Today June 11 2026. My first visit to Crave Cafe. I have ordered from them but never an in person experience. I was very happy to find an establishment very warm and open and friendly. A nice quiet place to feast but also relax and enjoy a beverage or coffee. The staff, although busy, very friendly and welcoming. My all time favorite is their Panini Caprese. So savory, so flavorful I have had it on several occasions . Highly recommend. Close your eyes and bite into the panini after dipping it in the balsamic dip or the garlic dip. Immediately you will feel like you are at a cafe in Italy maybe on the Amalfi coast. Only thing missing is the ocean breeze off the Mediterranean Sea. 10 out of 10 I also ordered an everything bagel with salmon capers and pickled onions. 9 out of 10. A Chicken panini for my wife. Very tasty. Well made. 9 out of 10. If you're in Kona and don't want a huge meal but looking for a satisfying one, stop here and grab the Caprese Panini. Kimo read more

We found this gem of a Cafe whilst looking for a smoothie bowl. I'm so glad we chose this place among the many places with smoothie bowls and acai bowls! Service was amazing! We felt very welcome from the very beginning. The café has several tables and chairs, and we decided to eat our smoothie bowls there. It was a great choice too. They arrived promptly to our table, and they were sooo good! We enjoyed it so much, we will definitely stop here a few times during our trip, and I'm already planning what to get next. Food - 5 stars Ambiance - 5 stars Service - 5 stars I was so happy with my decision to not go to the coffee shop I was initially looking for and to end up at Crave Cafe! I ordered a medium, Cafe Mocha served hot and it was heavenly! This drink immediately gave me a boost I needed to make the drive over to Waimea for the day for a conference. The shop decor was so cute I could easily see myself sitting here for hours studying, getting grades done, catching up with emails, etc. They have egg shaped chairs under a cute neon sign near the entrance. There are also many dainty and lovely plants placed in different spots. I would 100 percent come back here again. Please visit them and order a Cafe Mocha served hot! read more

What a cute little cafe! Open just about a year now, and conveniently located about 15 minutes from the airport, Crave has plenty of parking and indoor seating with free wifi. I ordered the caprese avocado toast and "the local" iced (Ube, coconut, and espresso). The avo toast was perfectly balanced with lots of avocado and balsamic glaze. Seriously delicious! I also enjoyed the local more than I thought I might. Definitely get it iced! Very friendly service. So glad to have discovered this sweet cafe on my island hop. read more

We were waiting for the dive shop to open and Crave was in the same shopping center so we grabbed drinks and a toast. Weren't expecting much but this place delivered! We got four items: The local - ube and coconut latte was SO good. Light, easy drinking. I could drink this every day. The Sunrise smoothie - super smooth! It had POG, papaya and strawberry. The caprese avocado toast - we went light on the pesto but it was so tasty. Light quick breakfast! The cold brew was exactly how you want it - strong and flavorful. Easy parking. read more

What a cute lil find!! Was heading home after the gym and saw this new cafe had opened up so I dropped by for a drink. The owner, Jennifer, was friendly and welcoming! She said they had just opened August 12th. You can tell she's put a whole lotta love into her business! Besides service, this review is based off of one drink as I haven't tried their food--but will update when I do! I ordered the "winter swell" with soy milk which was an up-charge of $2 (a bit pricier than other places for the substitution) but the drink was great! It was a bit sweet but you could still taste the notes of espresso. Would probably ask for it less sweet if I order again. Total for just the 16oz bev with tax came out just shy of $9.50. I'll be back next weekend to try some other items. She said they'll have loyalty cards coming in soon. Overall, I'd recommend stopping by her cute cafe if you're in the area!! read more

by for a place for breakfast or brunch today. We are staying up in Waikoloa and heading down to Costco but wanted to eat first. Checking out Yelp of course this was recommended. It is darling inside. Very clean, bright staff are very friendly. We ordered a cafe mocha, the wave smoothie, ham n cheese croissant, and croissant sammie. The smoothie was great. A beautiful blue color because of the blue spirulina. Cafe mocha delicious too. The croissant sandwiches were hot and crispy. The pesto aioli gave it a surprising flavor. I loved the ham n cheese croissant. I like things sweet so I would add a jam to it and it would have made it taste like a Monte Cristo, which , but of my favorite sandwiches. Best coffee, amazing bagels. This is a gem on Big Island. If you don't have much time I would recommend to go there for just there smoothies. Service is swift. Mocha and latte's were awesome too. Best part - they play great music. read more

Crave is simply a great coffee shop. Although it lacks "quaintness" it's got everything you need. Great coffee and food choices. Clean as a whistle, great service and a good location. Free (and fast) wifi, with good seating and tables. The fruit bowls are basically smoothies with some extra toppings put on (extra fruit and granola). Simple, but quite tasty and healthy. Their bathroom is shared with the strip mall, but I still give them 5 stars. read more

Omg this place is so refreshing!!! Firstly the vibe is on point it's such a nice place to hangout or work on your laptop. AC is ice cold. Chairs are comfy. Secondly but most importantly this is the best smoothie I've had in Kona.... I'm almost always disappointed when I get a smoothie in town. I had some work to finish and planned to leave about 15 minutes before closing at 3 p.m., but the owner kindly said, "You can stay; you have some time."
