    Veggie Sandwich

Mi amor and myself had stop by this place grab some light for brunch before we go catch the demon slayer movie with some of our friends and I have to say it was really nice and cute! I love the atmosphere and the aethistics of the place. Their pastries looked like they were made with love! I ended up getting the veggie sandwich with some BBQ chips and a strawberry cake (which was saved for later private destruction) which was good! The service was great as well because of how attentive the staff were even with it being busy. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite and a sweet treat!

Red velvet with cream cheese icing with butter cream hydrangea blooms. The designer did a very artful presentation of the flowers, with trailing single flowers down the sides. The cake was delicious and moist. I would recommend this bakery for your bakery needs

Really impressive display case, service can be a little slow...I always go for the cookie dough cupcakes!

Multiple visits to change of heart ~ the service here is haughty like a cocky rooster. Amazing display yes. However, ridiculous pricing for the no smile sniffy service is not worth the ink stamped bird box. It has lost any southern charm it might have had.

Great baked goods BUT I was buying two cupcakes, one as a gift and one for my daughter. I asked for them to be boxed separately and was told they would have to charge me for the second box. Ridiculous. I should have gotten one and then gotten another separately. I hate being nickel and dimed to death, +4% for using a credit card (which used to be a business expense) and tip?

I recently placed a order here for a work meeting. I requested a menu online and received one right away from Sharon, she even called shortly after to make sure I received it. I placed a pre-order a few days after. Our food was delivered on time, everything was correct and every one was happy with their lunch. I ended up stopping by the Lawrenceville location the next day to grab something. As I opened the door to the bake shop I can smell the rich aroma of baked goods. The entire place was nicely decorated and very clean. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I'm literally salivating over all the cupcakes on display, while waiting in line and had to talk myself out of ordering them. I picked up a box lunch to go and got out of there as fast as I could, LOL! Such a cute place! I know my sisters would also love this place so, I'll be returning with them for breakfast soon.

This is the $200 cake we were given.

Very disappointed with this company. The decorator was forcing my MIL to pick out specific decorations for the cake up charging her for every decision. To make it easy after going back and forth several times she sent her the picture from their own instagram page to recreate. Below you will see the $200 cake we received. Yes we had to prepay and tip. I contacted them about the issue in hopes they would resolve professionally. They have not returned any emails. So after my third week of not hearing anything I wanted to warn the community about how rude, overpriced, and just plain bad this place is. Idk if it is the neon green frosting, the roses vs peony's, the 1970's English ivy, or the poop colored and neon flowers. It's just plain bad!!!

8-inch round, tall strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting

When I saw Blue Rooster's Mother's Day cakes on Instagram, I just had to have one! My family was planning a backyard picnic for Mother's Day and I wanted to add something sweet to the table... literally. It's been years since I've been to Blue Rooster, so I thought it was the perfect time to revisit. I called about a few days ahead and pre-ordered the 8-inch tall cake that serves up to 15 people. Strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting is their best selling cake, so I went with that. The nice lady over the phone gave me some options for pick-up dates and times. I chose Saturday at 1pm. At the time of pick-up, BR was only offering curbside pick-up. They were not allowing patrons inside the bakeshop, but have opened it up for takeout shortly after Mother's Day. I arrived after 1pm and parked in one of the many parking spots that were clearly marked for curbside pickup. Each spot was assigned a number and had signs with the bakeshop's phone number. I called as soon as I parked, gave them my name and the parking spot number I was in. A gentleman brought out the cake to my car within minutes. The process was super easy and went smoothly. The cake was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos they had on their Instagram page. It retained its shape and design very well even while I ran a few errands in the heat. It still looked lovely the next day. The cake was around $80 and was worth. every. penny! It was a hit at the Mother's Day picnic and was enjoyed by all. The cake was moist, and the cream cheese frosting was plenty sweet, but not overwhelming. It was just right. I definitely treated myself to a few slices throughout the following week. I can't wait for the next special occasion so I can order another cake from Blue Rooster!

They have the very best treats and their cakes are so beautiful. You can stop in and have their chicken salad sandwich they are probably most known for that is fabulous. If you're ever doing jury duty and need to grab lunch it's a nice break from the court house but also they are quick at getting orders out and you can also stop in and order treats to go and get them right then and there. For custom orders definitely order ahead as they make some beautiful and very adorable cakes.

    What are the prices like?

The sandwiches are all $8-$10/ish. I only go there for the baked goods though. I am also extremely picky though. The average prices for a baked treat are $3 or $4, which is pretty average for the area unless you're just going to get a treat from…

The service was good. We were able to order quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. I got the turkey club pita and it was sooo good. It was so big I ate half and then ate the other half the next day and I think it was better the second day. The cucumber salad is ok. My friend liked the mushroom Swiss burger and said it was cooked to his liking. Some of the fries were not hot and it seemed there may have been old and new fries mixed in. There were tons of fries. I'm already thinking about when will I make it back there to get another turkey club.

We laughed they it is now the "secret menu" item! Well they made it PERFECTLY!!! My hubby had a Brisket Sandwich with horseradish sauce- enjoyed. Both got tots. Oh, they have great bar selections too- a good menu of drinks. I had the blueberry/lavender slush- you can taste the booz, $11.
