One of my clients referred this place and raved about the flavor, so I gave it a chance. I called in so that I wouldn't have to wait and the food was ready when I arrived. The young lady cashing us out was very friendly and professional. Although there were people in the ample dining area, they were waiting on their orders and not eating in. It looks clean, they have a community area where people can share their business cards and flyers (I always love seeing this in businesses) upon entering. My first time here I ordered the catfish, it tasted great, but the coatings was falling off it so that kinda was a bummer. Second time are the wings you see pictured, no complaints at all. Third time we ordered while next door at the laundromat. I found out that I could've been earning points on a loyalty card this whole time, but we were given an extra stamp/punch for the courtesy. We came back to pick up and had the wrong sauce on our chicken. They replaced it with the correct sauce and we were smashing about 10-12 minutes later. They are still working out the kinks, but I would most definitely give them a visit. It's a good price for the quality, quantity and taste. This is my rotation for fried chicken wings (WHOLE WINGS, not DINGS).

Finally, I made it to Hooked in Warrensville Heights, OH. I have seen several pictures of delicious dishes such as the Lamb Chops and the pasta dinner on social media posts. The food looks and smells amazing. However, I ordered the Catfish dinner, that came with 2 fillets, fries and a side of cole slaw for $16.00. I enjoyed the fish. The flavor was perfect. The seasoning was not salty, at least today during the lunch rush on a Saturday. The rest of the meal could have been better. The Cole slaw was dry and missing the dressing. Like for real, for real it was bland and dry. The fries may have been sitting under a light for too long long. The fries were not hot or warm. However, the fish and fries were served at two temperatures. The fish was hot but I can only wonder if the fish was still frozen while cooked. Lastly, the hush puppies were mushy. I smashed one and it is still smushed. I'm used to hush puppies being crispy on the outside and seasoned. Yes, I am going to return for another try. Hooked just opened their doors and I'm here to support. However, the food is expensive and as a newbie, I think they should have lowered their prices instead of shaking us down for mediocre. Better luck next time!

Ordered almost $70 worth, everything was right except for one order. I ordered a catfish Po boy, it was labeled catfish Po boy but they gave me a shrimp po boy. Called in to get a refund but they would not refund it and only give me an in store credit. But I will not be back. Spoke with manager on shift Destiny. Not satisfied with the resolution of their error.

Nice size. Clean. Nice greeting. I am giving 4 stars and not 5 because of the wait. Understandably everything is cooked to order. However, since it was 6:45 pm and they were closing at 7 we ordered fried pickles and the beignets figuring it would take 15 mins it took 30 mins. A little pricy on the Beignets $8 for 6, food was fresh and flavorful I will go back allowing extra time for preparation.

BEST FRIED CATFISH IN THE CLEVELAND AREA!!!! So we found this restaurant because the chef works a catering event for my family And we Found out he had a restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant being ran by the head chef and his beautiful partner. Let me tell you something .... this Catfish was some of the best Catfish I have ever had. And because I know there is a possibility Of a better fish out there....I can't say it's the Best catfish in the world. But it's up there!!!! These people really know what they're doing in the kitchen. The chicken wings were amazing as well and they served it with something called 24 Carrot gold sauce!!!! TO DIE FOR. We also ordered the zucchini sticks, which were perfectly battered. Not too heavy, jpNot too light and very crispy. If you are in the Cleveland area, I'm looking for some amazing soul food, check them out.!!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service was a 10/10 Quality 10/10 Ambiance - Clean and a room to dine in

I called to let them know, and the young male cashier who answered the phone acted like I was bothering him. He said he would "go ask the manager what to do," put me on hold, and then hung up on me. When I called back, he hung up again without saying anything. So I drove up there -- even though I didn't really have the time my because fiancé recently had surgery on his leg so I'm taking care of him-- and yet things got even worse. In person, the same cashier cut me off while I was speaking, told me to my face that I was wrong, and said he had already checked the order (which clearly wasn't true). When I tried to explain, he got loud, threw my receipt on the floor, and kept arguing with me in front of other customers. His tone, attitude, and behavior were unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, stayed calm, and offered to make the missing items for me -- which I appreciated but while speaking with him the cashier would interject with rude, condescending and callous remarks, trying to continue the argument. The cashier placed the bag on the counter and refused to even acknowledge me. He just stared away like I wasn't standing there. The manager saw this too, and ended up moving him to the back room and handing me the food himself. My little sister was also disrespected when she came in to pick up our initial order. He would say "I can't really help you" and would walk away to sit on his phone and put his feet up on the counter. How are you the cashier manning the counter and can't give someone their order?. He gave the same response to another lady as well. We usually go to the Lee's Seafood Boil in Solon. The food is amazing there and the customer service is some of the best I've ever had. While the one on Lee Rd is the exact opposite and they're extremely greasy in comparison. We will never be returning to the Lee Rd location and will forever stick with Lee's In Solon. Manager: 4/5 - respectful, professional, and made it right. Cashier: 0/5 - rude, dishonest, disrespectful, and completely out of line. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. No one deserves to be treated like that. I won't be coming back unless serious changes are made -- starting with that cashier.

