The "studio" is a wooden deck covered with a white canvas "tent", overlooking a garden with a gorgeous Boddhi tree with the beauty of the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop. It's a very new studio, classes are affordable, and it is NOT crowded (yet). It is well worth the drive from Kona or any surrounding area to take a class. The atmosphere itself made me fall in love and my yoga practice that much more enriching that day.

Her sound healing class is one of the best I have ever attended, it really balanced some issues I have in my vagal nerve due to childhood ptsd. I felt a lot more grounded the week I attended the sound healing. She also knows how to instruct people into difficult poses. She eases the student into difficult poses at the level they are capable of, so they can evolve into the pose without injuring themselves. Her graceful teaching style definitely shows her years of experience and wisdom . Yoga Hale is a cozy beautiful home environment that I really enjoy and gotten a lot of healing from. Quick easy process to sign up and sign waiver online. When I arrived, Chantel, the teacher greeted me at the entrance and checked me in. It didn't look like the information was received on her end, but it was again, a quick easy process. After paperwork and payment, she guided me back to the studio. It appeared to be a maze through another studio with curtains surrounding the workout floor and through another with a curtain. This was a smaller studio with about 8 infrared heating elements around the perimeter. There were only three students, including me. Chantel is in incredible shape and she led her class in a way that resembles that. Although I've taken hot yoga classes before within this lineage, she strayed a bit from the normal routine and it pressed me to work harder than I had in the past. Luckily, I survived! She very much tailored the class to the participants, which was very cool. This is a really cool studio with multiple areas for exercise and even a tatoo shop in the back!
