I won't elaborate too much on the Lakers, Kobe, and his daughter because everyone would be aware of the essence of this place. The mural of Kobe and his daughter smiling beautifully captures the power of love between father and daughter. The court floor is painted in yellow and purple, matching the Lakers' theme perfectly. What an inspiring and grateful gift to the community. Lucky you, Anaheim! There's a glass backboard on each side of the basketball hoop. The floor is made of plastic material similar to beer bottle racks, making it non-slippery and great for safety, especially when performing ankle-breaking crossover moves. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 despite it being stunningly beautiful and the only full court available. The issue is that when groups of 10 show up, smaller groups get pushed out with nowhere else to go. After shooting around for a few minutes at half court, my son and I were forced to move aside when 10 people suddenly decided to play full court. This is a public court, so I don't mind sharing. However, with no other full courts in the area, we had no choice but to step off. I would have loved to reserve the next game, but we were there for my son's practice, so the timing wasn't right. Maybe next time we'll join in for some 5-on-5 with the older crowd!

I was there over the weekend, and found parking easily. There were plenty of people playing, and plenty of shade. This park is well-maintained, and is quite spacious! There were a lot of kids sports happening when I was there, and it looks like there were a few areas where sports was happening. I'm excited to come back to this park and make it my dedicated Pokemon GO raid day spots.

Big area- you can play basketball, volleyball and big field for soccer, football and baseball. also i see a lot of dog owners playing with their dogs here. 4. Newly renovated toddler playground with cover and new soft flooring. 5. you can see Catalina Island and watch a nice sunset from here as well. The gardeners clean and mow the grass on a weekly basis. They just need to pay more attention the walkway area going to the park coz when the water flows downhill, the dirt and wood chips tend to run towards the walkway.( reason for 4 stars) Also you need to be careful walking after 5 when it's dark coz there are coyotes running on the field.

There is two small parking lots, too. The park is clean and crowd-free unless it's tied to baseball practices or game day. Then, the cars are spilled along the streets and residential area which I'm sure annoyed the tenants. I came here a couple times supporting baseball little league practices. The metal bleachers seem recently replaced for seating to watch the games in the field. Surprisingly for a "park" there's very little trees. Overall, a nice park. We need more parks and trails for all neighborhood to enjoy.
