This gift store is located in the Mekong Plaza. The store was packed today with shoppers. Some fun gifts available here such as jewelry, statues, keychains, clothing, bamboo, and more. Shared parking outside.

This place is jam packed with interesting gifts. I was able to find a couple of Hangyodon (my fave) items, which are very hard to find. If you are looking for "dupes" of licensed products, you'll find lots here. I will say that while there were lots of inexpensive and reasonably priced items, some stuff was over priced. They had Labubus, but they were reselling them for $65-ish for items that originally retail for $27.99. I understand a markup, but that's around 130% markup. Eeek!!!

Located in Mekong Plaza is Hong Kong Gifts that features an array of items. There is quite the selection at reasonable prices; some higher than I expected so I put the item back. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by the person at the check out counter. When shopping, my Yelp Bestie Chelsey H. found it a bit tricky to navigate the store as the aisles dead end so you have to turn around to get out. If there are multiple people shopping it can make it a little awkward. Despite that, we did find it fun to check out the wide array of items they had to offer.

This store is located within Mekong Plaza. The staff provided a greeting upon entering and exiting the shop. There was a variety of items for purchase or browsing. Items ranged from manga related things to quirky items all the way to bamboo plants. The shelves were pretty crowded with merchandise and there were lots of dead ends. It was a little difficult to get through the store but luckily was not overly crowded when we arrived so we were able to manage. Overall the pricing seemed high in my opinion. I found a purse that was basically a stuffed animal chicken without stuffing. I would have loved to take it home but it was over $20 (I think it was $26). Even though I didn't leave with a Hong Kong Gift, I enjoyed stopping in.

    Smiski/Sonny Angel

Don't buy Sonny Angels or Smiski's here. I got them for a friend and they're 100% fake. Save your money!

    The keychain

Counterfeit labubus. they have signs saying that they're 100% real but not of the dolls come with qr codes to prove that. The qr code comes in the box but even now, lafufus have evolved so much it's harder to tell. The young girl working there was so sweet but the older woman was trying to charge me more than what was listed for the doll. The value itself is not worth it. I opened the doll only for one leg to be bigger than the other and I'm not sure if maybe this is because Popmart has been getting higher demand but none of the products i've bought from here have been like that. I'm not mad at the product being fake especially because of how authentic it looks but overall the quality is poor because some of the fluff (which is a lot softer than it's supposed to be) is falling off just but touching it. Please pay attention to how much they're charging you on items because they will take advantage and please don't purchase any big products like labubus or stuff like that from here. H-Mart and Tokyo are a lot more reliable. I posted this reddit post to show more pictures between a real and fake https://www.reddit.com/r/idk/s/dmGVyRknqo UPDATE: I appreciate the owner's response, but I want to clarify that I'm very familiar with the difference between Labubu and Lafufu -- and this was definitely a Labubu box. The one I purchased did not include the QR code insert inside the box, and the quality (including uneven limbs and shedding fluff) was noticeably off compared to other Pop Mart products I own. I understand some regional differences exist, but in this case, the overall quality and missing verification insert raised red flags. I hope this helps others make informed decisions when buying collectible items.

what a fun store if you're looking for something a little different this store has everything from plants to jewelry.

    Gorgeous sculptures here!

I used to live near the bay area so I was used to shops like these and loved them! I found in Arizona these import shops tend to be inside International supermarkets but it's nice to see a stand alone shop like this! If you like Chinese vases, sculptures, and decor then you must visit this shop. There is also jewlery, dresses, kitchenware like teapots and chopsticks, and more. As for pricing, to give you an idea: I bought the 13" x 4" red stone horse sculpture shown in the photo for $47. A 7" x 4" red stone dragon sculpture for $25. And a 4" x 5" red stone goat sculpture for $16. As well as two dragon rings for $9. And lastly two sets of porcelain chopsticks for $15.

Anyways, one of my lifelong, close friends -- an epitome in camaraderie and deep amity -- received very painful news today that her brother passed from Nature to Eternity earlier this morning. Instantly, her heartfelt pain was mine. Gazing pensively out of my window into the distance, I wondered how could I send her a pick-me-up as she lives on one side of The Mississippi Divide and I live on the other... Conundrums. After some Yelp surfing, I placed a call to Lighthouse Flower Shop five minutes before they were scheduled to open, spoke to Lisa, and she treated me like the most important being in the vast galaxy. Nice. Following small talk, chuckles, and giggles -- all confirmation signs, perhaps, from the Universe -- I knew I was in the right place, a precious place. Yes. Thought for a minute about the tone to a measured memo, a nice note, for the card. Then placed my order at a terrific price, and sat back and waited like a precocious plumb nine year old waiting for the magic to happen on Christmas, notwithstanding the ache and pain my friend was embracing and enduring! Life. Long story short: My dear friend loved the gesture and the floral arrangement saying, "The flowers are beautiful. My goodness. Thank you... my heart is glowing because someONE (you) wanted to show me your heart... genuinely." Awe. And the rest speaks for itself. (Insert happy faces, red hearts, and blue people hugs here. Go nuts!)

The lady (assume owner) was knowledgeable and very accommodating to my budget. I felt very comfortable with her recommendations. She provided a beautiful arrangement that was exactly what I was looking for. She even sent me a lovely photo. I am so happy I found Lighthouse! Highly recommend!
