Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Ordered the beef and broccoli. Way too much salt! Hard to find any beef or broccoli.

For a place with the word "wing" in its name, the wings were terrible. They were tiny, over fried, dried out, and flavor was lacking. The house lo mein also seemed to be lacking in flavor. The General Tso's chicken was just ok - lacked any spice for a dish that is supposed to be spicy, tasted more like a bland sweet and sour chicken. The best thing I had was their default turkey fried rice - lots of variety of veggies, eggs, and seasoning. Also, they do give you large portions - but that's equivalent to the higher price they charge. read more

Worst food I have ever had, I would give 0 stars if I could. The rice was BURNT and smelt like cigarette smoke and the chicken was soggy and tasted like rubber. The rice's and different kings of egg rolls and spring rolls is the only good thing here in my opinion, the sweet and sour chicken is dry and tough like it's been over cooked, I wish they would give you the sweet and sour sauce on the side to put on the rice, I mostly get rice and egg rolls from here read more

Oh Dear China Wing, How we adore thee. China Wing is THE go-to place for Chinese take-out in the big city of Sumter. On a given night the parking lot is packed with cars, the waiting area is standing-room only and you will have a little wait for your food. The food is as good as it gets for Sumter, which isn't saying much, but shoot, find a better competitor that 1) is open that late 2) exists at all... exactly... none, so 5 stars it is :) Good old faithful China Wing, as soon as we arrive to Sumter, we visit thee. They used to be good back when I was a kid but now they are nasty.. the rice looks like dirty rice and the food just doesn't taste good..

So, we have been coming here fairly often for many years. We love the sesame chicken and normally get a few egg rolls to go along with it. However, this evening the egg rolls were so bad. Maybe they were made up 6 months ago and got freezer burn and then fried today with our food. Need to fix that... seriously! The sesame chicken and my son's chicken fried rice with BBQ wings was very good, though. Just don't bother with those dumpy-looking egg rolls. read more

I travel to Sumter to see family a few times a year and I always make it a point to stop here and get my sweet & sour chicken with ham fried rice on my way out of town and back home to Charlotte. They give you plenty so I always have some for the next day. This place is always packed. my dish is always good. They make it a point to show you your food before you walk out the door. The people at the counter are always working hard doing 3 things at once. (Running cards, answering phone and passing out orders). I love this little hole in the wall spot. read more

House Lo Mein used to be off the chain - now has no taste. Wings salty, even the Teriyaki AND gotten wayyy smaller... along with the egg rolls. Prices has DEF increased. Stayed away for this reason, but seeing how much I loved the House Lo Mein in the past, gave another chance - nothing has changed. Even the rice has no taste and not as "eggy" as previously. We used to LOVE this place under the previous owner, but since it changed hands we quit going. The best thing about China Wing has always been its wings, of course. In fact, "wing" is in the name. Anyway, the new owner went with a smaller, cheaper wing and that killed it for us. A box of 24 wings used to absolutely FILL one of those containers. Now when you open the box, it's half full. Even worse, though, they apparently still cook the smaller wings the same amount of time so they come out hard and overcooked. I hope the new owner is making his profits. We used to order from there just about every weekend. But we haven't spent a dime there in almost a year now. It's kinda sad. They went from the best wings in town to the worst wings in town. read more

This has to be the worst oriental restaurant that I have ever been in, I was stationed in Okinawa Japan for five years and I think I know what good oriental good taste like, this is not it. First of all let's talk about the ghetto girls at the counter, one comes out taking about her experience in the restroom while I am at the counter, I didn't want to hear about that. The other one chimes right in like it was funny, NOT,! The management and owners should be ashamed, and the food! AWFUL! The evil tasted like straight vinegar and the rice was overcooked and dry. I have been in Sumter for about 25 years and never stopped in. Last weekend my friend from manning was like you got to try this place. I'm glad we did. I agree with the other person you are going to have a wait but its worth it. Everything was cooked great, and they give you so much food. I will most be going back soon. read more
