I asked if I could talk to someone who knows what's going on and they said no as their director, who they inform me is supposed to be in at 10AM, is not here at 10:45. We were also told someone would be calling us. Never happened. They can't even tell who made our account and gave us inaccurate information because whoever did was using someone else's account. The staff conduct is so incredibly unprofessional. We now have to pay for that persons mistake. The other girl at the front desk is on her phone laughing as we are trying to explain what is going on. The facility is nice enough, just so disappointing that anytime you need help this is how they treat you.

SoCal Combat Club is great at not overlooking any one's training as Coach Danny is great at prioritizing all students some may have experienced getting overlooked at other gyms due to the sheer size of the classes and though there are plenty of high level jiujitsu and mma practitioners to learn and train with at SoCal Combat club the class size is the perfect amount as to not get lost in the crowd. Their coaches have no class and encourage their players to play dirty. This type of philosophy was even being taught to their 2nd grade girls. I even spoke to several of the tournament directors the past few weeks and it seems like this is consistent with their overall reputation. Then I found Fitness 19. It's smaller than most gyms, but that works in its favor. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. People actually come here to work out instead of sitting on a machine for 45 minutes scrolling through TikTok and guarding it like it's the Iron Throne. The place is clean, organized, and doesn't smell like a medieval battlefield after three days in the sun. Equipment is where it's supposed to be. Nobody seems determined to create chaos. My only complaint is that it isn't open 24 hours. Sometimes I get the urge to exercise at 2 a.m. after making poor dietary decisions and watching motivational videos that convince me I'm one workout away from becoming Batman. The pricing is reasonable, and they offer additional classes if that's your thing. Personally, I'm just a basic member, and the basic membership has everything I need. No gimmicks, no nonsense, no influencers filming workouts and then asking you to get out of their Oscar Worthy shot. For the first time in a long time,I don't dread going to the gym. Have a lot of outdoor tennis courts along w pickle ball courts. The restrooms are also really clean. Has a shower too. In the area near the office entrance, there are a lot of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal or drink under the tree with shades. Have an ice machine open to use. Located off State College street. Lots of parking available. It's on a same property lot with a big park.

After I moved to Anaheim, I decided to get back into it and this lace was my method for doing so. I go to their adult clinics at least once a week. I've tried almost all levels and like them all in their own ways. The live ball sessions are my fave due to the higher level of players. All the coaches are great. Th facility is large and has plenty of courts. I also like renting courts and a machine when I'm solo to practice my shots. I also get my rackets strung here. Really can't say enough good things about the facility. I highly recommend you come here and give tennis a try!

I called at 6pm on a Saturday, asking if racket rentals could accommodate 4 people coming in. They…read moresaid yes. However, only when we arrived at 6:30 from Newport, did the front desk staff bother to mention that all courts were booked from 7-8. Even so, I was okay with that at first, we will just play until 7 and wait to play from 8-9. However, the front desk staff told us that we would have to pay for racket rentals twice (!) for the two "sessions". When we asked if we could just pay once ($7 per racket is already expensive, especially for dead strings), they refused. Not only that, we were asked to stop playing on more than one court, despite there being multiple courts empty at the time. And we were rushed out immediately after the 30 minute session that we settled for (despite still! open courts). I understand that policy and conflicting reservations may be a problem. But when I am just wanting to bring my family to a place with open courts at the time and a simple request of not wanting to pay twice for a rental in the same day, I think some leniency is due. In other facilities, I have never experienced this kind of treatment, especially such cold communication from the front desk. Please consider going to another badminton gym. :(
