Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Vibe 4/5 Parking to reso is a challenge, but for Hong Kong Style restaurant , its worth it! Food was great, there isnt as many options as other cha chang tang, but still a good section. I personally love their Hong Kong Iced MilkTea. One of the best ones i had in toronto, ngl! ALSO! FRIED CHICKEN WINGS IS TO DIE FOR! Sooooo juicy so delicious! Overall worth the drive and parking pain! Haha

Ordered the hainanese chicken rice for takeout. The chicken was decent but unfortunately the broth did not have much flavour. It came with two ginger oil sauces. Wish there was a bit more variety of sauces. The rice was unfortunately mushy.. perhaps the other dishes are better but not convinced I would go out of my way to try in the restaurant yet.

2.5 stars This is pretty small cafe and has around twenty seats that are fairly close together. There isn't dedicated parking, but there is street parking across the street. Make sure you park where it's permitted. We ordered I. instant noodles with satay beef and egg in soup and H. spicy pork chop with Maggi sauce on rice. The food didn't take long to arrive at the table and you're given eating utensils when your dishes come out. The satay beef did not actually have instant noodles. They were regular noodles, and this was quite a letdown since we were expecting instant noodles. The pork chop was a decent portion and tasty.

I was 100% really surprised to find this NEW Phoenix Cafe in North York, near Fairview Mall. There were no posts on their Instagram or advertisement anywhere! It is definitely a hidden gem for the neighbourhood, and probably the smallest Phoenix Cafe yet, with maybe max 20 seats. I love the comfort food here. The food is delicious, and the service is quick. I love my Spam & Egg instant noodles, the Basa Fish Fillet Bun, and the Napoleon Styled with Black Sesame Ice cream! Underground parking is right at the same complex parking garage entrance as Fresh Co. Park and exit from Fresh Co. and walk towards the restaurant on Forest Manor Road. There are also limited street parking spots across from the restaurant, but watch out for the 2 fire hydrants. FYI, there is ZERO cell phone signal when you're underground!

Tucked into a corner in a plaza, this place is PACKED late at night - like line ups packed. Luckily got a table (it's 2 floors, don't let the outside fool you thinking it's a tiny place) Ordered a bunch of the lamb skewers and instantly fell in love. Which was surprising bc I'm not a fan of lamb in North America- it tastes too gamey for me. But not here! We just came for the skewers lol. Ordered a bunch, shovelled them in my mouth, and went home happy. I'll definitely be back. Definitely a fave with the area residents and students (Seneca is up the street)

The inside is surprisingly spacious, with even a second floor. They specialize in Chinese BBQ skewers, with a great variety to choose from. The meat was fresh and tender, well seasoned while still letting the natural flavour of the meat come through. I especially liked the Juicy Crispy Chicken Bites and the Beef Top Sirloin. The Grilled Cabbage was surprisingly flavorful. The Supreme Seafood Rice was yummy too. It was covered in a rich seafood sauce, which I absolutely loved. The service was amazing. The staff member who looked after us, Evelyn, was super friendly and thoughtful. Even though it was a busy evening, she paid attention to our needs, made sure we had everything we needed, and even celebrated my birthday with us. She truly made this dining experience special, and definitely deserves a bonus :) Wish every restaurant had staff like her. My Experience at KFC - Don Mills & Finch (July 24, 2026)…read more Today I visited the KFC at Don Mills & Finch and ordered a 3-piece combo with coleslaw. While waiting for my order, I witnessed something that I found completely unacceptable. The employee preparing my order accidentally dropped my coleslaw onto the floor. I then saw him pick it up and place it into my bag. I immediately spoke up in front of other customers because I could not believe what I had just witnessed. I brought the incident to the manager's attention. The manager told me the employee had only received two days of training and said he had been instructed that if anything falls on the floor, it should be thrown in the garbage. Whether this was a training issue or a failure to follow instructions, it raises serious concerns. Two days of training should never result in food that has touched the floor ending up in a customer's order. Food safety is not optional. Every customer deserves confidence that the food they receive is handled properly and that employees are adequately trained before serving the public. I hope KFC reviews this incident, reinforces its food safety procedures, and ensures all staff receive proper training. Customers place their trust in restaurants every day, and that trust should never be taken lightly. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Share your thoughts below.

I was looking for a promotion and it didn't seem to be on the overhead menu. The staff did provide suggestions for me. It turns out that the promotion I was searching for was on a card on the side of the counter. Upon paying I was informed that my meal would take a few minutes. The double down ultimate box included the double down sandwich, popcorn chicken, fries, a side (I chose corn) and a fountain drink. Two chicken fillets served as the bun for the sandwich and in between there was sauce, a slice of bacon, and Monterey jack cheese. The fillets were flavourful, thick and juicy. From the time I got my order and arrived home to eat it the breading on the fillet started to separate a bit from the meat. It wasn't a big deal but it'll be best to eat it immediately. The fries were better than I remember them being. It was a bummer that the smokey BBQ sauce for the popcorn chicken was forgotten with my order. I'm not sure what the current average price for a fast food meal is but at $15.50 plus tax this wasn't cheap. This was definitely a sharable meal since it was too much for just myself to finish.

This place is a decent size, not huge or anything but lots of big tables and small private rooms that can sit around 15-20 people. Service is prompt, no concerns except for when dessert came around. The lady who was placing each bowl from the tray to the rotating table, she put some of them down so hard it would spill on the table. It's kind of messy. Never went in the washroom so unsure of its cleanliness. Food was good, decent price and the food was yummy. The eel clay pot rice was okay, lots of ginger in it. The mushroom beef was good, tender. The lobster didn't have much flavour on its own, but it tasted good with hot sauce. We were supposed to get the fish, but the waiter substituted it with a chicken dish that you can probably find at Chinese takeout restaurants. I would have preferred that the substituted dish was something more tasty and not a simple chicken dish. The waiters sometimes took long to bring our food and we were stuck waiting for food for a while in between dishes. One waiter brought a knife in hot water to cut the ice cream cake, which was nice since my family was having trouble cutting the cake ourselves.

The food was amazing as expected and so was the service. The service was fast and very helpful. But honestly I been going there for the last few days and one thing, a person has truly brought colour to this place. I seen her make drinks so she definitely a worker there, she makes that place look so lively it's truly blows me away that a girl like that exists. We were told by the server that the last call to order was at 8:30 PM. We ordered the Laksa seafood noodle in chicken broth and the Hainanese chicken rice noodle in chicken broth. Both were good but I have had better experiences elsewhere. I do not know of a lot of places in Toronto serving Laksa so this was an OK experience to be able to have it again. The Laksa's broth could be thicker and creamier. I would also wanted it to have more of the coconut taste, but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it may be a regional variant of the dish. At least it has lot of variety in its toppings. The other dish we tried was the Hainanese chicken noodle soup. We had it in this configuration for a change. I must say that Hainanese chicken is better paired with rice. There are 2 dips that came with it. The ginger dip was a little lacking. I find it lacking flavour and fails to properly enhance the taste of the Hainanese chicken. The chicken broth also came off a little too salty on first taste. What was redeeming was that dish orders came with a free choice of beverage. We paired our orders with Almond milk & Chocolate milk. Both dishes's serving size were also huge. We had to take them both to-go. Right after we were served our orders the waitress came by us and subtly implied that we already pay for the food because they were already closing shop soon. I was surprised by this because I am always used to paying at the end and have always understood this to be the expectation. I still paid the bill in cash and gave a slightly higher percentage for tip because that is just how the cash amount conveniently rounds up to.
