Giving this 5 stars. Compared to the Chinese restaurants in Exeter, this place deserves a 5.

Had the Moo Goo Gai Pan-possibly the best I've ever had in my many years of eating it, including Chinatown in Philly!

Yooo what it is…read more Suggestions and final words are at the bottom. Physical Features: (.5/1) Resting cozily in Boyertown, Pennsylvania at the corner of East Philadelphia Ave and Douglas St. is Panda House, a small, shabby, Asian eatery that serves both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The outside looks kind of meh, but inside is where the real magic is. The eatery is filled with lots of Asian art work - a few small statues, Chinese paintings, lots of red decor, waterfall murals, and much more. The lighting is a little too dim for my liking. The restroom, counter area, sushi bar, and dining area were kept very clean and tidy. It looks like the ceiling is about to fall through directly about the counter area, but nothing to be worried about. It gives off a modern, cool, Asian vibe. Service: (2/2) Upon arrival, you are to wait to be seated, there are a selection of scattered tables and booths that you can pick per request or they will just seat you. You will be presented with two menus (a lunch menu and a regular menu) based on what time you come, a Chinese Zodiac sheet, and some crispy Chinese noodles with red, sweet and sour sauce. Service came by every 2-3 minutes before I placed my order. The waiter was very attentive. My food, Beef Ho Fun ($8.50 - out in 10 minutes) and the Spicy Scallop Roll ($6.50 - a few minutes after the Beef Ho Fun because I ordered it later) came out in a very timely manner. The server had a slight accent, but nothing difficult to understand. Food Rating (2/2): - The Beef Ho Fun: 4/5. A dish composed of thin, broad rice noodles, sliced onions, scallions, bean sprouts, a mixture of soy sauce and other spices. The dish is stir fried very well. There are no excessive juices flowing around from too much flavoring. It maybe a little bland for your liking, but a tad bit of soy sauce will help. This dish is a good dish in my opinion - try it if you like Pad See Ewe or other thin noodle based dishes. - The Spicy Scallop Roll: 4/5. A roll of maki-sushi (rice and filling wrapped in seaweed) stuffed with Spicy scallops, served with a bit of wasabi and ginger. They stuff their rolls with more spicy scallop than the average sushi eatery. Try it if you're craving a spicy scallop roll - it's pretty good. - Overall, there is an expansive and a wide variety of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. If you are interested in either cuisine, Panda House will not disappoint. JT's suggestions - Pick the table seating over the booths. If there are people sitting behind you at the booths, you will feel when they move around in their booth... which may irritate you. Final Words: Don't let the outside of the restaurant influence your decision on whether or not to come here. Their great service and quality of food is superb. 4.5/5

Local Sushi Spot of mention for sure at Panda Garden!…read moreThe sushi is fresh and well proportioned for the price- definitely recommend in food quality. Ordered their special Sparkle Roll, Spicy Scallop Sushi, White Tuna Sushi and an Egg Roll. Favorite bite was the spicy scallop. We ordered for take out, as the inside is not much of ambiance. So on food for taste, quality, pricing and portion absolutely 4 stars. Where this 3 star rating arrives from was the surprise on our bill. A tip was automatically included on receipt. I did not manually place a tip on my order, rather this was discovered at check out. Never ever have a problem in being a generous tipper, however this should be left to the customer at discretion. The blatant insertion of tip was alarming. For that respect of service, need to downgrade my rating. Which is unfortunate, because this food is solid sushi takeaway!!

I've been here 3 times now and most recently with my parents! This place has not disappointed me…read moreeach time I've come. It was pretty busy on Saturday when we went for dinner but we didn't have to wait too long and our food actually came out pretty fast. The service was as expected because it looked like 1 guy was serving all tables and he was literally running between table to table. I don't blame him for any waiting because he was busting his butt and we didn't really need to wait too long. We ordered a variety of dishes coming here but my favorite has to be the Homestyle Tofu or the Fish Filet. I would like to try more dishes next time. They give you quite a good amount of food for the price. Some places charge the same and give you much less. This place has authentic Chinese food with some common favorites that many of us also know (chicken with broccoli, lo mein, general tso's etc.) so there is something for everyone. There are vegetarian dishes available as well. If you're in the area and would like more savory, authentic Chinese food I recommend coming here!

Dinner for my party of three which is characteristically occurring either at 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm…read more(pending all three's physical presence together) we dined here on Independence Day 2026. Surprisingly Yi Pin is open and fully operational on a major federal holiday. The air conditioning is rather weak during our dining experience as I felt warm during the Northeast heat wave oppressive humidity continuous week. Customer service is attentive and staff is fluent in Mandarin and English. Yi Pin is a Chinese restaurant that serves regional cuisine of Shanghainese and Szechuan province. It is what my party of three refer non-Cantonese, Guangdong province 外省人 ngoi6 saang2 jan4 (noun) outside province; foreign person. Ergo, staff does not speak Cantonese - neither rudimentary level. Price is extortionate high, but expected in 2026 stagflation era. I was able to obtain the sales receipt as keepsake. Asian melon hard candy is distributed with the bill upon meal completion which is industry standard for Asian restaurants and cafes. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 18%, 20% and 22% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. There is one large beautiful Japanese beckoning cat, (maneki-neko) which adjacent to the cash register. Business cards are available for grabs. There is a customer parking lot available. Beef noodle soup $15.95 The soup broth bubbles are very visible for the high level of cholesterol and fat content. I believe the cook or kitchen staff used and implemented MSG. This was a big setback leading to disappointment for my three Yelp stars. Lo Mein chicken $12.95 It was stirred fried and abundant for excessive quantity. I did not consume any - neither one bite. It seemingly appeared very high grease and fat content for excessive oil. Shanghainese soup dumplings 6 pieces, $10.95 Pork steam soup dumplings siu2 lung4 baau1, 小籠包 tasted average, but not exuberant great to awaken my soul for sprightly liveliness. There were very minimal soup liquid inside the dumpling upon biting. I did ponder with hope and wonder during our wait for our food order arrival that these soup dumplings would be bursting with excessive soup liquid and flavor. It was not served piping hot as I am accustomed in NYC Shanghainese restaurant industry standards. These dumplings prepared by the cook(s) or kitchen staff at Yi Pin are egregiously appalling and insult to New York Chinese. I refused to apologize for being a native New Yorker. The dumpling skin tip where placing the serving tongs also tasted hard. Also another reason for my three Yelp stars.
