This place is an "eh" if you're in the mood for Chinese but can't find Panda Express. We got 2 egg rolls, not bad. Got fried dumplings which were ok. Pork fried rice, ok. And also Mongolian beef which was a disappointment with 90% being onions and mushrooms and the other 10% beef. It did come with white rice and fortune cookies. Will we go back...doubt it. Was the expectation world class Asian cuisine...no, but I understand catering to the market. Just don't expect much. read more

Yum yum yum!!! Quick and easy food to go! I absolutely enjoyed everything I picked out from here. The fried rice with everything is yummy, the chickens, and steamed shrimp with veggies is just all sooooo good!! Every piece of chicken was so chewy it was making my jaw tired. The sauce on the general T'so and orange chicken were bland and just tasted like sugar. The store front was neat and clean. They lock the bathroom and label it for employees only. ( I thought it was funny) they were polite and the good was server hot and fairly quickly. This used to be our go-to spot for Chinese in Sumter for years. Today we got our usual Seseme Chicken combination and it was awful! We couldn't finish it. Absolutely no taste, except salt! Whatever you've done, go back to what you were doing last year. We can not return for this stuff! read more

We got takeout from this restaurant last night. We've been in Sumter 18 years and haven't tried it yet. Now I know why. We ordered shrimp fried rice, bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, and a few egg rolls. Even though I called the order in, it seemed to take an inordinate amount of time for it to be completed. The shrimp fried rice was just as good as any other place in town. The egg rolls we're not too bad either. They seemed fresh enough. Unfortunately the sesame and bourbon chicken lacked any sort of real flavor in the sauce. The pieces of chicken were overly large, but tender. They don't take Discover, either. I will stick to places that are little closer to home. Not worth the extra gas. read more

Chinese buffet right in front of the Sumter mall is still my go to for dine in and carry out Chinese in Sumter. The food is decent for one of those lazy movie and Chinese take out the days. The portions are reasonable and the orders come out fast. Only downside is that the customer service is extremely lacking and poor. The two young ladies working up front are very unprofessional. Whether it be in personal or simply calling over the phone for a call in order. I'm usually super generous and always give a tip to whatever service I can but this is the only place in town I will refuse to do so. read more

We usually go out of our way to order from this restaurant for Chinese takeout because we love the eggrolls. We have been regulars for over two years. We ordered our usual order tonight, and the eggrolls were clearly something they had gone next door to IGA to purchase. I don't know if they were out (which they should have advised us of upon ordering) or if they are really going to serve these awful and far smaller eggrolls regularly instead. Either way, we will be giving our business to the closer restaurant now because it was that bad. This isn't the first time they have suddenly altered the regular menu. Usually, it's pretty decent fare, aside from these missteps that are becoming more common. It's unfortunate, because the family running it seems very nice. read more
