR, they told me someone else had taken my seats! I have never experienced this before at any movie theater, and instead of offering an apology or changes in our viewing experience, the staff just shrugged and said it wasn't their fault. It was really out of the ordinary for service here, and the best I got was, "Would you like to talk to my manager?" Luckily, there were some seats still available, but they were not ideal. Great theater overall, but I just feel like their staff needs to be somewhat more aware about how they come across to others and espeically how they treat patrons. read more

The lights would not dim the entire previews and it made them look like crap and it was very awkward. The first set of previews had sound only and when I asked they said oh yeah that screen is broken but don't worry it turns on right before the movie . The popcorn was sun par even when I waited for a fresh batch. Then after the movie the lights came on the second the credits started. If you had asked me the week it opened, I might have given a 5-star rating. I love the recliner seats, the fact I can get an adult drink, etc. Now that it has sunk in, I can be more objective about the good, the bad and the ugly that is Bellevue 12. I am in a snarky mood today, so maybe this will be worth a few laughs. :D On the good side, I like being able to reserve a seat. Yes, I know some people hate it, as it allows other people to reserve the good seats ahead of time and they are stuck with bad seats. But, I don't care. I am happy I can reserve a seat rather than wait in line hours before a show. And, yes, with 20 minutes of previews, I am often there just as the movie starts. Get over it. ;-) I also like a bar as dealing with the bad and ugly of the theater sometimes means I need a drink. As per the "you are a captive audience", drinks are expensive, but it is an option. And they have a couple of nice beers on tap. I can't really rave or rant too much about the staff, overall, except a bit more cross training might make things flow smoother. When they are slow, it is normally because some customers take forever. Well worth the A-List price to stand in the princess line at times. And, yes, the princess line is a definite good in this review. A bit more than $20 per month for up to 3 movies a week, with very few restrictions? What? 3D included? What? Never mind, ignore the A-List comment as I like the fact the princess line is never too long. The bad? The bad thing is mostly how inconsistent the ticketing is. I assume this is because it is hard to find talent these days? Did I mention a bit of cross-training. The ugly? The drink machines are still leaking all the time and out of some choices fairly regularly. Find a technician. Seriously. And how long until you replace the broken glass in the popcorn display window? Review written 3-12-2019, so this may not be a problem and we just have a lot of good and a little bad? I hope so. The last bit is not a knock on the theatre. It is a knock on the people that go to the theatre. Honestly, didn't you mama teach you to lift up the seat rather than peeing all over it? LOUD theater almost ruined an otherwise great movie. Pros: -Really comfortable leather recliner seats -Really wide aisles, so you can get up during the movie if you need the bathroom -You pick your seats ahead of time (reserved) BIG CON: the previews were so loud we had to cover our ears the whole time (my husband's watch had a decibel monitor and it was going up into the 100s, which is permanent damage level). When he went to go tell someone about it, they said there was nothing they could do about the previews, but would turn it down for the actual movie. There were SEVEN previews, so a long time to hold your ears. Then, the movie was a little quieter, but still at the loud parts went to about 90 decibels, still WAY too loud. read more

This is an fine place to watch a movie, but the amenities are lacking. The freestyle drink machines have very few options, and have not been fixed for a long time. Not worth it to pay $10+ for a drink to only have about 5 options available on all 4 machines. Movies usually start pretty late, and in my theater (#11) there was a weird air hissing sound that would happen periodically through the movie that was really distracting. It's fairly clean, but I feel like it could be cleaner. Popcorn was good though! And the reclining seats are always a plus! Again, not a terrible theater, and the location in Bellevue is great, but could use some better upkeep. read more

This is a really nice theater. Comfortable, adjustable seating w/ plenty of leg room, good temperature control, enormous digital screens. I didn't sample the snack bar offerings so no thoughts onto quality or price there. The selection of movies seems to remain pretty high in selection as well. It's also within walking distance of a lot of dinner and dessert options. However...I'm just not a fan of this reserved seating mess that Nashville "upscale" theaters are moving toward. We got good seats but to ensure that we did we had to use the Fandango app and pay those extra fees (on top of a $13 4pm ticket cost---matinee, anyone?). I saw seats already marked as "taken" on the app that were never filled when we were in the theater. Maybe they're perpetually reserved for "VIPs"? I prefer showing up and first come first serve seating myself. read more

This theatre needs some love & some leadership. You walk in as a customer, and have no idea who is scanning your ticket or there to help you. Workers have their airpods in, standing around, don't know how to answer your questions and moving at a snail pace. Clearly understaffed, I only saw one adult working and they were in the bar area...also clueless when I asked some questions. I drove across town to come to this theatre because Bellevue is in a nicer area and was pretty disappointed in the lack of care for this location. Hire some managers who care, will invest in the young people and change the culture of this theatre! read more

Having lived in Bellevue for a very long time, nothing was more exciting than having a nice shiny new movie theatre close by, especially since the old Bellevue 8 was a hot mess and the only place in the vicinity to see a movie. This theatre is a welcome addition. Service is average for a theatre, but they have a nice assortment of concessions available. There are two kiosks to the left of the concession stand for anyone who doesn't want to wait in line (if there is one). The recliners are nice and the theatres are pretty clean. Jamie D. is right, no one really checks to see if you have a ticket and you could probably walk right in, but it has assigned seats so I imagine they are assuming everyone is on good behavior. Also, this theatre has a bar! It's tiny, and on a busy night you might have to wait a few minutes in line, but it is a welcome addition to my movie-going experience. read more

I love that there is a nice theater in Bellevue now! This theater is tucked behind the Sprouts shopping center and there is a parking lot to the left of the building. They were recently doing a lot of construction in front of the theater and are still expanding the surrounding area. There is no box office to speak of, but to the left of the concession stand there are two machines where you can purchase tickets. The seating is reserved so you will select your seats in advance. The theaters all have reclining chairs, which is awesome! With a touch of a button you can adjust your chair and leg rest. In addition to the concession stand in the main lobby there is also a small bar. The first time I came we got wine. The bartender was really nice and helpful. There are a few minor glitches worth mentioning that probably come with a new theater opening. The first time I came in a few scenes of the movie the projector turned the screen green for a minute or two. The second time I came there was no problem with the projector/screen but when we checked for movie tickets it wasn't showing that there were 4 seats together. Being that it was a Sunday night I wasn't sure if that was correct so I called the theater. The guy I talked to told me that there were two different rows with 4 seats together and that their website had a glitch. I guess the lesson from that is when in doubt, just call them! Overall a nice, new theater with premium amenities. I will be back many more times! read more

Came for an 11:15AM movie. The theatre seats are good, but the concession was terrible. The popcorn was left over from the night before. You can tell by the stale taste. There were zero napkins, we walked to all dispensers. There was no butter for the popcorn and the coke machines were out of lots of options. I spent 27 dollars on concession and what I got was a major let down. The kids working we're doing their best but the whole experience was a let down. Pretty sad because the movie experience is special and today it didn't have the magic. Do better AMC. read more

The screen is now blank. Tried calling the theater twice and was never able to speak to anyone. Just recorded information. Now 7:56, and still waiting! You would think that someone from AMC would have come out and said something! Someone went outside and said there were several angry people in the lobby. Awesome chairs and convenient location. However this theatre is crashing quickly. Dirty bathrooms and take a look at the floor behind the concessions-not well kept. If they do not maintain it and keep it clean it will be empty sooner rather than later. Update, we are Bellevueans and we frequent that AMC Bellevue. They have stepped up their game for sure. +1 Star. It would be a 5 if that actually gave priority to AMC A List members. Maybe a specific register? It creates an awkwardness between patrons.
