Instead of opting for the famous cortisone shot, I took that cash and went all in on acupuncture- and that was the best decision of my life! I knew really nothing about acupuncture. I just knew I was sick of screaming and crying in pain. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't sit, I literally would scream in the car after a mile. I went two times a week for three weeks, then once a week.. And after about eight sessions, I could sleep again. I weaned down to even just once a month, and now over a year later I can just go in for a tune up. One time i threw my back out on a Thursday, and he fixed me up to leave for my two week vacation by the following Wednesday within 4 appointments. Good things take time, because I didn't have to go back. Brian and his wife are two of the friendliest, most kind and knowledgable people I have met in the field. I find myself living in SoCal without them, and decided I had to finally write this overdue review. Brian's treatments changed my life. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much.
