I've been wanting to try their "smallcake smash" cupcake and ice cream ever since I saw the promo video on IG and since I had a sweet tooth, I dropped in. Cute cafe located in The Shoppes at Webb Ginn so there is plenty of parking. There is no seating in the cafe so keep that in mind. They have an array of cupcakes to choose from and also have vegan and gluten free cupcakes. The small cake smash is a cupcake with two scoops of ice cream. You choose the kind of cupcake that you want, which was hard for me because they had so many options. Once you have chosen your cupcake (I chose red velvet), they cut the cupcake in half. The bottom slice is placed in a cup. Then you choose the two scoops of ice cream that you want. I chose Oreo cookie and Nutella ice cream as my two scoops. They put the two scoops of ice cream on top of the bottom slice of the cupcake and then put the other half of the cup cake on top. The young lady that took my order was patient and sweet while I decided what flavors I wanted. They do have a rewards program if you want to sign up for free. Both the cupcake and ice cream were good but a little too rich for me. I probably won't order them together again. Also, I would probably get the same flavor of ice cream for the two scoops instead of two different flavors. I didn't get to eat it all but it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. read more

We brought our little ones to Smallcakes Snellville for the first time, and it was pure joy from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the smell of fresh cupcakes and waffle cones pulled us right to the counter. The staff member working that day was so patient, she happily let our kids sample multiple ice cream flavors until everyone found their favorite. (Somehow, every single one of them picked something blue. Parents will understand! ) I decided to try one of their Smash Cakes in a Cup, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dessert choices I've made all year. The cake was moist, the frosting was just the right level of sweet, and the presentation made it even more fun. I was halfway through before realizing I'd already planned my next visit. The location is perfect - in presidential square off Webb Ginn. Parking is okay - it's located next to children's place. Appearance/service: store is clean and looked very presentable. I believe she was the owner but she had on a mask and came out friendly and ready to serve. Experience: Smallcakes lacked variety. They had 4 different types of yellow cake with just different icing. Only about 4 real options. Mini cupcakes were not made and were special order only - definitely a disappointment as customers could try more varieties at once with this option. The cupcakes I got were terrible. Terrible, terrible terrible! In flavor, and In texture. I'm pretty much a certified sweet taster so this was very disappointing. Nothing is worse than expecting an item to taste as it looks and it tasted like melted wax paper. I'm not sure if they substitute a lot of their ingredients - but as a note they should definitely look into revamping those recipes! I am giving 2 stars for appearance and service from employee. They have over 300 flavors of cupcakes and have 12 standard ones that are baked daily with 2 wildcard ones that vary from day to day. I ordered the Hot Fudge Sundae.