I come from CA, so kbbq is very popular and abundant out there. I've had it for many years at many places. Here i drove an hour to try this place because it had great reviews. I see now they're rated well most likely because many may not know better. Keep in mind I'm used to CA prices (which are very high compared to most of the U.S.), but this place in Solon is VERY overpriced. A rip off honestly. Sides were not all you can eat, you get 2 refills then they charge $1 for each tiny side you order. They charge $40 a person's for "all you can eat" but they only have 9 items to pick from??!! In CA pay literally half the price and the quality and taste of the meat is far, far better and the selection can go up to 40 choices of meat/entrees. We decided to not order all you can eat because the selection was so sad. Plus we really wanted beef bulgogi which wasn't even offered on the all you can eat menu. Seriously??!! We decided instead to just try a single order of beef bulgogi as a single order sinxe thats all they offered. We figured if it was good we could order more and still pay less than all you can eat prices for meat we don't want. So glad we did! Because the bulgogi did not taste good, and that put the final nail in the coffin for us. Thank goodness we didn't waste anymore money there. My wife even commented, "this meat tastes weird. Is it even cow?" And let's talk about the portion. Oh my gosh, we were shocked. $33 for an order of Bulgogi was ourageous. Besides, the taste was terrible and the portion was half the size! We literally visited California last week to visit family for a week, and I went to H Mart (local, popular Korean store) and purchased bulbogi for a big BBQ. I literally got quality, amazing, delicious meat for $29 and it was double the portion size of this place. They had the same Soju and Blackberry Wine we had before and like. Normally we paid $14 for the wine bottle, anx that's CA prices. Here they charge a whopping $22 for the exact same thing. They have a time limit of 90 minutes to eat which I've never heard of before, and it was funny because the restaurant was literally empty except for me and my wife. Good thing we only stayed 30 minutes. They gave us no napkins. I had to look around the restaurant and take some tiny cocktail napkins since we rarely saw our server. No brisket sauce offered either. And no rice paper offered. Different, disappointing, but not the worst especially compared to everything else. Service was the same as CA, that is to say either non existent and/or not pleasant. But in CA, people usually put up with that because the food is so good and it's all you can eat. My wife summed it up perfectly. She said that's what you get when you have no competition and no one knows better taste and quality exists. We quickly ate the little food we had so we don't waste food but even more than that we wanted to finish quickly so we could leave and find food elsewhere because we were so hungry! We drove an hour just to try the place and we're starving. It will be my mission to explore Ohio for a delicious kbbq place I can enjoy and point people to so no one ever again has to waste their money at gogi end bbq. 1/5

Ima sucker for good old fashioned customer service. The service alone would make me come back but baby the food. Let me give y'all my experience. Let me start. I saw a post on Facebook and thought to myself I would love to try this place. So one Saturday evening after attending Fevers Candlelight Tribute to Coldplay we decide to give it a try. When we arrived we wanted to know where to park, so we called the restaurant and one of the owners said he would come and valet our car for us! Total shock. We get inside and the vibe and the ambiance was amazing! There was a couple inside enjoying their date. The candles were lit and smelled fantastic by the way. It just gave my husband and I an overall relaxed feeling. The decor was beautiful and it reminded me of some of the great jazz spots in Washington DC. Alice's to be particular. The fireplace was lit and the design choices were carefully crafted. The husband (owner) did a great job of orating the history of the location and the contributions his parents made to both the US military and the local Dentistry community here in northeast Ohio. While the wife (Owner/Chef) did a terrific job of informing us of how the food would be prepared and what flavours and notes were present in each dish and how they would compliment each other. We just live a good cocktail and a story. Speaking of cocktails we tried the "Doli Stoli" a delicious cocktail made with Vodka and infused pineapple. Delectable. I did not eat the appetiser (allergy) which was the Chicken & Shrimp Gumbo consisting of a Rich roux trinity cajun spices and rice. I have to assume it was delicious since I didn't even get to take a picture because the husband was devouring it. I enjoyed the Zuppa Toscana; a tasty soup comprising of Rustic potatoes in savory parmesan broth with house turkey sausage & spinach. I wanted to ditch my manners and lick the bowl but I didn't. The husband enjoyed the Fish & Chips which was a delicious platter of Beer battered Cod filets, crispy fries & creamy slaw w/ house tartar sauce. I don't even know where to begin. Everything was so delicious and fresh. A true burst of flavour exploding in your mouth. I will say this the overall experience was other worldly, but you know the God was good when you get home with leftovers and eat everything without warming it up. Insane. This place is what this community needed. We have the gift of folk who are rooted in community, experts in their field, and actually love what they do and guess what; it shows in their food!
