Went here Today (Tuesday March 31st 2026) with my mom to pick up some dinner. We used the online app to order, and ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken combo with pork fried rice, Peppersteak with onions with white rice combo, and a Chicken with mixed vegetables with vegetable rice combo with a regular eggroll. My mom has a shrimp allergy, so she has to have a regular eggroll with her meal. We were at Publix on 501, and when we got there, our food was ready! we took it home and ate it at home. I enjoyed my peppersteak with onions and white rice! Good thing was too, food was still hot when we came home. Would definitely be back next time we are craving chinese food! read more

The food was horrifying the chicken fried rice had no taste. The chicken looked like it wasn't even fried like it was a boiled not fried. The Mongolian beef wasn't good everything the vegetables weren't chopped up good the egg wasn't in the gravy just onions in the egg chopped up. The presentation of the food was terrible. Would have given it at least 4-5 taste was great with my Chicken and Garlic Sauce ( with beef to add for a $1) but there was not one piece of beef!!! The fried rice was lacking in flavor as well ..The Wonton Egg Drop soup was disappointing.. 4 Wontons? The shrimp toast was one slice of toast and hardly any shrimp that's supposed to be mashed on one side and it was WAY over fried and burnt Hong Kong you need to do better! Well new owners & it's worse than it was before they took over. Way to pricey specially for the amount of food that is given. For example boneless spareribs when you got a large half of the container was left under new owners. This large is nowhere close to being large and not only that it was nothing but a bunch of tidbits there was very few large pieces of meat in it. It was more like tidbits little tiny pieces that were maybe the size of your pinky nail. This sucks because we have been going here for like 30+ years and now we have to find a better Chinese restaurant, but as expensive as the large boneless spareribs cost now I'm better off going to a Chinese all you can eat buffet because literally for a quart of boneless spare ribs was 20 bucks so it's gonna cost me about 20 bucks to go to an all you can eat Chinese buffet and next time I will do so and I'll bring a Ziploc bag and a pocketbook in and I will take some home for when you're hungry a half hour later. I was hoping since it changed owners that the food was going to be better but I'd rather have the old people back cause their food was a little bit better well a lot better because when you got the boneless spare ribs, there was chunks of meat in there the size of your thumb. I will never go here again time to find a new place or just go to a buffet. read more

Called for take out on our way in to town. Great phone service. Food was ready when they said it would be. All items packed up and sizzling hot. Service was impressive they were packed but we never felt rushed. Prices were similar to other Chinese take outs. Did not lovey sweet and sour shrimp. Kids didn't love their sweet and sour shrimp noting the breading was too sour for them. Loved the crab wontons and veggie fried rice was spot on. Would I return? Yes! This may be the worst Chinese food I have had. The dishes are not your tradional every day average Chinese restaurant food. I have never had shzeuhuan (sp?) Chicken with a creamy sauce or General Tso's sauce dark like BBQ sauce. It did not taste good. The egg rolls were so dry and the crab Rangoons. No sauce could have saved them. I have ordered from here many times and the service is top notch. The food is very good it is the only place my sister will order from when she is in the mood for egg foo young. While the restaurant is not fancy it is clean and if I would feel comfortable eating there but I order take out since I grab the food on my lunch break. read more

Ive gotten food from this restaurant roughly half a dozen times. The food is ehhh, nothing special, and I continue to search for a better Chinese restaurant. Moreover, the staff here can be pretty rude, and not seem to even care about your service. The kitchen also looks pretty messy, and it just seems like the place looks more run down every time I enter. All the meals I've had have been OK, nothing to write home about. Nothing like another review here. No homeless anywhere for miles and miles and miles. Cleanliness gets a 4/5. Wallpaper In very small area coming off. But there were kids playing with it so could be very recent. Food was fantastic for the price. Ceiling not falling apart or nothing. Eat here all the time and will continue to do so. read more

We're visiting Myrtle Beach for vacation and found Hong Kong for take-out. Their health score is an A! My Husband had Hunan chicken. White meat, with spicy sauce, no breading,loaded with nappa cabbage, bell pepper, onions,water chestnuts, snow peas and baby corn. I had General Tsos chicken. Our $27 order was old and the Dumplings and Crab Rangoon had to be yesterdays under heat lamps. We just had to throw them out. Could not be eaten. Shrimp egg rolls were not as bad and could be eaten. I absolute disappointment!!! I've eaten at their sister restaurant in Little River, Sc for most of my life. They have me four tiny shrimp in a combo that cost ten dollars their cashew shrimp and plus the sesame chicken was entirely too sweet compared to the other one as well. Plus their customer service is horrible charged me an extra dollar fifty four sauces we ended not even using. I'd be ashamed to call this my restaurant. We even drove fifteen minutes out of our way to eat here instead of getting take out at panda right up the road from us, point is go with panda they do everything much better!!! read more
