I stopped by Hong Kong Gift in Chandler and really enjoyed looking around. They have a great selection of imported items (example: cute knick-knacks, and unique gifts that you don't typically see, blind boxes, figurines, etc.) The shop is well-stocked and the staff was nice when checking out their stuff. The only real downside is that the space is a bit small. You feel a little cramped if there are more than a few people inside. One thing I did love was the giant lucky cat. This place is jam packed with interesting gifts. I was able to find a couple of Hangyodon (my fave) items, which are very hard to find. If you are looking for "dupes" of licensed products, you'll find lots here. I will say that while there were lots of inexpensive and reasonably priced items, some stuff was over priced. They had Labubus, but they were reselling them for $65-ish for items that originally retail for $27.99. I understand a markup, but that's around 130% markup. Eeek!!! read more

Located in Mekong Plaza is Hong Kong Gifts that features an array of items. There is quite the selection at reasonable prices; some higher than I expected so I put the item back. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by the person at the check out counter. When shopping, my Yelp Bestie Chelsey H. found it a bit tricky to navigate the store as the aisles dead end so you have to turn around to get out. If there are multiple people shopping it can make it a little awkward. Despite that, we did find it fun to check out the wide array of items they had to offer. read more

Cute little big place, it's packed with stuff and is double the size of when you come in, with Asian trinkets, gifts, and decorations you didn't know you needed! Stop by and browse and you'll surely walk away with something you just have to have! From hats, to shirts, to pens, stickers and stuffed animals, there's something for everyone! Unique gifts for sure! Staff is overall friendly. We had an issue with an item and they were very nice in getting in replaced. Will surely shop here again! This store is located within Mekong Plaza. The staff provided a greeting upon entering and exiting the shop. There was a variety of items for purchase or browsing. Items ranged from manga related things to quirky items all the way to bamboo plants. The shelves were pretty crowded with merchandise and there were lots of dead ends. It was a little difficult to get through the store but luckily was not overly crowded when we arrived so we were able to manage. Overall the pricing seemed high in my opinion. I found a purse that was basically a stuffed animal chicken without stuffing. I would have loved to take it home but it was over $20 (I think it was $26). Counterfeit labubus. they have signs saying that they're 100% real but not of the dolls come with qr codes to prove that. The qr code comes in the box but even now, lafufus have evolved so much it's harder to tell. The young girl working there was so sweet but the older woman was trying to charge me more than what was listed for the doll. The value itself is not worth it. I opened the doll only for one leg to be bigger than the other and I'm not sure if maybe this is because Popmart has been getting higher demand but none of the products i've bought from here have been like that. I'm not mad at the product being fake especially because of how authentic it looks but overall the quality is poor because some of the fluff (which is a lot softer than it's supposed to be) is falling off just but touching it. Please pay attention to how much they're charging you on items because they will take advantage and please don't purchase any big products like labubus or stuff like that from here. H-Mart and Tokyo are a lot more reliable. I understand some regional differences exist, but in this case, the overall quality and missing verification insert raised red flags. I used to live near the bay area so I was used to shops like these and loved them! I found in Arizona these import shops tend to be inside International supermarkets but it's nice to see a stand alone shop like this! If you like Chinese vases, sculptures, and decor then you must visit this shop. There is also jewlery, dresses, kitchenware like teapots and chopsticks, and more. As for pricing, to give you an idea: I bought the 13" x 4" red stone horse sculpture shown in the photo for $47. A 7" x 4" red stone dragon sculpture for $25. And a 4" x 5" red stone goat sculpture for $16. As well as two dragon rings for $9. And lastly two sets of porcelain chopsticks for $15. read more

They have so many beautiful vases, dresses, jewelry, hats, and scarfs packed into such a tiny space, and they still manage to have a dressing room! They also have an assortment of decorative items like scrolls, fountains, vases, and chimes that feature gorgeous Asian motifs. Along Hong Kong Gifts narrow aisles they also sell a large array of childrens toys like remote controlled cars, action figures, and dolls!! My daughter and I love this place. We always stop by before we head out to our favorite Chinese restaurant. The owners are very nice and they have a nice assortment of things to buy. I can't say that the toys are of high quality but my little girl sure enjoys them. She especially loves the squishy toys they sell there. We were their last customer for 2018 and the guy that rang us up gave me a nice turtle lucky charm for free for being the last customer. Every year I buy my New Year lucky charms from them. read more
