Columbus is a military town so the biggest tip I can offer you is to not try any establishment for the first time the 1st and 3rd weekend of any month because it's pay day and everyone goes out to eat so there will always be lines and long wait times. I would not suggest coming here on fight nights either if you are expecting good service unless you sit with Tabatha at the bar (she is the most experienced bartender in Columbus and so real! She will always tell it to u like it is), Mariah, Hillary, Rachel C. aka Barbie, Chelsea, Colby, Shella, Keshara, and Jasmine. Those Hooters Girls from Columbus would be your best bet if you are looking for beauty and brains! Oh and for anyone who has a sweet tooth if Tab is working you have to ask her for her famous Cheesecake and Baileys/Kahlua Choc frozen drink. I can't remember what it's called, but it's my FAVORITE drink and she's the only one who knows how to make it. It's kind of a pain to make so make sure you tip her extra! Pretty terrible experience at this hooters. Waitress did not refill our drinks once, they never did get the correct sports game we had requested on TV, the wings made us sick, they forgot to bring the dips we paid extra for, and after all that we paid over $75 for the meal because they "forgot" to give us our military discount. After our second terrible food experience at Hooters Columbus GA we have vowed that this was our final visit. Twice we ordered wings on two separate occasions and the first batch was served under cooked and when returned the second batch came out just as bad, cooked too much. The grease tasted old and burnt. Even the curly fries came out dripping grease and were not edible. Waitress tried her best, but the food quality is worst of all Hooters we have ever visited. Hooters is very consistent all over the US. It is above all a sports bar. You are also no there for the health food. That being said, I still believe they have the best breaded buffalo wings anywhere. I ordered the 20 piece wings and a pint of beer (again, this is not the place for "health food"). Upon arriving to this dining establishment, I was greeted by a dashing young lady whom was very quick to seat me and the rest of my party. Came in with my boyfriend and toddler. Asked for a high chair. He asked me booth or table. I told him booth as long as it accommodated the high chair. Got the to the booth and it of course was way to tall for High chair which left us having her sit beside us. No kids menu was given. Waitress was nice but as the meal went on we felt ignored. The WORST experience EVER!!! My wife and I always try the local Hooters everytown that we move to. Always been a big fan of Hooters and their hot wings. We stopped by on a Sat night and found that the place was nearly empty (that's not a good sign, I told myself) walking in with my family and had that feeling which we were not welcome there. Our server (Sh) came to greet us without any smiles and gave that look again which made me feel like we were not welcome again. Most of the servers there spent thier time hanging out and talking to each other and less time taking care of us. We ordered some buffalo shrimp and it was the worst shrimp I have ever had. We moved on and ordered some wings and they were the biggest disappointment. The place was nearly empty but the food were taken forever to come out. WOW!!! that tells me everything why this place is nearly empty on a Sat night. Bad services and the food sucks. The manager seems like a nice guy, he stopped by once to ask if everthing was good. The servers are young and beautiful but the attitude was there. The men restroom was dirty and llts of trash everywhere. I mean it didnt have to be super clean but gosh, some of the gas station restroom looks way better than this restroom. I just wish that the food was better and the hooters girls were more friendly and make us feel welcome there! Definitely a big NO for this place. I'm in the Army, I have been stationed in Ga, both Savannah and Colimbus. I have always liked Hooters untill my current visit to the Hooters in Columbus, Ga next to Ft. Benning. The service is horrible and slow, the hooter girls seem to cater to a certain crowd, and we have requested 4 times for the TV in front of us to be changed and get blown off. The food is great, but takes forever, it is faster to get servedat the bar, but I'm with a group. I will inform my co-workers to go somewhere else. read more

This was my first and last visit. Since Im was staying in the area and had heard great things about their wings I called in my order. The service was horrible, I told the greeter at the door I was picking up an order she told me to stand by the bar and the young lady behind would help me. Needless to say she didn't even acknowledge me she kept making drinks and laughing and talking to other employees. I'm standing at the bar so I could see the kitchen area my order Is sitting there getting cold and a group of hooter girls are just standing around laughing and talking. So after about 20 min of this one girl from the group comes over not to help me but to tell me the girl behind the bar would be with me shortly and started to walk away so I stopped her I said I just need to pick up my order right there. She said ok I'll let her know its ready...she goes and whispers to the girl who still does not acknowledge me keeps right on doing what she was doing. After a few more minutes the same young lady comes back over and says again she'll be with you in a minute, and I said to her so meanwhile our food is getting cold...she didn't respond and walked away. When I finally got our food needless to say the order was wrong which made us wait a little longer...it was cold and the wings which I had heard so much about were horrible. I've been going to Hooter's for more than 20 years. The Columbus location is pretty darn good. Girls are friendly, food was good today and just how I ordered it. I spoke with the Assistant Manager afterward and asked, "What's the most important parts of your job?" She was taken back a little but did name several things including safety and welfare of the girls. I asked if they had a step ladder for the girls to reach the high cabinets. She said they did but not was visible or used as I watched one waitress stand on a stool (unsupported by another girl) and another waitress climb the countertop to reach the cabinet. Two easy solutions: 1) Place the step stool close to the high cabinets and require them to use it; or, 2) get one of the poles with the grabber arm to reach what you need from the floor. I would hate to see one of those lovely girls fall and get seriously injured. By the way, I believe Clam Chowder is sadly no longer served by Hooter's. read more
