Alright Fortune!
Steven J.

Alright place. Ordered a variety of dishes for dinner carry-out. The staff were friendly, if not a little bit confused. Young male cashier seemed to not know where his head was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior seems drab and musty, but not the worst dining room I've ever seen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was a mixed bag. Crab Puffs were 90% wrapper, very little crab. Pineapple Chicken was nice and crispy, good sauce if not a bit gloppy. Garlic Chicken was okay but came with no vegatables, and it comes fried so it tastes more like General Tso's than Garlic. Moo Shu Pork was fine but not the best we've had. Would I get it again? Maybe, since it's under a mile from our current home.

Really enjoyed my lunch today. I was quick to be seated, ordered and my lunch was quick to be served. Good flavor plate served with a friendly smile.

To start this, we are transplants from the NY/NJ/PA area. In our quest for finding some comfort food we are continually searching for chow mein like you get at any Chinese restaurant back east. We have been trying for the last two years and are still looking. Our latest quest search took us to Hong Kong Kitchen II. Well the hot and sour soup hit the spot. My tong was nicely anesthetized by the end of the cup. It was very tasty. The wonton soup had vegetables in it which was a first. The wonton wasn't that good but the broth was tasty. The egg rolls were delicious. They come in an order of two. The pork fried rice tasted a bit on the old side. The Hunan shrimp had a great flavor and delicious veggies. The shrimp we just okay - not super fresh tasting. The pork chow mein came with a ton of crispy noodles on top. The noodles were crispy, the pork was disappointingly fatty and dry, veggies were cooked nicely, and the sauce was okay but not as tasty as it could have been. The freshest item we had were the fortune cookies The quest for a hood chow mein dish continues.

Kung pao, sliced pork bbq app, orange chicken.

We have frequented this place since about 2019. They have the best orange chicken and kung pap chicken. Their crab puffs are also a great app to get. Today we got the sliced bbq pork app and it was great as well, nicely seasoned. We have always purchased an order for pick up however they do have tables and seating. Usually your order is ready in 15-25 minutes. They have a few spaces for parking so no need to worry there.

Our favorite local Chinese restaurant. Don't miss the chow fun (we like it with beef)! Their dinner for 2 is an amazing deal and very good.

Quick enough for lunch. Chicken teriyaki skewers were too dry to eat. Service was friendly and overall cleanliness was good.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed :( To start, this restaurant is located in a large shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. We came as a party of 4 on a Saturday during lunch and were seated immediately. We sent our orders to the kitchen ourselves with a tablet, which is nice because you don't have to wait for the server each time you want to order more food. Unfortunately, when we received our first round of orders, more than half the dishes were cold, almost as if they've been sitting out for awhile. Even our egg drop soup wasn't warm, which was super disappointing. After we placed our second round of orders, I respectfully asked the server if they could make sure the food comes out warm this time since the first round was so cold. She was apologetic and agreed to let the kitchen know. Our second round was much better. The food was warm, but the first round of food made such a bad impression, I kinda already lost my appetite. Also, the server informed us that they charge an extra fee for any leftover food, even if it's just ONE dumpling. I found this rule to be pretty outrageous to charge an extra fee for just one uneaten dumpling. It's sad to say I will not be coming back here again. After seeing this place all over social media, I was so excited to try it. But unfortunately, I was disappointed. If you are thinking about trying this place, maybe don't do the AYCE option.

Service was a bit on the slower side, but there was only one lady helping at the front and assisting customers. Starting with the favorites: Dan Dan noodles were a tad salty but overall had great flavor The orange chicken and general tso's chicken were both really good and had a sweet sauce to them. I like that the general tso's came with some peppers and celery. Fried shrimp was crispy and loved the batter Fried golden buns were divine. Fried and crispy with a side of condensed milk. The not so favorites: Beef fried rice was horrible, had some kind of chemical taste and the beef cut is very cheap and flabby, yup I said it. Crab puffs, umm where was the crab? Fiery beef noodles were subpar, again with the cheap beef And unfortunately the dumplings are nothing to brag about. Lacked much flavored to the fillings, you aren't missing anything. I would say overall, give it a shot for lunch and you can try a bunch of options to find what you may like.

Atmosphere 5/5 This is a good Chinese restaurant with entertainment. Tonight R & B was on the menu! Everything 80's and 90's was going on. Loved it and the celebratory vibe here. Service 5/5 I've never had bad service here. Enjoyed our server and the ..."bartender who also entertained the customers with her dance and grooves as she moved about the restaurant". Food 5/5 Everything I tried was delicious. Ordered an iced tea, a large bowl of Egg flower soup so I had some left tomorrow. Their take on the soup is fresh vegetables, through the straw amazing broth. Also ordered their vegetable Egg foo young. Theirs is donee in a nice dark broth, not gravy; which I found to be spot on. Vegetables were fresh, the Egg Foo young was fluffy and the broth did2 Cantonese style Egg Foo young justice. Plenty leftover for breakfast. $67.27 includes tip plus additional tip for great entertainment. Get your singing Panda on my friends-SYOY!

When we got there the place was small and fairly busy but we were able to be seated quicker than I thought. I was surprised how quickly the food came out as we did order 9 dishes in which all of them were tasty! The server was welcoming and provided proactive service. My favs were the stir fry eggplant and minced pork with garlic sauce + Salt and Pepper Fish Fillet. They had a lot on the menu that I have yet to try. Try these and see what they should REALLY taste like. 10/10 Secondly, the orange chicken ACTUALLY tastes like real, fresh orange!! Not overly sweet and doughy like most places. The flavor is phenomenal. Only thing is, I wish they were a little crispier but I'm sure you could request that upon ordering. Fried rice and noodles are also delicious! First time I got the dumplings there, and second time had them delivered. Equally delicious- which I was worried about. Just so you know! :)

Got here around 11:45AM and there was a good stream of customers placing orders to go. While waiting I noticed they have a section selling chopsticks, and they even had children's Disney chopsticks. We waited about 20 minutes for our food and though we only ordered 2 dishes, it felt very heavy. Instead of their lunch specials, we ordered a couple of regular entrees. I thought General Tso Chicken was ok. I liked it wasn't very sweet and breading was minimal. You could actually taste big chunks of chicken. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the Beef Lo Mein at all. I immediately smelled and tasted old oil which was very off putting and was very bland. I love vegetables and was disappointed with how little there was. Hubs even commented about the lack of vegetables. The portions are huge and we could only finish about a third. They give you a ton of food and the prices are lower than other Chinese restaurants around here. Service was also good. The question I always ask myself is would I return for their food and sadly the answer is no.
