Supposed to arrive at Fort Wayne spot at 5 pm according to web site. Didn't arrive until 6:11. Not good. The driver dropped someone off in Indy, stopped for gas, and took someone to their apartment before finally getting to the destination where I was waiting for my son to arrive for over an hour. We have used this company many times and had never had a problem. If your flight is late, they check. I don't know where people are flying to but it is much cheaper than flying out of Fort Wayne and connecting with Chicago. read more

Did what they said and had nice transport. Definitely a local businesses with very little tech savvy. Would be great if they had an online system. They do take reservations online, but for any changes you must call. Would use again. Wish pickup demarcation was more well defined at the airport. read more

I had booked the shuttle to take my son (age 4) and me to Fort Wayne after a red eye flight to Indianapolis. Our flight was delayed, we got to our hotel at 2:20am. The shuttle pickup time was for 10:00am at the airport. I woke up later than I planned (9:30) and got together as quick as I could and called an Uber to get back to the airport by 10. It's my fault. I was late. I accept that. But here's the thing, guys: at 9:54 the shuttle driver calls to ask where I am. I say I'm in an Uber heading to the airport. My hotel is right by the airport. I don't think I could've been more than 10 minutes away with traffic and we were already in the car driving when the shuttle driver called. So anyway, I tell him I'm on the way and running a couple minutes late. A couple minutes later I get a call from a woman in the office who tells me "this is ridiculous" and I'm putting her "in a tough spot" because they have another customer who is irate that they haven't left yet. Well... considering it still wasn't 10:00 yet, i don't know why that customer would be irate about not having left yet or why they would even be concerned with that. Anyway, I tell the woman that we're very close, I can see the planes on the ground driving past them. We're at the airport. And she says to me "well you could still be another 5 minutes away. This is just ridiculous." So I backed off and said that I know it's my fault for not being there on time so she should just do what she has to do. She suggests having us go on the 12:30 shuttle, and "maybe we can leave a little earlier than that." (Yes, tell the customer who is getting left behind for being 5 minutes late that your plan is to leave earlier than scheduled for the next shuttle. WHAT ABOUT THOSE CUSTOMERS?!) I said I have a sister who lives in Indy and I'll just go to her house and get a ride to Fort Wayne with her. She tells me I can keep my credit for 12 months. K so at this point, I'm literally on airport property with my 4 year old who has been through traveling all night, and they're planning to leave me because another customer wants to get on the road. (Way to pick one customer over another, guys.) I told my Uber driver I need to go to Fishers to my sisters house and he seemed delighted for the extra pay. So we turned around at the cell phone lot at the airport, because, again, it's not yet 10:00 and I'm on airport property when they tell me they won't wait another 5 minutes. My Uber driver took me to Fishers (I still haven't looked at the cost because I know it will make me angry) and on the highway, we passed the Hoosier shuttle. Yup. PASSED THE SHUTTLE ON THE HIGHWAY. So, good for you that you decided you needed to leave a mom and 4 year old so you could get on the road. Clearly couldn't have made up those minutes on the drive. And if this customer was really freaking out like that, I hope no one needed a bathroom break along the way, because there's your 5 minutes and then some. At any rate, really not sure I'll bother cashing in on my 12 months of credit... and my parents, who were planning to book the shuttle for a flight they're taking later this month, have decided instead to make other arrangements. In summary, I accept that I was wrong for being late, but the Hoosier Shuttle not having flexibility to wait for 5 minutes and choosing to appease the "irate" passenger who wanted to leave early, was a choice to strand my son and me, caused us a lot of money in Uber fees (not to mention now my sister had to drive us to Fort Wayne...), and lost me as a future customer and my parents and maybe others. Folks...check on flights to FW instead of taking shuttle from airport to FW. I just did and it was actually cheaper than the shuttle! I realize this fluctuates but worth checking!!!! FYI......BTW....Thank you Hoosier Shuttle for cutting out all of your shuttle rides! Because you only had one terrible option for my husband to catch a ride from INDY to FW and because he will be tired from flying all day, I decided to check on re-routing him by plane rather than having him wait at the airport all day for that one scheduled departure on your shuttle. Rerouting him to land in FW rather than INDY was only $43! (the shuttle ride is $55 one way). So thanks to the fact that you cut all of your scheduled rides I looked at flights and we are wayyy better off)! I had reservation with this company and called 6 weeks in advance to cancel it because my travel plans had changed. They said their website mentions they have a no refund policy, but nobody mentioned that to me over the phone when I made the reservation. Now I am stuck with the bill. This is a terrible way to do business; travel plans change for reasons people can't always predict. Calling six weeks ahead to cancel is more than reasonable. And for being responsible, arranging this well ahead of time, being considerate enough to communicate as soon as I knew plans had changed - Hoosier Shuttle rewards me by KEEPING THE ENTIRE AMOUNT of their fee. Hoosier Shuttle was very accommodating for me! I booked a round trip from Indianapolis Airport to Fort Wayne. When my flight into Indianapolis was delayed, the person with whom I spoke on the phone told me that they would be keeping an eye on my flight. My driver, Kevin, waited for me so that I did not have to wait for the next shuttle that departed two and a half hours later. He was very courteous to the passengers on each trip, was willing to make a stop if needed, and even dropped two of us off downtown when he learned that we were both headed that way. Real Hoosier Hospitality! If there was one thing to be aware of, Hoosier Shuttle sometimes picks up Greyhound passengers who are stranded in Indianapolis. We picked up a man whose political views made one of the other passengers and me uncomfortable. Obviously your trip may vary depending on who else is traveling with you. read more

