I like the food here, I feel like it is not as greasy as most other Chinese places I've eaten at. I've tried many of the vegetarian dishes such as vegetable lo mein, broccoli with garlic sauce and vegetable fried rice. The vegetables are always fresh. I really can't complain about any of the food I've had - it's all good. They are doing takeout and delivery only during this time, the indoor seating has been blocked off. I've always had pleasant interactions with the employees. I took off one star because the prices vary for the same meals on different days, which is weird. I don't recommend this place, It's ass. First my order I ordered fried chicken wings with white rice, And delivery, I got this food and I saw it was yellow rice. I called the restaurant to see if they could send me another order, This lady answered the food and i explained calmly that my order is wrong and that if she could bring me my RIGHT order and she said "no you ordered fried rice." I didn't and I asked my mom if I did and she said I i didn't because I called right in front of her. And the lady just said no AND HANGED UP THE CALL! I called again but they didn't answer. Definitely the best Chinese fast food place in the Ridgewood area and I've had my fair share of Chinese take out from at least 8 of the nearby chinese restaurants. I've had an assortment of dishes from this place but basically stick with their chicken and broccoli and shrimp lo mein. They have really good lunch specials as well. It's quite busy here during the day. It seems like the entire US postal office, UPS and Fedex eats here. I guess it's a package/letter carrier fav! After school, the parents pickup their kids in the school next door and a large percentage come in for some food before they head home or go to tutoring. This restaurant and their customer service is terrible. My friend and I ordered food from here and when the delivery guy came to deliver I told him give me a second to go next door to the store to get money out. Literally not even 5 mins went by that he came to the store yelling he's busy. I told him look I'm at the atm taking the money out, couldn't even finish taking the money out before he was getting in his car at which point I said I'm calling the store because the way he was treating me was so disgusting. I wasn't expecting much from this place, just average chinese food. I only got the hot and sour soup, which was extremely glutinous and bland, and the shrimp fried rice which was also very bland. All the shrimp fried rice had in it were those two items, no onion, no seasoning, no nothing! so based on those two dishes I will not return for below average chinese food. read more

This is my chinese spot, never have a problem with them. I always order Seasome chicken and never had to throw out a piece from being nasty. One of my friends lives far away but when she comes to visit she always wants to come here. Food never was cold, never got the wrong order and delivery is pretty fast. First, I thought I'd share my personal philosophy on review writing. When you rate a restaurant, you should be comparing it to similar establishments. That said, while I have had better food at fancier, sit down Chinese restaurants, Hong Kong is one of the best take out Chinese joints I've tried. I generally use the General Tso combo platter as a baseline to gauge the quality of a Chinese restaurant, and I find the dish here to be excellent. The chicken is nicely crisped and tastes fresh with a flavorful sauce. The fried rice has a nice flavor without being overly greasy. I also enjoy the steamed dumplings and the garlic chicken wings. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, and the only things I've tried from here are the pork dumplings, veggie dumplings and wonton soup. However, all were delicious and fantastic - the place also has an A rating, and they understood good English so ordering is easy.
