However, when I called, the person told me that they did not have a cake available for me today because they would need time to prepare the cake I wanted. But...she offered an alternative...delicious cupcakes. I hung up with her and thought about it... and loved her idea. I drove to the bakery, which was only 10 minutes away from my house. When I arrived, I found out that I had spoken with the owner on the phone. She was so sweet and helped me pick out some great cupcakes. My husband and I loved all of them! The weather was absolutely terrible and it is tucked into a quaint shopping center. As soon as we stepped inside, I almost immediately forgot about the rain because it was so nice and relaxing. There are about 3 two-top tables inside and it was decorated for Easter. The woman working the register was so kind! She made the ordering process easier and made sure to confirm with me before packing up any sweets that my little ones were requesting, which I appreciated. As I was checking out, I last minute asked if they did anything special for birthdays and got a free cupcake!