I have never had such an upsetting experience with a company. My elderly mother booked a ride with Hoosier Shuttle for the last ride of the night. She was assured that there would be no problems and they would be waiting for her. Her flight was delayed by 15 minutes, and the shuttle left without her. She had no extra money, was 2 hours away from her home, tired from being awake since 3:00 AM PST. My mother called me in tears because she was left alone there and had an upsetting conversation with a woman who identified herself as the owner, Theresa. I called the shuttle service office myself to see if we could work out a solution for my mother. As soon as I identified that was related to this issue with my mother, the woman, Theresa, went on a tirade saying none of it was her fault and she can't do anything about it. I said I understood it was not her fault that the flight was delayed, that I never accused her of anything, and I asked that we work together to come up with a solution for my very upset, very tired mother. I asked if there were any other drivers or services available, and the woman sarcastically said "this is a 280 mile round trip drive! This isn't across town!" I informed her that I knew how far it was, and it wasn't necessary to be rude with me. I only wanted to find a way to fix this for my mother. Theresa then went on to sarcastically and loudly exclaim "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" after I asked her multiple times not to shout at me and be so rude. She then informed me how she was going out of her way to keep the office open late and how she has someone in her family dying in the hospital. I told her I was not interested in her personal life because this is a business transaction, and I only wanted to work with her to fix the problem. She offered to send a shuttle in the morning, but again that would leave my 65 year old mother without money alone all night in a city two hours from home. My husband then got on the phone, and she changed her tune for some reason after he calmly asked her for a refund. She said she'd refund the money then hung up on him. He had more questions about when it would be refunded, but was obviously unable to ask since she ended the conversation suddenly. We did not wish to call back and get another frantic earful. I was in tears at the end of the conversation, and my mother was still stuck in Indy. Avoid this service. Take an uber, a taxi, a magic carpet. Anything but this. I am still in shock. read more

Please take this review as a warning, this is the worst shuttle service I have ever used. My grandma was coming to visit me in Indianapolis so I booked this shuttle to bring her to my house. The older gentlemen driving the shuttle was an hour late picking her up and she was all alone at the airport. In addition, we provided an address to be the drop off point and this guy tried to drop her off almost 3 miles away. My grandma said he was driving recklessly and she felt very uncomfortable the entire trip. The driver tried to collect the money from my grandma even though you are required to prepay. I tried to contact the company but no one will respond. In summary, late pick ups, reckless driving, incorrect drop off, and terrible customer service. I was traveling by myself to Fort Wayne this trip and decided to give them a try. I was very happy with the whole experience!! I would recommend Hoosier Shuttle to anyone traveling from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne. The lady in the office was very helpful and answered all my questions. Friendly, flexible, reliable, affordable, Hoosier Shuttle eases Indiana travel woes. If you've investigated rental cars in Indiana, you know they are expensive. Wanting to get from the airport in Indianapolis to Peru, IN I opted for Hoosier Shuttle which didn't get me to Peru but dropped me in Marion, which was close enough for me (and kept my brother from having to make the trip to Indy). If you're a meeting planner, don't be put off by the website. I understand Hoosier Shuttle is open to discussions about providing shuttle service to conference and other large groups traveling through Indianapolis. read more

After reading reviews I want to chime in the warning. I had my shuttle service canceled by this establishment because of weather. When I asked for a refund, per their policy, the woman on the other line screamed and yelled and bullied for almost 10 minutes. She was mean and nasty. I would NEVER want a person like this driving me anywhere. They are a money collecting agency and treat out of town customers terribly! Makes me think they are going under. I booked a trip from Indy to Fort Wayne, for a 6:30 trip. I was told when I booked it that it would be at 6;45 the bus would arrive. I said okay, well as I'm sitting and it gets 6:45 no bus is in site. So I called they said it would be another 45minutes before the bus would be here. Well, needless to say I wasn't happy about the situation however I told them to come on, or either give me a refund. They said they couldn't give me a refund, so I said I would like to speak to management about the situation so they could do something about me missing my first nephew being born. Could they have them call back, no one called back, so I called back after the bus still wasn't here at 7:30. The lady name was Theresa, she said she was the manager, and she said that I should be happy that I can ride 100+ miles for $39. She then stated that the taxi is $300. She was very rude, did not want to accommodate me, or refund my money. So from this day fourth, I won't be riding the shuttle anymore, and if there's any other site I can post this I will. They are very rude, she is a bully, and not very customer service oriented. NEVER will I ride HOOSIER SHUTTLE again! read more

We were scheduled to fly from Omaha, Nebraska to Ft. Wayne, Indiana on July 12 to do genealogy work and then fly out of Indianapolis back to our home in St. George, Utah in the afternoon July 14. Because of weather, our flight from Omaha was rescheduled 30 hours later on July 13 giving no time for genealogy work so we flew from Omaha to our home in Utah. We had booked the Hoosier Shuttle from Ft. Wayne to Indianapolis for noon on July 14. As soon as we realized we would not be coming to Indiana, we called Hoosier Shuttle-30 hours before our scheduled departure-and left a message, before the office was open. We called again as soon as the office was open, over 24 hours before our scheduled departure, and were told we could receive a credit but no refund. I explained this was a one-time trip. I spoke with the owner, Teresa, who said she never gives a refund as it "would not be fair." Her suggestion was that we donate our trip to children coming for cancer treatment. My question is "do many children come alone and if they are with parents, why doesn't she donate the trip?" read more
